“Our wedding was Sunday, 10-06. We had family and friends flying in, all ethnicities that you could think of. This was going to be a dance celebration with a lot of drinks so I wanted the food to taste great and be filling! But it was better than I could have expected. People are still talking about the great flavor of our food! It was so good that the buffet had to shut down because most people were already on their 3rd plates with no intention to stop!? For that reason, we were fortunate to have a little left over for another family dinner the very next day and even when sober, the flavor was even more incredible! For dinner we had, Jamaican Rice and Peas, Haitian Mac Au Gratin, Chicken Creole, and Sweet Glazed Salmon. My husband and I are not Haitian or Jamaican but we love what would hit the spot!! On top of that, Broward Catering also gave me and my husband a side of Filet Mignon and Churrasco. Caitlin was helpful and Suzana was beyond helpful and gave me great pointers, as this was my first time catering to 142 ppl. I couldn’t thank Broward Catering enough and wish them the best with their new ownership of Lavan Venue. Totally was worth it!“

“Recently, we entrusted “Catering by Mark” to provide and serve food for a wedding celebration at our home. They also coordinated the rentals of tables, chairs, high tops and linens. From the beginning, we knew we chose the right caterer. Throughout the process, Mark and Blanca were very quick to respond to any inquiry we had.
Mark helped create a stylish affair with passed hors d'oeuvres, a self-serve appetizer table and a variety of dessert shots. We were impressed with the number of options available. The food was FANTASTIC. Everything was fresh, nicely presented and delicious. All of our guests commented how wonderful everything was. Mark insured that everything was ready on time and kept the food flowing. The servers, Gilda & Dionne and the bartender, Carolina were also excellent. They were professional, friendly, efficient and made all of our guests feel welcome and well fed. And, at the end of the night, everything was cleaned up and put away which was “icing on the cake”!
Thanks to all of their hard work, they helped make our celebration a HUGE success! We definitely recommend “Catering by Mark” to everyone and I am sure the guests that attended will all do the same!“

“We had a combined 70th and 75th birthday party in the Peacock Event Space on a Saturday evening with 65 guests, passed appetizers, buffet dinner and open bar. The tables were laid out beautifully prior to our arrival and the space has adjustable lighting and piped in music. Everyone complimented the food and service. “Essence Caterers organized the food and drinks services for my wedding and I had an excellent experience. The tasting for the selection of the menu was very well conducted and we were able to add and change menu items without problem. With my wife we were organizing the wedding from out of state and ended up hiring through Essence Caterers the rental of tables, chairs, silverware, etc. They took charge and set up everything perfectly. The bar service was also very good. I would work again with them for events based on the excellent quality and variety, the service, and above all their organizing abilities and willingness to help make any event a success. I think that for all this we got a great deal!! Paul and Josie were excellent! Thank you!!“

They set up a tasting after getting some information about what we had in mind, and everything they made us was so good, it was very hard to decide. “The Door2Door Team did an incredible job with catering our wedding!We owe them a huge thank you for everything their team did, through the planning phase and at our wedding. The owner, George, and the head chef, went out of their way to make sure we had our Haitian Pork and Rice for our wedding, which was a really meaningful thing for us to incorporate into our wedding. Our wedding was the first time that many of my family members got to try Haitian food and experience a little bit of my husband's Haitian culture. The food was absolutely incredible and we are still receiving wonderful reviews of the food. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how good the food was, especially the apps!As the wedding couple, we probably only had 2 apps each and one tiny bite of our cake. “The chicken marsala pizza is amazing. A sauce that is just the right consistency, and a flavor straight from Italy. I opted for the gluten free crust, which I was happy to discover was a cauliflower crust. many places.use the udi's GF crust, which is ok, but not great. The crust they use here was lovely. I would definitely get the chicken marsala pizza again, but they have so many different and unique options I would have to try others first. I also had their pasta fagioli, which was the best I've had in a very long time. The flavor was complex and delicious. a hidden treat for those that are gluten free, the soup is made in houe and the pasta is not added until it is time to serve. ordering without pasta, it is gluten free. The owners happened to be there when we stopped in. They were super friendly and very helpful in addressing my dietary restrictions. The quality of ingredients really shows in their food.i highly recommend trying this restaurant.“

Dietary restrictions: They didn’t really have noted gluten free options on menu, but they accommodated so well. The cheesy hash was gluten free, and delicious. They even cleaned the grill for me.
