“Seriously and hands down my personal favorite empanada's in Fort Lauderdale!! The crust is perfectly flaky but yet chewy, they dont skimp on the filling and oh my the seasoning in the filling is DELICIOUS. Not to mention their home made Chimichuri sauce to pair with the empanadas too.

It is a little difficult to find, its tucked in the building but when you find it trust me you'll be going back. Parking is complementary at the valet if youre going here!

“We dined at Village Café on Tuesday, March 14th and we had Liz and Angie as our waitresses, and both were very responsive and made several suggestions on the menu and answered all of our questions. Miguel is the chef at the restaurant and every dish is an artistic adventure! They take reservations which can be made off of their web site, and the brunch can be busy so a reservation is recommended. Our daughter and three of her friends are here for Spring Break and they had breakfast at the café and suggested that we try the restaurant. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Village Cafe is an American contemporary fusion restaurant, located just one block away Fort Lauderdale Beach, offering an unforgettable experience with a tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, all this in a nice atmosphere and a friendly staff. They have an excellent wine list to make purchases by the bottle and wines by the glass with many choices. The homemade house rolls with two spreads, one cilantro and the other with a kick of spice. We tried the following: Tuna Ceviche: Fresh tuna, mango, toasted peanuts, onions, cucumbers, olive oil, topped with lime juice, cilantro and aji limo Quinoa Tabule $28 Tricolor quinoa, onions, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, lime juice, served with four breaded jumbo shrimp Grilled New York Steak 10 oz Grilled steak marinated with an aromatic and charcoal-flavored oil. Deconstructed Key Lime Pie We ordered dessert because of all the reviews that complimented the key lime pie that we split. Thank you for a wonderful meal! “We landed early afternoon & headed straight to Café Bastille-Fort Lauderdale in Fort Lauderdale for brunch. I'd heard rave reviews about this spot & it exceeded expectations. We kicked off with a passionfruit margarita & a bacon bloody mary, both bursting with flavor. For our meal, we opted to share the truffle croque madame with a side salad & breakfast potatoes. The toast was wonderfully light & fluffy, & the potatoes had the perfect crunch. We couldn't leave without getting a NY pistachio croissant. The entire experience was enchanting. “Delicious coffee. Breakfast sandwiches freshly made. Sweet girls taking our orders & taking time with us as well. Cozy couch/table space on all sides of this place. Smaller ordering area with a very busy look, but thats the least of it. This place is delicious!!!!! Easy yes!

“I don't usually write reviews, however, this place is so good that I had to shout them out. The food not only taste fresh, but it is so fairly priced it's incredible. After my first visit in, I have been greeted by first name every single time. The breakfast burrito is amazing, the pitas are all so great, the portions are plenty, everything is just great. My only advice, when going for lunch, try to order online because they can get super busy and lunch takes a bit longer to come out, but that is because everyone keeps coming back for more! “Super impressed! Not many coffee shops know the true definition of a Machiato. It is espresso with a touch of milk (unlike what Starbucks would have you believe). I placed my order online so I could pick it up on my way to work, it was my first time visiting. The gentleman baristo was super thoughtful and made the espresso shots but wanted to confirm my order when I arrived. It came out perfect 👌 Will be back.“
