“I cannot believe I had one of the best sushi in a food hall at the Miami Design District. The fish melts in your mouth and it combined so well with the sauces. I usually always order spicy mayo on the side, but it was not needed for this roll. We liked it so much that we had to buy it again. Not because we were hungry but it was just that delicious. I also tried the Wagyu hand roll and it was fantastic as well. I also loved the service and cleanliness from the place. I will definitely return to here to have this special roll again.“

“I rarely write reviews but last night I had the most extraordinary dinner at Aoko. It is a beautiful little gem of a restaurant with a great vibe, and kind attentive service - for sure. But what compels me to write is the food ... Simply amazing. We had the omokase and each serving was more incredible. My friend was visiting from SF and he said it was the best sushi he's ever had! It truly a special dinner. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful restaurant!“

I feel after the pandemic, it's really changed the service force. It was such a fresh breath of air to have such an amazing time and service! I had a party of 11 of us for my birthday, and we were treated with smiles, and taken care of like kings. The food was phenomenal! Some of the most beautiful, fresh seafood I have ever had in my entire life. I've been traveling seven years full-time, and I will definitely be coming back just to eat here! The patio is absolutely gorgeous! It will soon be right on the ocean once they are finishing some construction! She stated it was an ice cream base with chocolate and almonds on top with a chocolate crust. However when we got the dessert it was not an ice cream base but chocolate mousse. In fact two layers of mousse and no ice cream whatsoever. That was very disappointing as I do not like mousse. So this kind of ruined the dessert portion for our first time there.“

He was polite, attentive, and truly went above and beyond. If you come here, definitely request German as your server because he will make sure you have the best time.
