“Motor City Coney Island Ft Myers 3-25-25 We had to stop by here on a Tuesday for their special priced Coney Island Hot Dog at $2.99. We arrived there at 11:37 with just a couple tables with customers at them, but the place was not packed. This place was neat and very clean with everything in order. I loved the interior, the little bar area and Patio out front. Let me start by saying my expectations were not set high as I figured I’m going to review a place that just serves hot dogs. Boy was I wrong! This place exceeded all my expectations by a mile and then some. They serve so much more than Hot Dogs; they serve Breakfast all day, they have all kinds of Salads, Wraps, Melts, Pittas, Clubs, Gyros, Burgers, Fish and serve Beer and limited Alcohol. They will even Cater events for you. I ordered the Original Coney which had Chillie, Onion & Mustard. My wife Ordered the Tuna Wrap. Our friend ordered the Chili Cheese Dog which came with Chili and Cheese Sauce. We all ordered a side of Fries with our main orders. Our food came out a short time later and it looked amazing. I could not believe how good our food was. Our Dogs were piled high with toppings. This was by far the best Hot dog I had in this area. My wife’s Tuna wrap was very good and so big she could not eat the entire wrap. Our friend loved his Chili Cheese dog. All our food was hot and plenty of it even the Fries were good. Our waiter Freddy was spot on with checking on us. We even met one of the owners Armando which took the time out to introduce himself. You must put this place on your Must Stop By List you will not be sorry and certainly stop back just like we are going to do. A savory crispy-edged turmeric pancake stuffed with bean sprouts, shrimp and pork, alongside carrot, daikon, fresh romaine for wrapping, and a mountain of Perilla, basil, and mint leaves.. Only $10.99, and came with 'sincere' friendly service.. The waitress even asked if the music was too loud for mom! No credit card surcharges.. No sharing charges... My jaw dropped looking at what everyone else was eating... It was like a fine art exhibit......”

My only complaint was the kids got cheeseburgers and they were not good. For 9.25, I was hoping for better, lesson learned. But overall, absolutely amazing! I was sad to see Plaka go but Mythos is definitely a good substitute.”

She was super fast, clear, and professional with the order—no mistakes, no confusion, just smooth and efficient service.
When I got to the window, she was just as friendly in person, smiling, polite, and making sure everything was right before I drove off. You can tell she takes pride in her work, and honestly, it showed. The kind of customer service Sophia delivered is rare these days, and McDonald’s is lucky to have her!

The car in front of me had one small bag of food. I'm sitting in my car complaining to myself in disbelief that it took so long for a small bag. Get to second window and the female employee automatically gave me a serious attitude. I told her that it was a really long wait and she told me that I should go someplace next time. she assumed that I was yelling at her when I was complaining about the really long wait. Last I knew, you parked people if their food is going to take a while. Not back up the drive thru. And you certainly don't tell your loyal customers to go someplace else or treat them like we are an inconvenience. So thank you to the female in the drive thru who was so nasty to a loyal customer.”

They have such a large selection and it’s all in the case right in front of you so you can see what you’re going to order. You stand in front of the ice cream cases to order. Lots of times there are lines, but they move fast. They have just about anything you want from 1, 2 or 3 scoops cones to banana splits. They have regular, waffle, to sprinkle cones and bowls. You name it when it comes to ice cream, they have it. I have always liked Daddy Dees ice cream. It’s not soft, it’s a hard ice cream with lots of flavor. “I have tried many Ft. Myers Pizza Shops and have not found one that makes a pizza close to New York Style Pizza. Today I was in the McGeegor Pizza & Deli area and thought I would try it. Surprisingly the pizza was amazing, the crust was well done, the sauce was tasty and the mozzarella was enough to make the pizza tasty and delicious. Was told they were accepting walk-ins, call on our way and they'd put us on the list. Was able to get seated right away, party of 2! I had the turkey dinner and my beau had ham dinner... delicious, just like home. Our server (Cody?) was lovely and the owner took the time to check on us. It's no wonder Mel's has great reviews. Boy was I wrong! This place exceeded all my expectations by a mile and then some. They serve so much more than Hot Dogs; they serve Breakfast all day, they have all kinds of Salads, Wraps, Melts, Pittas, Clubs, Gyros, Burgers, Fish and serve Beer and limited Alcohol. They will even Cater events for you. I ordered the Original Coney which had Chillie, Onion & Mustard. My wife Ordered the Tuna Wrap. Our friend ordered the Chili Cheese Dog which came with Chili and Cheese Sauce. We all ordered a side of Fries with our main orders. Our food came out a short time later and it looked amazing. I could not believe how good our food was. Our Dogs were piled high with toppings. This was by far the best Hot dog I had in this area. My wife’s Tuna wrap was very good and so big she could not eat the entire wrap. Our friend loved his Chili Cheese dog. All our food was hot and plenty of it even the Fries were good. Our waiter Freddy was spot on with checking on us. We even met one of the owners Armando which took the time out to introduce himself. You must put this place on your Must Stop By List you will not be sorry and certainly stop back just like we are going to do. “Everytime I come here service is great. I just moved here from New Jersey and ive got accustomed to being a regular. Mike and Jersey are amazing. On top of their game. They offer good suggestions with food and drink and try to stay engaged with their customers. I sit at the bar every time just because they are there. Amazing bartenders, good food, and bloody mary to die for.”

“Love this place! Feels like it’s a hidden gem. It’s a part of the Luminary hotel and one of few sports bars downtown. They have great deals and if you are into golf/soccer/hockey/football they have a simulator. There is something for everyone here! Alyssa is my absolute favorite employee not just at Chips but the Luminary as a whole. She always remembers me and provides consistent top notch service. Brittany is awesome too. “My girlfriend and I are frequent eaters at Romeo’s, we love the food there. We tried switching to their BBQ sauce for a BBQ chicken pizza, and I’m not sure if it was the sauce or the cheese, but it smelled horrible and tasted rotten.

Besides that and some frequent order Mess ups, the food is actually pretty good”
