“We are visiting the island and were hoping to find some doughnuts. After striking out on pine street we headed for a drive on longboat key and stumbled up this cute little place! The owner was lovely to talk to and the doughnuts were SO GOOD!! If we were staying another day we would definitely be back for more!! Next trip we will come back by and you definitely should too!! 5 stars!!“

Their selection of drinks is amazing as well and has something for everyone! We didn’t try any savory dishes but they were probably really good too. Mermaid Pies was recommended to us by some friends while visiting Bradenton… fast forward a few years later (and many slices later) we had Shawna cater pies for our Wedding. “Turner donuts is a staple in Bradenton , a lot of return customers the owner knows by name which I love. I had their croissant with egg cheese and sausage which was delicious with a side of hot sauce. Their donuts are delicious per usual, and I also had a small coffee which balanced everything out.“

“Just had breakfast this morning. Will not return. Ordered two eggs benedict breakfast. Awful. Eggs came out hard-boiled on toast. Sauce was runny and weak and did not have the creamy consistency. Eggs were cold. Waiter brought out what appeared like a mandatory 20 percent gratuity. I complained to my waiter and to my family from out of town. Will walk across street next time.“

“This is my favorite place for Honduran food! Highly recommended! Helen is always very helpful every time I come here. She is an asset to the company for sure! I am not sure why people are complaining about prices and being overcharged. “I worked at the Bradenton Bakery as a production technician/sponge mixer and I was responsible for getting the process of making the bread started. I mixed all the ingredients into a huge dough mixer and after it fermented for about an hour I pulled the troughs of dough, that weighed over 2000 pounds, onto a lift that raised it up and dumped the dough into the main mixers. It was a very hard and hot job but I loved working there. My experience with the company as a whole was awesome. I recommend to anyone that doesn't mind working hard and getting great pay and benefits to apply there. The human resources department folks are just wonderful and will treat you very well.“

When we got there we got greet by staff and saw a table of buffet and she offer buffet to us and we got buffet. Food was delicious,drinks,great service and the vibe was good and we took dessert home.
