“Went on August 6, 2025. The food is in the $30's -$50 range per plate. A few more than that. I had the Italian seafood special with shrimps, scallops,mushrooms and a fish fillet over linguine. It was amazing including my caesar salad so good. Cozy environment with a live pianist playing. Very busy place so be prepared to wait.“

“We definitely like food and are kinda foodies. This place was phenomenal! We got the filet and the lobster, Mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes. All was wonderful! The atmosphere was terrific, comfy chairs and tables in a relaxed and quiet environment, while still maintaining a Nice elegance. Service was great as well. Would def recommend!“

““ Went in around happy hour for girls night on Thursday, ordered a Mojito. It did not have any mint or enough alcohol. It seemed watered down. The bartender dicey that night seemed upset as we told our waiter we didn’t like the drinks. Felt super uncomfortable. They had a full bar only one person making drinks for the whole restaurant. Happy hour menu was great however, no complaints on the food at all. Flat bread & bang bang shrimp was out of this world. But the service and quality control was easily overlooked, 2 stars.“

“We stayed at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa for 2 nights - we had 3 meals at Council Oak. Once in the dining room and twice at the bar. All I can say is WOW. The food was excellent and the service was the best I have seen in years anywhere... Everyone was attentive.. Smiling.. Made us feel like they were there for us! My wife and I are still taking about it. Great Job!!“

“It has been years since I went to a longhorn, but this experience was absolutely amazing. Although we made reservations in advance for a party of 25 we still had to wait over an hour to be seated. Probably due to the fact that it was a Friday evening and the elderly like to come out for early bird specials. Once seated our group service was on point. Matt our server for our group has a great attitude, very interactive and attentive. Orders were taken promptly for drinks and appetizers. Food orders for kids and everyone was also filled rather quickly considering the place was packed. The food was great; good portions, taste and very satisfying. The manager also did a great job coming to check on things after we were seated but also kept us up-to-date on the status of waiting to be seated. Great experience overall! 🥳“

He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and had perfect timing—never hovering, but always there right when we needed a refill or a recommendation. Service like that is rare and truly elevated the entire evening. Both the rib-eye and the sirloin were phenomenal. They were seasoned to perfection and cooked exactly to the requested temperature. The rib-eye was rich and marbled, while the sirloin was impressively tender and flavorful. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender with a glaze that struck the perfect balance between sweet and savory. You can’t skip the loaded potatoes—they didn't skimp on the toppings. And the crispy Brussels sprouts were a standout; perfectly charred with just the right amount of crunch. Between the world-class steaks and Alex’s exceptional service, this was a 5-star experience through and through. We will definitely be back!“

“Food was good and staff were friendly. I haven’t been to this restaurant in a few years and probably won’t go back any time soon as I found the decor hasn’t changed much and the menu doesn’t have too many options. Overall a nice dining experience but nothing special.“
