“We visited this gelato shop when we were in Tampa on our vacation cruise. We tried a few flavors and they were all amazing!! We visited a lot gelato shops and this is by far the best we’ve tasted. We especially loved their Chocolate Chip (very rich), Cookie Butter Biscoff, Tiramisu, Pistachio, Straciatella, Strawberry Cheesecake, Ferrerro, Passion Mango Sorbet 😋😋😋. Highly recommended“

“I have a son that resides in Florida near this Rita’s. Him and I were on a jog during my visit, and nearing the end of our 7 miles run, we run smack into this brand new Rita’s. Not my ideal post run meal, but the place felt so welcoming. So, I listened to my instincts, and went to go grab one of their delicious frozen treats. I get the vibe they're going for but just turning it down a notch would allow people to actually talk without having to raise their voice to the person right next to them. Can’t understand how this place is so underrated, or even overlooked.

There is a staple menu and a revolving menu, that is rather seasonal. The waffle cones are probably some of the best I had in the area. Samples are given in stainless steel spoons, which is a pretty nice touch.

No matter what kind of flavor you are craving for, there are sure to be a unique offering that you are going to get here. The cookies and mint and some of the chocolate ice cream I’ve had here are some of the best in my book.

Parking: There are a few parking garages around the Hyde Park area, where this ice cream parlor is located.“

I go the same place, pretty much at the same time every week and my favorite ice cream server (Kayden) prepares my Pecan Prelean Twirl with extra pecans exactly the way I like it.
