“Yellow dog is an unassuming building along the side of the road but beyond the door is a real treat.The top floor is quaint and authentic while to lower level opens to an expansive outdoor waterside patio.The food and service were excellent and the prices were reasonable for the quality.Shrimp Florine was very tasty and while surprised to see meatloaf on the menu it was beyond any you have tasted before.The amazing blue crab bisque uses the same recipe for 23 years.The wine menu had a varied selection at reasonable prices.The dessert tray looked great but we were too full to enjoy them. “Dotties is always consistent. I have recently been going here with some other friends. The service is always good, sometimes a tad slow with the number of customers. It is always busy here. This little hole in the wall, that most people don't even know is here, is a charmer.Food is good, and usual for a small diner like this. “We had dinner at the old Fish House restaurant last night with family that came to town that we have not seen for 50 years. We did arrive just 30 minutes before closing, not my usual restaurant etiquette. From the time we arrived until our late exit, everyone was friendly and helpful. “We’ve had dinner at Mo-Bay too many times to count! The atmosphere is relaxed, “islandy” and cozy. The service is always great, the food is fantastic! On our last visit (March 14, 2024) we thoroughly enjoyed blackened mahi-mahi and coconut crusted snapper finished off with a generous and delicious slice of deep-dish key lime pie. Mo-Bay is our favourite restaurant in the area. The owner—Mr. Wesley Campbell—is a lovely man to chat with and often makes his rounds to say “hello” to his guests. You won’t be disappointed.“

“I got the combo with smoked turkey, andouille sausage with sides of collard greens a d mac n cheese. Very very good! Mac is delish and creamy. Greens on point...I make my own and prefer more heat and slight vinegar taste but still one of the better Ive had. Both meats were very good as well....if I had the choice I wouldve had the turkey cut thicker (this was a good cut for a sammy) and I wouldve liked the sausage grilled/charred and just a bit hotter. We were in town so not locals, probably back next year and will definitely return! Fyi we did hit the ice cream side the day before....that was ho hum. Glad we got a chance for dinner tho! Oh. “Friday blackened mahi, jasmine rice and steamed veggies is fantastic! Big, thick piece of fish, the rice is done just right and sauce they put over it very tasty. “Let me start by saying this is a Disney Resort. From the moment you enter the building, the experience begins. The grounds and atmosphere are beautiful. You will feel like you are they on vacation. Some of you might be but I 'm lucky enough to be a local. We had a 5pm reservation and were seated promptly. The host and the server were very friendly and accommodating. For an appetizer the table shared shrimp hush puppies. They were served with tasty sauces to choose from. I also had French onion soup which was cheesy and had a tasty broth and chock full of onions. I had the hamburger which was cooked perfectly and all of the extra ingredients it was a taste sensation. My wife had the NY Strip which was cooked to perfection and according to her, very delicious. For dessert we had the bread pudding and termasu. Both were very good. Overall, I would recommend checking it out whether you are a hotel guest or just a local like myself.“

“This is hidden gem in a very small town in Fellsmere. We have actually eaten there several times over the years. Tried it again last week and had one of the best meals ever. I had the blackened catfish lunch with black eyed peas and okra, yum. Most of their food is southern style. My husband had the chicken with baked beans and mashed potatoes. Our friends who had never been there tried the frog legs and the BLT. No one was disappointed. The service was good and this historic building did not disappoint.“

“We were in from North Brevard for a soccer game and stopped here for lunch. It was later about 300p. So between lunch and dinner service it wasn't too busy. The establishment was very clean. One of the few I've ever been in that the AC vents and returns were not caked with dust above my head. I fact, I didn't see any dust on them. There were lots of TVs to watch if you wanted. Our server was a very nice gentleman and keep our drinks filled and did a great job. We struck up some small talk with him. My son had the old bay wings and said they were the best he's ever had, and he gets them in a lot if different places. I had the medium wings. They were also very good, the sauce was delicious. Could have had a little bit more on there, but it didn't detract from them. The wings were fresh and hot, and meaty. My wife had chicken tenders and said they were good. Would love to stop here again when we are in the area.“

Shout out to Palm Bay Sonny's for its cleanliness and to Marquez (sp) for the best service.I could not decide exactly what I wanted, so I ordered a sampler, which is a little of all the meats (chicken, ribs, brisket, pulled pork) and two sides. This was enough for more than 2 meals for me. Everything was very tasty in the meat department without being overly salty. The baked beans are very yummy with that southern tang, as is the coleslaw. And I am not a fan of restaurant coleslaw.The great service would have made up for some of the food lacking, but none of it was here. Whatever you're doing at this location, keep on bringing it!“
