“I did a quick Google search and found this place. I didn’t wait more than 20 minutes for pick-up, and the food came out fast and hot. It was delicious! The best part was they allowed simple changes without any hassle. That’s what I call great customer service and putting customers first. I have a few more items I plan to try next time!“

“We go to shokudo since its opening, which over 12 years now. The food continues to amaze us, the quality and the freshness is stellar. The ambiance, the service and the food makes us feel like we are eating at home. Our favorites are the tuna poke, the grilled octupus, the shokudo, the yuba, the samurai, the mango and the blue crab rolls are fantastic, so fresh. The torched salmon nigiri is a delicatesse. And if they ever offer a special don't miss out, they are always spetacular!“

“I love this place. Small place, you can just sit at the bar if there is room. Take plates off as you want off the boat. They also have a few tables for small groups. If you want space, don't sit at the bar. Grab a table if that bothers you. Staff there is always awesome. Food is delicious. Tuna Sashimi is one of my favorites. I have come here with my wife before, she loves it too, but I do like just coming in here by myself, grab what I want to eat, have a beer or 2, and head out. The place always looks nice and clean. Highy recommended.
There is a mango roll that I never knew existed, tried it, and loved it.“

“I finally got a chance to take my girlfriend to Katana for a dinner date as we have tried dining here on several occasions but they're constantly at max capacity. It's a unique venue as it only has seating for about 20 people. The sushi selection is plentiful, although, the quality of the sushi could have been better but you can also order from their regular food menu. Overall, I give them a 4. Katana has the potential to become a 5, but between the long wait time to be seated and the mediocre sushi quality, I have to go with a 4. I would've liked to see more of the expensive sushi plates $8+ going around the sushi river. I recommend visiting.“

This omakase was a very relaxed 2 hour seating, with remarkable views of the ocean and the north Miami skyline. “Found this place while searching for a Japanese/Thai restaurant in the area, the restaurant looks kind of outdated, the food was good, the best for me was the vegetable fried rice, lots of flavor and crispy veggies, the yakisoba was just ok, not a lot of flavor and the shrimp was overcooked, hard , dry and lacking flavor. Server was friendly but did not come ti the table unless called. Mixed outcome, try it if you want.“

I feel after the pandemic, it's really changed the service force. It was such a fresh breath of air to have such an amazing time and service! I had a party of 11 of us for my birthday, and we were treated with smiles, and taken care of like kings. The food was phenomenal! Some of the most beautiful, fresh seafood I have ever had in my entire life. I've been traveling seven years full-time, and I will definitely be coming back just to eat here! The patio is absolutely gorgeous! It will soon be right on the ocean once they are finishing some construction!
