“Ordered to-go from Liang’s Bistro pretty much by accident. I was in the area and wanted Asian to go but not Chinese or Ramen or Sushi. Limits the options, yes. Went here hoping it was more than a typical Chinese takeout shop. It turned out to be a bistro, as it is called, with a pretty and warm interior, table-side service and an impressive wine storage along one wall. The restaurant features an open kitchen with a large but not overwhelming menu. I chose yellow curry chicken, Thai basil with tofu and a pad Thai dish as well as shrimp lettuce wraps. Everything was delicious even though it was an hour before I made it home for us to eat dinner. What I like best is they do a little of everything - Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese and even noodles and poke without offering so many of each kind that you know it’s going to be awful. The manager took great care of me, mentioning that this is their second location after a long stint in Tampa and that the business is owned by a Chinese individual who is adamant about serving Asian food, rather than just his country’s dishes. I liked it and look forward to taking my family and friends. Feels comfortable and is affordable. I spent $62 to feed four people and we have leftovers in the fridge.“

“Place I go to when I need Chinese food being that I’ve tried a lot of others and this place is just great at what they do and it’s clean. I’m always going there and they’re cleaning and it’s great. Yes, they have been times where there was a kid doing his homework off to the side so that means this place hits.“

“I lived in the Carrollwood/Citrus Park area for about 11 years and China Wok was always our go-to Chinese place. This isn't a restaurant where you would likely want to sit and eat although you can. They are best suited for take-out and delivery and they were always quite reliable and consistently good. Portions are good-sized and ingredients always fresh. China Wok was always sensitive to and delivered on special requirements- leaving out certain ingredients or adjusting recipes to meet taste or dietary needs.

If you live in the area, I highly recommend China Wok for take out and delivery as I found it was the best Chinese restaurant in the area.“

“This is my go to spot in Tampa, they’re always so quick and on point. The food is bomb, I always get the General Tso dinner combination (photos attached) and love the eggrolls have actual veggies in it and not that weird mushy stuff most Chinese restaurants do. 10/10 would recommend“

“I’ve been getting takeout from here, off and on, for years. Usually, it’s just okay. Quality seemed inconsistent. However, today was different. Everything was so much better. I usually do not get my favorite, shrimp and lobster, because the shrimp tastes old or over cooked. Tonight was different. It was so good. Cooked perfectly and had a wonderful garlic taste. Store becomes overwhelmed rather quickly during high volume periods. This results in extended wait times & occasional mistakes in order. The store has always made corrections honorably. Quality has always been consistent.“
