“Hubby and I came to try Gallos Pollos on a Tuesday and it was SO good! We brought 2 more family members 2 days later and came back again today! This place is AHHHMaaaazzzzing!!! The food is delicious and so full of flavor! The steak, chicken, and carnitas are tender and juicy! The cornbread is moist and so good! The icing on the cake…is the staff!! Aaron to Joey to Anthony…they are so welcoming and very friendly! We will be back again…and again…and again!!!“

Quick and pleasant. Nothing amazing but doesn't need to be. The atmosphere is eh. Eating inside is only good if you're with friends. Otherwise it's a little sad watching AtmosphereTV show AI generated clips on your own.“

“I started going to Athena’s when my son and family first moved to Maitland over 17 years ago. Since 2018 I went there at least once a week. Having to move back to Connecticut, I miss their chicken so much. My grandchildren know when I come to visit that is the first place I stop to eat. Their chicken is always so delicious and moist. I wish they would open a place here ❤️“

“This place is awesome. The lunch quarter chicken is my go to. I love onions, and their sauce bar is loaded with different onion options. I honestly just call it the onion bar, and it's one of my favorite parts of eating here. The food is always flavorful, the service is fast, and the prices are hard to beat. If you're looking for a delicious meal at a great value, I can't recommend this place enough.“

“This was our first time trying Dave's. We tried two tenders, fries, and a mozzarella stick, heat level varying from mild to hot. The tenders and mozzarella stick were amazing, possibly the best quality chicken tenders we've ever had. We were a bit disappointed with the heat level. Everything tasted delicious but none of it was spicy, there was more sweet for sure. Still delicious and we’ll definitely be back and will have to try the hotter options.“

“Family was visiting from out of town last week, so we placed a large to‑go order at the Pollo Tropical in Sanford. When it came time to pay, our debit card kept getting rejected, even after the staff tried multiple registers and attempted to split the payment.

We were about to remove items to pay in cash when the manager, Pedro, explained there was a software glitch preventing debit card payments over $50. He immediately stepped in and discounted our order by 35%, which allowed us to get everything we needed.

With a little patience and understanding, what could have been a frustrating situation turned into a positive experience. Our whole family was extremely grateful for Pedro’s help and the Sanford team’s effort to make things right.“

“I have ordered catering for our office of 100 many MANY times from this CFA location, and I am impressed by the service every single time. We order breakfast and lunch for our staff multiple times per year and the communication and efficiency from this location is unmatched. The manager is in constant contact from the moment I place my order, and the staff who delivers the food is kind courteous and efficient every single time. “They turned something that would’ve been a bad experience into an amazing one. Truly fantastic customer service. I ordered in the drive through and they didn’t have my food ready during peak dinner rush today.
I had to leave the drive through completely and wait for 5-10 extra minutes in a parking spot, and the girl running the drive through personally profusely apologized and gave me a big handful of free coupons.

That’s how to do customer service. I’ve been to other fast food places where I had to wait and I get nothing but a dirty look and half cold food.“

“Yesterday 9/24/26 around 12:45pm-1:45pm, I experienced Josh and his wonderful godly employees worked with such diligence and respect for their customers, no matter their age. I had to thank them, for a job well done before I left the restaurant! I arrived at 12:30pm, for lunch, while eating I saw about seventy-five to a hundred teenagers (our future leaders) flowing in right up until I left around 1:55pm. “Great location and it's hardly ever busy I feel like it's overlooked since its the newest location in the area. But that doesn't mean it's inferior. I think it is probably the better of the 2 locations in Sanford. Staff is friendly service is quick and accurate and the restaurant is always spotless. I'm in the area frequently for work and I always choose to stop here rather than the other. I am never able to stay and eat but it I did I would definitely sit outside there patio is very nice and always clean with plenty of tables. This is a great Chick Fila location and great far anyone.“
