“What a wonderful clean and friendly place to come when I’m in town! I asked the cashier can I try a sample of the rice and beans and the djion djion rice and the owner brought it out from the back and both of them were absolutely delicious! She even let me know that I can do half-and-half if I would like. I definitely recommend this place for all your Haitian food needs! I would definitely give them a 10 stars if I could!!“

“What a great place! Filled with love and good food. A Christian family owned business. Great food. Delicious house made cake slices. Vanilla rum cake was incredible, but need to come back for the carrot and velvet cake. Delicious and nutritious fresh juices-ginger mango and soursop. “I’ve been a loyal Hammond’s customer for many years. Even while living out of state, I regularly had a dozen Callaloo patties shipped to me. Recently, I made the drive from West Palm Beach, where I now live, to pick up my usual order in person.

On the way home, I couldn’t resist enjoying one of the patties—and it was just as delicious as I remembered. But to my surprise, the next one I bit into was filled with ground stew chicken. As it happened, the entire batch had been mislabeled.

I contacted the bakery, and I was truly impressed by how quickly and professionally the management team handled the situation. Not only did they identify and correct the issue right away, but they went above and beyond by personally delivering a fresh batch of patties directly to my home. And let me just say—they were the best I’ve ever had from Hammond’s: perfectly flaky and full of flavor.

To make up for the mix-up, they included six additional patties in the delivery—three of which were ackee and saltfish, and just as delicious. This kind of transparency, responsiveness, and generosity defines outstanding customer service. Hammond’s is setting the standard, and I couldn’t be more appreciative.“

“I learned about Junie’s after watching Fat Joe new show on Netflix, he was interviewing DJ Khalid and they both talked about this restaurant. Chile let me start by saying that the owner is so sweet and friendly the food … the food smell so good but taste wonderful. I had the jerk chicken with rice n peas and cabbage with sauce on the side…I also had a Jamaican Pineapple Soda 10 out of 10 10 10. If you’re in Miami you need to bust a move and go to Junie’s you will not be disappointed… WE DA BEST“

“Spots like this aren’t known for customer service but the food always makes up for it. The Legume is one of my favorites but haven’t had anything from here that I didn’t like. Great portions. Very small not many tables so I’d recommend take out option. You can also order in English which helps if you do not speak Haitian Creole.“
