“This is a pretty cool, primarily outside, spot for comfort food. The food could be referred to as bar food, but it was good! It got pretty busy, so the server forgot my 2nd beer for a while. Not good for a server, no matter how busy it is. She got close to the time I would just send it back. That also cuts heavily into the tip, amount and %age!“

Very good food, checks all the boxes of a good burger, I suggest unless u have a very large mouth and hands. Do not get an extra patty on your burger as I did, because the patties are very thick and makes it a monster of a burger when it’s already pretty big. Very good service. Our waiter Paige had excellent energy, amazing social skills, and great efficiency when waiting on us and others from what I saw. I “made my own”burger, and got a side of parm fries and it was so good. My mother which was there with me Got their lobster burger with a side of parm fries and she said it was amazing. And I also got one of their lava cakes in house which Paige doctored up with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel and fudge drizzle in which Paige was excited I ordered in rather than to go because “she enjoys dr’ing it up” clearly a lady who loves the food, loves her job and doesn’t well. “Hemingway's Tavern is always a good experience. We always enjoy the decorations and lively atmosphere, but be warned it can get quite noisy. For those with noise sensitivity, I suggest to sit outside or find another restaurant. Shout out to our server, Sai: he was easy going and attentive.We started with the Smoked Fish Dip, a favorite, and pairs nicely with the locally brewed beer, Intracoastal Dragon Point. I had the Key West Bowl with pulled pork. Everything was delicious. My husband decided for the Big Game burger, which was perfectly grilled, but the most impressive dish was my mom's. She ordered the Osso Bucco. It was beautifully plated, the pork was fork tender and delicious. The mashed potato and veggies rounded out the meal perfectly. It was a very generous serving, easily feeding 2 people. It was pricey, $32, but worth it and we had left-overs for another meal.We'll definitely dine here again. The food and service has been consistently good. It can get quite busy; we arrived just before 5 and we were seated right away, but within the hour it was filling up quickly.“

“My vegetarian sister and I came here for lunch. She had been here once with her ex husband and said the company was much better this time. We got the crispy spring rolls, Singaporean noodles, curry vegetables, Thai iced tea, and cheesecake. Everything was tasty, and it was on par with the many good vegan restaurants I've been to. They also seem to have a low turnover in staff so something is working well there.They have what they call a Beachside Omelet on the menu that is excellent and always well prepared. We had the Vault Room reserved for the event and it was so nicely decorated and offered tons of seating options. We had a dedicated server for the event and he was extremely efficient and very friendly. Everyone had great things to say about the food, atmosphere, and service. Communication leading up to the event was also extremely easy and everyone that we interacted with before and during the event was very friendly. “We just got off a 7 day cruise in Miami and drove to Melbourne to have Shrimp and Grits at Squid Lips. Sadly it’s no longer on the menu. Being from WI I don’t find Shrimp and Grits very often so needless to say I was bummed. So we got on the Google and searched for Shrimp and Grits. Our search lead us here to the Broken Egg Cafe. “Double Tapp Grill- Melbourne 4.5 Stars In my very younger years I served as what is now known as a "first responder." The term double tapp comes from the order of your training officer to place two bullets center mass to the chest of your adversary. The connotation as it applies to this restaurant is apropos. The Double Tapp Grill is really an ancillary afterthought to the gun shoppe and gun range attached to this Eatery. While the range and gun store are filled with people deluded by the Babbittry of their lives, little do they know the exquisite taste delights that exist just a few feet away. The menu here is unique I ordered fried cheese curds, gator tail and frog legs. The curds were fried and I knew immediately they had been prepared on premises. The batter is light and allows the flavor of the cheese to shine. The frog legs were light fried with no batter. I found this to be original because usually cooks turn them into chicken wings but here they were quick fried, then daintily covered in a mango habanero sauce that had the proper balance and depth of flavor. The gator tail however was the real star. Alligator essentially always bland. Gideon, the chef at Double Tapp, has created a dredge that knocks your socks off. It is full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I could have eaten another order they are so good. The owners of this restaurant really care about their food quality and it is so nice to see. Bravo!!! “Mash Hoagies- Palm Bay- 3 Stars As I left MASH Hoagies in Palm Bay, full but not completely satisfied, I couldn't help but think of the late, great Rodney Dangerfield who once said, "I get no respect, I tell ya. The way my luck is running, if I was a politician, I would be honest." That is exactly how Sonny, the owner of MASH Hoagie's struck me. He is an honest, hard-working fellow, who wants nothing but to make the best product he can for his customers. Unfortunately, circumstances beyond his control prevent him from doing just that. Wanting to grasp the ever-elusive American Dream, Sonny purchased MASH Hoagies less than two months ago and is giving it the old college try. Sadly, it would appear, he is dying on the vine so to speak. Running a restaurant is a tough enough industry in which to find success, add to that buying a place with "meh" reviews to begin with and you have your work cut out for you. This eatery has everything you want in a casual dining experience: a clean, well lit, spacious dining area (including outdoor seating) and a friendly, helpful, motivated, on point staff. The only thing missing here is quality meats. I am sure that Sonny bought the place with the meat distributor already in place. Being a new owner, I don't blame him for sticking with them while he gets his feet wet in the marketplace. However, that time has long passed and it is time he moves beyond the shredded, pressed, sliced and processed meats (ala Subway and Jersey Mike's) and goes with a real meat distributor like Boar's Head or Deli Master's. I ordered "The Colonel Blake" as I never really got over Radar's infamous line, "I have a message. Lieutenant Colonel ... Henry Blake's plane ... was shot down ... over the Sea of Japan. It spun in ... there were no survivors." and I felt I needed the closure. I continued small talk with the engaging owner as he handcrafted my sub so that I could, in my own small way, say,"Abyssinia," to Col. Blake. The first thing that caught my eye was the way Sonny cuts the bread for his sandwiches; akin to how Subway originally cut theirs, he "scoops" out the top and makes a long bread bowl in which to ply his craft. He then expertly lays the ingredients down with care and genuine passion for his food. The green, crisp lettuce is placed on the bottom, followed by garden fresh tomatoes and then the whole kit and caboodle heads south with the introduction of the processed meat food product stacked high -- all topped off with your selection of sliced cheese. Everything was great, except, as noted before, the processed meats. If Sonny gets a new meat distributor I'll be back, meanwhile, The Big Boy says, "It's not bad if you're in a pinch and it has a great owner, but your food dollar would be better spent elsewhere.“
