“We had dinner here recently and honestly we were surprised by some of the negative reviews. Our experience was the opposite.
The food was really good — fresh, clean flavors, perfectly balanced, and beautifully prepared. The portions were just right, not oversized, not tiny, simply well thought out. The sushi felt truly Japanese in style: simple, precise, and focused on quality rather than excess.
The atmosphere is fantastic. The space is full of Japanese posters and writing, very characteristic and immersive without feeling forced. It actually feels authentic and curated with care.
The staff were young, kind, and welcoming. The owner was friendly and attentive. We felt comfortable from the moment we walked in.
We ate very well and left genuinely happy. If you’re looking for sushi that tastes like real Japanese food — fresh, clean, and made with respect — this place is definitely worth visiting.“

“Great atmosphere, food, music and drinks! Definitely recommend it. I tried the New York ones and they are all great! Our waiter Carlos was amazing and very knowledgeable. He also made us feel comfortable and explained what certain food and drinks had in them. Love this place!!“

“I must admit the food is tasty but they give you so little for the money that you pay it’s ridiculous. I ordered a ramen and when I opened the container its half empty. I paid $17 for that and was still hungry afterwards. It’s not worth the money.“

“Yum Berry is ABSOLUTELY my FAVORITE place to go to for any meal and the penne Alfredo is definitely one of my many favorites, along with your grilled cheese panini and mozzarella sticks

“G7 Rooftop is a fantastic kosher spot in Hollywood that delivers on every level. The food is consistently delicious, with beautifully prepared dishes and great flavors across the menu. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, making it perfect for a night out, a date, or dinner with friends.
The location couldn’t be better, right next to the Hard Rock Casino, which makes it an ideal stop before or after an evening out. The rooftop setting adds to the experience, giving the place a great vibe and energy.
If you’re looking for an upscale kosher restaurant with excellent food, a great scene, and an unbeatable location, G7 Rooftop is an incredible choice.“

“Visited in September 2022. Food and atmosphere were good. This is a good Latin spot to come visit with friends or as a date. Definitely a good spot for drinks and hookah, as the night gets later, the DJ comes out, and it's a nice lounge kind of vibe. Drinks were strong but good, and the food was good as well. I ordered the Dominican Sushi, and my partner ordered the Chicharron Mofongo; both were delicious. I would absolutely go again.“
