Panera Bread in Jacksonville

“My wife and I went to this store last week for dinner. The team made a mistake and forgot the bread for the orders. The manager was very understanding and was able to fix everything in a short time. Thank you Panera team for doing your best for your customers!“

“Everyone was so nice and went way above and beyond with trying to get my bakers dozen ready. They didn’t have enough bagels of certain flavors and went to make more fresh and made the very small wait not bad at all with some yummy treats and just amazing customer service. It was a holiday and everyone had a smile on their face and was just genuinely very nice.“

“This is a brand new Paneras on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville. It's clean and, of course, the staff is still friendly and the food is still delicious. I'd share pics of the food but it was so good I ate it before I took pictures. There's plenty of parking and seating (just no booth seating) and there's outdoor café style seating as well. When it gets busybit can get pretty loud, but otherwise the atmosphere is pleasant. One more thing... they have a large oven/heater in the front and everytime it opens the smell of fresh bread and pastries will be tempt you to run and buy some!“

“I came to this location today with my husband , who just had an outpatient surgery today. The service was good, and the young lady that assisted us was a 10/10!! She noticed my husband soup bowl could have been filled up more and she refilled it as a courtesy!!! She was very nice and accommodating, I sure wish I would have gotten her name but she mentioned she just took over that location so shout out to her!!! Thanks we enjoyed the service and the food!!“

For a while it used to be dirty frequently but I think they have that under control (likely a staff problem). and it was clean when we were just there. 7/2026“

“Our family loves Panera and we usually enjoy the fact that it’s super fast when we go through the to go and rapid pickup. I don’t normally eat inside so if you get food to go it will be very quick. The food itself is very bread related hence the name. So you can’t get a big steak there or a hamburger but they have sandwiches with meat.“

“The Panera on Old St. Augustine Road is a nice new location with a great outdoor dining area. Ordering is easy via kiosk or human, and the food is always delicious. It’s a great value for the quality you get. A perfect, modern spot for a quick and tasty meal! Highly recommend the patio seating.“

“The staff here was attentive, I arrived later in the evening and ordered at the kiosk to make my presence easier on the staff, and the food was done promptly. Unfortunately, I didn't check the bag before leaving the restaurant ? I always check the bag.

I checked the bag when I got home realizing one item was missing from my order, I was worried I would be forced to drive back, and I was too tired for all that. I am 100% understanding when it comes to mistakes ? we all make them.

I called the location, explained the situation, and he offered a refund right there over the phone!! Other restaurants not offering this option, I was very satisfied with the service I received, and I got my money back on my card within a few days!“

“Five-star visit at Panera Bread! Let me begin by saying, I am not typically a Psnera Bread regular. It had always been pricey and I always felt I could make better sandwiches at home because growing boys eat more than what's typical a serving on the children's menu. Now that my children are adults and I don't eat bread, I've been exploring Panera's soup menu.more often.
We had NO CONCERN being out that day, even though it was in the 40s without sin and the wind cool was bread 38 degrees and Out, we were……
MMy best friend and i were out shoe shopping at the St. John’s Town Center. Andy I was cold to my bones even after the yummy coffees at Gregory’s, so, we stopped in for soup and sandwiches and decided to eat there — everything was fresh, warm, and exactly what we were craving. We also placed a takeout order, and the whole experience was seamless.

The front-of-house, Addison and Mike, team was awesome and fun, making us feel welcome right away. The back-of-house staff, I only spoke to Elijah was just as impressive — polite, organized, and right on time with all the meal prep. The Butternut Squash Soup has a braise flavor and it’s so healthy for my hypothyroidism and I will be getting it again soon. And, actually, I can’t say that I haven’t thought about making it this winter but I’m the only one that eats it so I would rather just get it from Panera.. because I always end up with left over and nobody will eat them. I’d rather just get Panera to make the bowl for me. You can tell there’s great teamwork happening behind the scenes.

Great food, great energy, and smooth service from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!“
