“This place is an oasis! The owners were simply delightful, the food was amazing, and the ambience of the seating area was relaxing and didn’t feel like I was in an office building at all. “We had been seeing the $9,99 burger meal special advertised on TV and feeling in the mood, hubby and I decided to use an old Applebee's gift card. The server was friendly and willing to change the cheese to cheddar and bring barbecue sauce. It was more of a smashburger, but that was OK. The cheeseburger was messy and filling, especially with the generous portion of fries. Though the server forgot the hot sauce for hubby, the barbecue sauce satisfied him and added flavor to his fries.“

Now, the bar outside has arguably the best bartender in the area and abroad. Steph is the bomb. Followed her from another establishment to this location. Amazing person, and great bartender. “The food and the atmosphere was great but unfortunately the service that we got was terrible. We sat at the bar because there were no tables available and the second we got there our bartender was so rude. Randy looked like he hated working there and we overheard him complain about people sitting at the bar on karaoke night with their tab closed. He kept on forgetting to get our black friend drinks and once we asked to close our tab he refused to give us an itemized receipt before we paid. Once we paid, we pointed out there was an issue on our tab and he gave us attitude. Honestly it wasn’t even about the money but we were just annoyed about the bad service. I would come back to his place as long as there’s different staff to take care of our group. On previous occasions we’ve had bartender Nico. and he has always give us outstanding service and drinks.“

“Husband and I were visiting Orlando for the first time and came across Maxine's on Shine. It is such an absolutely incredible charming restaurant! The food was outstanding, with generous and delicious portions, great prices, lots of options and vegan options and drinks but above all -- the hospitality was exceptional! From the greeting from the hostess, discussion with the bartender to the server, busser and owners, they all truly made us feel like a local to the city and appreciative of our business. You really can see the passion from Kirt and Maxine (owners) as it really shines through in every detail in their food, decor and ambiance of the restaurant and you can see that same passion in their staff! My husband and I went for dinner on a Saturday night and had such a wonderful experience that we simply had to go back on Sunday for the brunch before leaving town. Truly an AMAZING experience and such wonderful people! 100 STARS!!!“

“Yum, Yum, Yum! I was invited to lunch at Papa Diesel's Restaurant on my visit to Apopka, FL. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the entire experience was a treat. A friendly family atmosphere greeted me at the door, with the added touch of care that was immaculately given to every detail. The aroma from the kitchen activated my taste buds, as I stared mesmerized by the extensive menu. Finally, I decided to go for the “Diesel Sampler”. The brisket was so succulent that it melted in my mouth. The ribs fell from the bone with such flavor that no sauce was necessary—the pulled pork I used to sample the homemade sauces. As I was told, the sauces will soon be available in the local supermarkets (as I can attest to becoming a family staple). Needless to say, the sausage, chicken, and sides all met with the same flavorful standards. Ending my meal with a dessert, I enjoyed the peach cobbler and shared a nibble of key lime cake with my date. It was an enjoyable afternoon, sharing special time with loved ones in a loving environment, dining on food prepared by Papa Diesel, who loves to cook for folks, and making them feel at home!“

Since this was during the workday, I needed to be able to get there and back with my food quickly to fit into my 30 minute lunch break! “We’ve been to all three Hangry Bison locations. Winter Park was our first and quickly felt like home. Winter Garden kept the magic going, and now Lake Mary has us just as hooked! This place has become our go to spot. Great food, amazing drinks, welcoming atmosphere, and service that makes you feel like family. I highly recommend. The Hangry Bison never misses!“

“This is a well Loved, always busy place in the Longwood area. Saying this I've always been able to get my order fast and it's always been perfect. Using the driver thru or eating inside hasn't ever been a problem. Kind friendly staff,clean dining areas with plenty of parking always. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and Mom had the Culver's double cheeseburger without cheese and we were both satisfied. Great experience every time. I'm glad to have Google reviews and to be able to share my experience with others about this nice place to get this version of fast food.“

“Really great wine bar in Winter Park. Great selection of wines! We loved the cheese and meat boards and the flatbreads. We sat outside which was lovely. Our server, Julie went above and beyond to make our afternoon special - massive thank you to her.

Small downsides - very popular so difficult to get a table - wouldn’t recommend for a massive party. We also thought it was a bit cheeky that they charge $4 just to get the wine card.“

“I’ve been coming here for years and always so pleased with my dishes. My all time favorite is the Nutella Waffle and the Fried Green Tomatoes are to die for. The environment can be a hit or miss since it’s right on the side of park ave, a busy street with many cars and people walking through the tables to get to the shops, that’s if you’re sitting outside anyway. If you’re sitting inside, good luck trying to hear anyone as the inside of the establishment is very small and cramped..nonetheless, I do recommend checking this place out for their food, it’s always so good!

Parking: It’s Park Ave.. the worst place in the area to find parking, especially on the weekends.“

The food was very delicious, reasonable prices as well as the atmosphere of the place is very relaxed, the music was at an acceptable volume, the bathrooms were clean.

They have chairs available for small children as well as a varied menu for them.
