New American Restaurants near Lake Worth, FL

“I hate to do this but I must. We were eating at Bizaare Cafe recently, all was going well until my boyfriend looked up and thought he saw something running along the floor. Sure enough rats were running around inside the restaurant while we and other diners were eating. I freaked and the manager or whoever she was came over and said yeah I know, we are taking care of it! Taking care of it she was not doing, she was serving food to people while she knew they had and still do have a rat problem. Her attitude shocked me as much as the rats did. I have been sick ever since(a week) with a sore throat and an overall sick feeling. I must say the food was good and if we hadn't seen them we would not have suspected anything. Now I know why they keep it so dark in there. Ugh!“

Every bite was a delight, especially the red snapper sashimi, gnocchi, and fennel salad the flavors were truly unforgettable. “My first experience dining here, read the reviews and they sounded good so decided to book a reservation. Arrived at the restaurant had to park four blocks away parking is atrocious. The hostess was busy talking on her phone, never a good sign. Sat down finally, decided on an appetizer and some entrees the waiter came back and said they were out of the appetizer, started off bad. Very limited fish dishes, ordered a steak dish and a fish dish,nothing spectacular and it was tough we did not say anything to the waiter the whole situation from beginning to end a total disappointment, couldn't wait to leave, actually felt nauseated after leaving after eating my fish with risotto, it was so greasy. Very loud place hard to have a conversation.I don't know what the hype is about this place because the prices do not match the food quality or the presentation. Would not recommend nor would I go back ever. The whole vibe was uninspiring and the atmosphere was just not a good experience or fun. I guess if you're a drinker this place might be fun but if you're not it makes waiting for your entree for 45 minutes more excruciating, was not impressed about anything about this place and I wanted to be. Note to manager find a Hostess that seems like she's interested in seating people and not talking on the phone. I could honestly say I had better food at the gas station on the way into town, the homemade empanadas there were amazing. All I can say to people is beware of reviews you'll get burned I know I have on several occasions. I've run into people who absolutely love this place while I've been in town, wish I could say the same. maybe I was there on an off night but waiting 45 minutes for an entree when three of their tables were seated and served before I was seemed a little strange. the wait staff seem tired and uninspired.“

“We had a lot of fun, BUT the ball machine was broken, and the above light half out not to mention, they double charged us on my credit card. So BEWARE they charge you at the bay for rental and food/drink when you leave and then ghost charge you later for the bay rental again with the card you reserved with. They don't answer the phones there or call back if you leave a message, so you have to do a dispute with your bank. SO pay attention and CHECK YOUR CC CHARGES Very unsavory business practice.“

“This is a medium sized club in the old classic delta club style. The bathrooms while clean are small. Food spread is same as other clubs and so is the bar and beverage areas - just in small size. There are several seating areas, including cubicle like business area for those working/taking calls. It’s a bit tired looking in decor but clean and nice. Also location wise it’s nice midpoint and the tram station is right in front of it - so easy to hop on to go to your gates. Delta always wins in service, people at desk as well as servicing areas of the club are kind, and professional. Big window seating area brings in light and you can watch the tarmac. Enjoy and smooth travels!“

Recommend: the burger, the prime rib au jus sandwich (the best ever), fried chicken sandwich, macho salad, tuna tartare, shrimp cocktail (they are legit the size of lobsters) and devilled eggs. Everyone goes crazy for their fries — which are unique — tiny crunchy little guys. Get the spicy mayo on the side and the garlic salt for the fries.

The cocktails are delish. We love their Spicy Margaritas, Old Fashioneds and Negronis. They have a Caymus Cab by the glass which is medium to full bodied and is delish too. If you want a light beer they have a great Kolsch.“

“I had the pleasure of escaping a god awful retreat nearby and came here to look into booking a room. Unfortunately, they didn’t have a room with two beds for my friend and I but honestly, the experience at the restaurant saved my mind and heart. Rebecca was my server for brunch and she lovingly gave me amazing food recommendations! Touting the man who makes the smoked salmon sold me immediately and she did not oversell this amazing bonus side dish! Rebecca was attentive to me the entire 2hrs+ that I sat there figuring my life out. The view was gorgeous, the breakfast sandwich was perfection, the coffee felt like a hug from the inside. I highly recommend coming to enjoy a morning meal here and sit with Rebecca. Her smile is soul enriching and her demeanor left me feeling like a million bucks.“

“We decided to do something different for our anniversary especially with the cold front that came thru in January. We drove from Vero Beach to test out Puttery. We were greeted by two awesome team members Gabe the manager and Kaitlin the bartender. While we didn’t eat there, the food & drink menu looked pretty awesome. I did indulge in some champagne. We were truly impressed with how Puttery was setup, the vibe and the course. We had a blast and something we said we should bring the kids to do. A good enough time to breakup the day for a hour. There’s Jenga on the tables outside which we played a competitive game of (I won of course) and Chess & Connect 4 for some outdoor fun. It was great to have done a day date there. It wasn’t crowded at all and we had the whole place to ourselves. If you’re looking for a fun date night idea, checking out Drive Shack/Puttery is a great idea. Thanks Gabe & Kaitlin for kicking off our 8yr anniversary celebrations!“

“This place is a beautiful landmark country club in Ocean Ridge, FL that overlooks the beach. In the recent past, I had the opportunity to serve many polite and respectable families. I worked in the food service dept. where the executive chef was a genuinely kind person who put together excellent cuisine. This club is a beautiful venue for parties, weddings, and occassional lavish buffet dinners and even group board games. It is a members and guests of members only club.“

Yup, thats it. Oh! And yummy fries and Texas toast. Delicious coleslaw. And the sweet tea is fabulous.
Don't ask for any sauces. It comes with Canes sauce. But you don't need any other sauces. Because that stuff is perfect.“

“I wouldn’t normally review a restaurant in an airport, but considering how poor the food and service have become at most, I feel obligated. For those that have flown in or out of PBI, you already know this is one of the nicest in the country. Sam Snead’s adds to this with a small well run corporate location with very good (pub style) food, very reasonable prices (half of most major airports) and excellent service. Yes Virginia, at Sam Snead’s you can still place your order with and receive excellent service from a real person. If you are at PBI, this is the place to eat and drink. For you golfers, there is also has a nice indoor putting green.“
