For those of you who are unaware (most people) this is against the law and cannot be done. The business has been notified of their infraction and hopefully your next visit will not include this surcharge. If it does, be sure to dispute the fee. I found this hidden gem looking for a new place to host my calligraphy events and it's perfect! “The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, the staff were friendly and professional, and the food was presented well and tasted great.we had the churrasco and salmon for dinner that was cooked well but the Grilled Octopus the best item we had was nicely cooked and was a great portion. The only negative item was predinner drinks. We ordered an old fashioned and a lychee martini. Both drinks were prepared too sweet. The wine with dinner was a better choice. Overall, it was a great experience and will visit again.“

“Sumo opened in Boca Raton, FL during Covid in 2019. The letters on the strip mall in Mission Bay read 'Sumo Sushi'. Not being a fan of sushi, I avoided going in...until today, when I was looking for an alternative to my usual hangouts. Erica greeted us at the door and welcomed us in. I ordered the Temura Chicken and Vegetables and my friend ordered the Teriyaki Cicken. The salad that we selected as our starter was fresh, crisp, and flavorful with a sweet ginger dressing, and our meals were perfect. Erica was personable, attentive, and witty, providing exceptional service. The dining room was clean and so was the sushi bar and the restroom. There are only 7 tables in this establishment and the sushi bar has seating. If you haven't noticed this place because it's set back in a corner of the mall, and you like quality Japanese food, you should give them a try. I'm happy I did and I can assure you that we will be returning. The tempura was some of the best I'd ever tasted. It's my new favorite dish!“

I had their Wonton soup and Spring rolls for an appetizer. The soup was tasty and a large bowl of soup. Each chicken wonton was very good. The spring rolls were cooked just right along with the dipping sauce had the perfect amount of spice. My main course I had 2 sushi rolls. The Rainbow Dragon roll and the tempura tuna roll. Both were so good and each had 12 pieces. The presentation of the rolls was nice too. I couldn’t stop eating all the food it was so good. Service was fast, and very pleasant. Nothing came out notably fast, but I was never wondering what happened to our order. The food itself was EXCEPTIONAL and greatly exceeded my expectations. We tried a variety of things and they were all scrumptious! I highly recommend the Glazed Sticky BBQ Ribs (or something like that). They were packed with flavour, and the BBQ sauce was amazing! All of the appetizers, sushi, and desserts were great, but the miso soup was a little salty for my taste. Overall, this restaurant was delicious and I highly recommend! “Found this restaurant while I was trying to find a restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was not a disappointment. The staff, the service, the food and drinks, everything simply amazing.

We had a group of 12 and we had Dorian as our server who was very attentive and patient with us all. The other staff who kept coming in to clear our table was also making and pleasant! Wish I could’ve given her a big hug.

Everyone was pleased with their meals, drinks and service and it was the talk of the night.
