“We had such an amazing experience at Blue Orchid today. Our server Amber was absolutely amazing! She found out that I didn't like the taste of the CrabbyColatta and took it off my bill even though there was nothing wrong with it, it just wasn't my thing. The food here is cooked to perfection and some of the best in Jacksonville. The outside patio is truly the best in Jacksonville. We can't wait to return and will be coming back here much more often.“
“Clara's is fantastic. They have daily specials that really are special. Shrimp salad is so good. Look at the daily specials. So good. All the salads are great, but not lettuce ones, more like pasta and potato and egg salad. But you can get all the recipe salads on top of a great salad salad. Sprouts, avacado, cheese, tomato, cucumber, onion, and your dressing of choice.Feel free to tip at first, but nothing is needed throughout or when you leave. Real to the bone“

“This is my absolute favorite restaurant! I've been coming here for over 20 years. It's a nice cozy place, and family operated. When you walk in, you feel like you're being welcomed home. The curry is out of this world! Other, more "corporatey" restaurants just don't quite hit the spot. When people from out of town ask what one restaurant they should go to in Jacksonville, it's this place.“
“Bowl of Pho... my Husband and I favorite Pho place in Jacksonville. I think we are here once or twice a month and more if its the colder months lol. This place is located in Southside. it's a very decent size for a restaurant and they can accommodate a family size party. They have lots of choices here, from appetizers, drinks, pho, soups and noodles. Sadly, I will not be able to further tell you the other foods they order because we have our favorite foods here and we stick to it religiously but once in a while I will try something different. Our usual order is the grilled shrimp roll with the peanut sauce, Vietnamese egg spring roll for our appetizers as for our main meal, my husband loves their pho and I will usually go for either, chicken or shrimp fired rice, bowl of wonton soup, their gigantic seafood crispy noodle. Those are my choices LOL. Their Fried rice here is hands down one of the best fried rice in town! i love it! their wonton soup is really good too, it is served with 6 wontons and egg noodles and it is just so tasty and perfect on a cold weather.We tried other Pho places and we just kept going back to Bowl of Pho. Service is quick and the staff is great. I only had one bad experience with them and that was when I got the rainbow dessert, it didn't taste as fresh as when I had them before and I returned it and our server took it out from our bill, but other than that every time we go here we always have a great time.“

“We went for a late weekday lunch. We generally have a good experience at this location the weak spot this time was our server, not attentive and not very energetic. Maybe he was new but he acted as if we was in no hurry. Our orders came out correctly and were very good. I was happy the kitchen did not skimp on the shrimp. The payment kiosk on our table did not work. We waited for Slow Moe but he was nowhere to be found. Fortunately the manager stopped by and checked us out, plus brought out our forgotten Andes mints. Overall we had a good visit and will surely return.“
“It was a rough and busy day, and just wanted to end the day with a good meal. We met Harley (our server ) and immediately our mood was lifted. She has such a welcoming smile and personality. She was very attentive. I enjoy a glass of wine with dinner and was pleasantly surprised Harley asked if I’d like a water as well. That’s a first for me and I appreciated the attention to detail. “I must make note, this review is about an experience I had at this location a couple months ago; I meant to write a review then, but it slipped my mind.Bearing that in mind, I want to say that I remember distinctly that I had a wonderful time from the moment my brother and I walked in for dinner that evening, to the moment we left.Our server was Ms. Kerrigan and we honestly could not have had a more delightful person as our waitress. Her service that evening was absolutely superb. We were seated immediately, and our food arrived quickly.I ordered the fettuccine alfredo pasta with broccoli, and my brother ordered spaghetti with meat sauce. My brother cleaned his plate; I ended up taking home leftovers. We also greatly enjoyed the salad and breadsticks that we were served.We'll definitely be dining here again in the near future!“
“I had chicken& veggies with fried rice plus an eggroll. Lots of meats and veggies in the plate, including mushrooms which tasted very good. Everything was fresh in my case, the meat very tender. The pork fried rice was tasty and the quantity of meat was generous. The only minus was in the sauce, did not like it so much and it was too thin or sloppy. Other than that, good food. The place seems old, but clean and service is very fast and the price is hard to beat.“
“I love this pad Thai! It is delicious and they give you a good amount. I like how they add tofu to this one it adds to the volume. The restaurant does a lot of BOGO promotions for the pad Thai so if you catch them on a good day you can get a nice discount.“
“I bought the signature chicken sandwich and paid extra to add avocado - only to leave and open my sandwich to discover ONE single, small slice of avocado in it. Thank God I didn’t get far because I promptly called the store to make them aware of my situation and return. Bruce answered the phone and assured me that my sandwich would be remade and the appropriate amount (1/4 of a whole avocado sliced) of avocado would be put on my sandwich. I arrived and he apologized again and was so polite and kind. Would definitely visit this store again with this kind of treatment. I understand we are all humans and make mistake; so the situation being promptly corrected was greatly appreciated!“

“My wife and I live in Jacksonville for over 35 years, I’ve been to many Chinese restaurants and I’ve even told the lady at the counter this today that this is the best Chinese in Jacksonville, shoot probably the best in Florida.Try their chicken lo-mein, trust me been here 3 times and we clear the large no problem.Typical Chinese places I can only do half and be full and regretted buying it.Well not here!The lady is super nice and she hooked us up with extra cream cheese wonton just being nice and telling her this is the best!I know how critical reviews are and wanted to make sure you see this!“

“I went to Fast Eddy's last night. This place was obnoxiously delicious and knowledgeable and friendly. The owner immediately greeted us. Got our drinks and placed the order for the kiddos. (With a special upgrade for my daughter's burger because she won her volleyball game.) Then he took the time to walk through everything my husband (wheat allergy) and I (Celiacs and Dairy Allergy) could eat. There was a large portion of the menu that we could have. We went with the Beef Tikka and it was FANTASTIC. My husband and I were fussing over who got the leftovers for lunch the next day. This place is amazing. And SAFE. Which means the world to anyone with food allergies. I can't wait to go back.“
