“This was our favorite restaurant in Key Biscayne. The owners are incredible. The food is top notch and influenced from Northern Italy. I loved the chicken parmigiana. However, believe it or not my favorite item was the key lime pie. I ate probably 20 pieces of key lime all through the Keys and they simply had the best.“

“Luissell and her team were absolutely PERFECT for our rehearsal dinner. We got married at the Ritz in Key Biscayne, after a COVID-canceled Amalfi Coast wedding. We wanted a casual and friendly trattoria feel for our rehearsal dinner, similar to the welcome pizza party we had planned in Ravello. Luissell delivered. She helped set up all of the decorations without hesitation. In fact, when I arrived to deliver them 3 days before our wedding, my maid of honor had just tested positive for covid and couldn’t attend our wedding. Luissell was patient and kind to me. The food, service and ambiance at our rehearsal dinner was exceptional and exceeded every expectation. Luissell and her staff went above and beyond to make my husband and I, our 80+ year old parents and all of our guests feel special. The chef is a culinary genius. The staff is well trained and very good at their craft. The food, pizza, wine and price point is perfectly on point. Portions are huge and delicious. And the warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere is something that I still go back to as often as I can. Don’t underestimate the magic of this corner spot!“

Also, this shop has a big space to walk around and look for different pets to buy. It was very nice to visit here, and I was glad that I finally had my dreamed pet. Thank you!“

“The hard part is entrance. You go through a gate, to the end to a guest parking then enter the building and turn right then left. After a confusing entrance there is a very quiet restaurant with nice spacing, great for having conversations. Server was great and helpful with choosing appetizers, entrees and wine. Pasta was on-point and very balanced. All in all, a great place for both a romantic date or a business dinner. Will return.“

“I had a fantastic experience last night! The service is top tier--Marco and the rest of the staff are kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. I had the best beef carpaccio ever--try it, they put a unique spin on the traditional dish--followed by the baby artichoke hearts and accompanied by an amazing Swiss Pinot Noir from Lucas Madonia. One of the best dinners I've had in a while and I'm frequently out. Highly recommend this quirky and cool restaurant!“

“We sat outside for supper, it was a beautiful evening in Miami! We shared the Aristotele salad and the Capricciosa pizza, SO DELICIOUS. Our server was Chantale, she was helpful, knowledgeable and had a good personality. We may come back for lunch tomorrow before we sail away!“

“My two sisters and I went in on a Thursday at 6:15 with no reservations. We were warmly welcomed at the host stand and told they could seat us at the bar. We asked the host who seated us what his favorite dishes are and he recommended the creamy polenta appetizer and the pork chop. We were then greeted at the bar by Maria who was friendly and extremely helpful. She recommended a few wines and dishes and we settled on the polenta appetizer, a salad to share then we shared the spaghetti pomodoro, the mushroom pasta and the pork chop. Everything was truly delicious and we would definitely return.“

“I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“

“We were given a warm welcome, a table of our choice and had a delicious meal and drinks served in a friendly manner. I had the best tagliatelle Bolognese I have ever had and my husband loved his spaghetti carbonara also. The portions were very generous and because of that we didn't have room for dessert. We live in the UK but if we're ever back in the area to pick up a cruise, we will be back for more delicious food!“

The pizza is reall good! fresh ingredients, perfect crust, and full of flavor. But what truly makes the experience special is the service. Alessia was absolutely wonderful! The ladies at the front tell us they are running late so our 2:30 reservation will now be a 2:45 reservation and it was a big “maybe “, so off we go to wait in the middle of this awful wind, it's almost the time and my son and husband approach again only to be told they don't know how much longer we have to wait but my husband kind of doesn't take no for an answer and keeps insisting on how much longer, we decide to go to another restaurant, get my card off their system when they finally decide to sit us somewhere, the food was good, music very loud for my taste, wind at a minimum, thank god but that waiting and those girls and their attitude, I won't be going back.“

“We went with another couple for Valentines day. The food was great. We really enjoyed the salad with squash (cut/peeled into curls) and goat cheese, crispy pieces on top. The fritto mista was fresh, light and hot. The burrata was also very good- soft and pillowy on inside. Everyone had different kinds of fish- branzino, dover sole and salmon. All were cooked perfectly. They had a live music female vocalist with a beautiful voice and two other band members. Anna, our server was fantastic, as was Gary the GM. Would absolutely go back!“

“Ordered a prosciutto & burrata pizza with a spaghetti carbonara. The pizza was very good, very well made. Unfortunately the spaghetti carbonara was not as good. The sauce was not carbonara sauce. It heavily needed salt as well. They didn't have a manager on duty to issue a refund either, which is unfortunate. As a restaurant, you should always have a manager on duty or allow your employees to issue refunds.“
