“Love this Breakfast spot! My family and I have been several times and are always pleased with the food and service. The menu is very traditional with combos of eggs, pancakes, and bacon and lunches of burgers and blts. They are quick to serve the food and never disappoint with coffee refills! If you're ever in town with a craving for a traditional American breakfast for reasonable prices, this is the place to go!“

“The atmosphere is a great place to start. Hip and stylish yet cozy and friendly. The menu is aesthetically pleasing and contains uniquely named items. The item of choice for me was My Boy Bleu with a side of their Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese. Everything was delicious and well prepared. The chicken was tender, as good chicken should be. I'd highly recommend Love Bird to anyone looking for something out of the norm.“

“Absolutely excellent meal, service, and atmosphere. Very attentive server, but not overly attentive. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday, and Waco was perfect for the occasion. I had the lamb chop special, and it was cooked to perfection with large portions. Also, the price was quite reasonable. Looking forward to coming back!“

“We had another excellent breakfast at The Egg Factory on Combee in Lakeland. The service is always friendly and professional. This place has a super homey feel like you are family. The food is real good - I had the Messy Jessy Skillet bowl - Home fries topped with 2 eggs, sauteed onions, peppers, sausage topped with gravy and Cheddar. It also comes with choice of bread - I had the biscuit toasted on the grill (the only way to go). Then added a side of bacon. I have enough for two more breakfasts. This is one of our go to places for breakfast in Lakeland - give it a try next time you are in Lakeland for breakfast.“

“We were seated immediately upon walking in. Staff was very friendly. My hubby really enjoyed the Lamb chops with broccoli and cheese. It was cooked perfectly and tasted so good. I had the Grand Caesar salad with chicken and it was huge and tasted fantastic. Our server, Mattie was attentive and prompt. The manager thanked us for coming as we were leaving. We will definitely come again.“

“First time i went to fresh kitchen it was okay, my chicken was burnt and the sauces weren’t good. I decided to go back with my boyfriend because we wanted healthy food, let me tell you I am impressed. The food was delicious and the ginger sauce was way better than the first time i tried it. The price point is amazing and way cheaper than SoFresh! I had the sweet tea and it was so good, it’s not overly sugary. The citrus chicken wasn’t burnt and the almond chicken was so good. Definitely will be going back.“

“I had what may have been one of the best sandwiches in my life today, and absolutely the best sandwich I've ever had in lakeland, at the Black and Brew on Lake Morton. I got the club and took the chance of substituting gluten-free bread, which I usually don't like at all. But it really worked with the sandwich, and there was just such an explosion of other flavors that it's hard to describe. “We have been here a few times now and every time the food has been great. They have a good drink menu also. It has a relaxed feel when you sit down and eat. “The food and drinks were amazing! We ordered a burger, the catfish dinners, and an appetizer with these chips and BBQ pork on them, and they were phenomenal! Not to mention, our bartender Barry was pretty great with his dry sense of humor and great attention to detail. The owner, Carrie, came out and spoke with our group and showed us the place, and shared all the history of the building. They helped save this building from being torn down it's one of the oldest two story buildings left in Bartow. Definitely recommend!“

“On Friday I looked for healthy options on eating cause I started my diet, I looked on doordash and notice SoFresh which is a healthy food restaurant so I notice that I can create my bowl which I love to choose my own options so I being the first time purchaser I kinda went crazy on my bowl as you can tell from the picture. “Was in town watching dogs for someone, and saw that this place A) exists and B) has cheesesteaks. I will try a cheesesteak anywhere, even if gunfire is happening around me. Thankfully, this restaurant is in a no fire zone. But for this sandwich, it would be worth the risk and the added expense of kevlar. I kid you not, their “Awesome Philly Sub” is that and more. I can’t remember eating a better cheesesteak in 2 decades, and I’ve most certainly tried. Two thumbs up isn’t quite enough… I’ll have to borrow some extra thumbs from my enemies to add to the score. Highly recommended! And I’m a cheesesteak snob… they conquered my appetite and I’ll most definitely be back when I’m out this way again. If you live in Lakeland and love sandwiches and HAVEN’T TRIED THIS PLACE, you are missing out and are making a bald eagle cry. I can’t prove that second one, but it sounds legit.“

“This is hands-down my favorite pizza restaurant I’ve been to. I’m from Niagara Falls, so I googled Buffalo style pizza place and this was what came up. This was a 60 mile drive from Springhill to Lakeland and it was worth every second. The owner was a wonderful guy, and the pizza gave me flashbacks to my childhood. If you want a taste of Western New York and you live in Florida come here, you won’t regret it.“

“oday we stopped in at A&B Restaurant for lunch. When we pulled in the small parking lot made it feel like we might not find a table, but they had plenty of tables so don't be put off by the small parking lot. If I say they have the absolute best food I have had at a diner in two years I would be not saying enough. I started with the best clam chowder soup I have had in a very long time - not too thick, not too thin just right, perfect clam taste with great flavor - wow! Then I had the pork tenderloin sandwich - too big for one person - perfectly prepared and full of juicy pork goodness, accompanied with wonderful hot seasoned French fries. My wife had the French dip - she also took half home - she told me this was the best French Dip sandwich she has ever had. I finished with their homemade peach cobbler served warm with ice cream - just wonderful. The service as great, food the best we have had in two years. We will be back for sure.“

“I stopped in for breakfast. I had the chicken fried steak, eggs, home fries and grits. The chicken fried steak was smothered in sausage gravy and it was great. I had a full bowl of grits and they were perfect. The food was great and plenty of it. No small portions here. I loved the man-sized coffee cup. When I took a sip of my coffee I actually felt like I was holding something and I didn't need to keep asking for a refill! I recommend this place for breakfast.“

“My wife and I started going to Herby's for breakfast 6 weeks ago. Great food, Great service and friendly staff. We went for lunch today for the first time and had the Schnitzel, it was great! “The name lets you know what to expect. The beer selection was okay. I opted for the green 'gansett for St Patrick's day. A little heavy on the green. Second beer was an IPA. Both had massive heads. Service was decent, Delaney was there every time we needed her. We each ordered a wrap: Barbie for her, mahi for me. The mahi wrap was on the small side. My small order of fries, however, was enormous. And tasty. It's a sports bar, so decor consists of TVs tuned to baseball, golf, basketball, etc. All in all, a pretty good choice and only 0.3 miles from our hotel.“

“Overall amazing experience. My fiancé and I came in on a Wednesday night, we were seated promptly and our food was delivered quickly. I got the ribeye with parmesan cheese crust and he got the lamb chops with the cheese crust. Both 10/10- cooked to perfection. Our server Carla, was the most attentive and sweetest and provided EXCEPTIONAL service . I still had half my drink and she kept the refills coming. “Holy crab cake! I decided to give this food truck a go at the Johns Pass Seafood Festival and glad I did. The crab cake was huge and cooked perfectly. Tons of flavor. I don't ever say "it's the best of [blank] I've ever had but this one deserves the award for crab cakes. Will make the effort to search their truck out in the future!“

Tables are nicely space, so it was a great place to catch up with a friend and chat for a while and be able to hear each other talk. “My grandmother and I arrived and were sat promptly. The first thing I took notice of was the atmosphere. Walkin' on Sunshine was playing, putting me in an elated mood. I sat in a booth not too far, yet not too close, to the entrance. I could sit and people watch and ponder people's lives and our inevitable deaths and impending end of the world. The seats were so plush and I sunk deeper than the great sinkhole of Winter Parks. The seats were so comfortable. So comfortable I willingly suffered the ire of my mother for not coming to find her after she and my brother came to meet us. Twas' her fault for not arriving on time in the first place. Harrumph! We sat and ordered appetizers, specifically the Trio Sampler™ and it was delicious aside from the fact that my brother made is subject to his experiments and concoctions consisting of Pico de Gallo, Nacho Cheese and Beef, and Spinach and Sour Cream, as well as Chicken Tenders and Tortilla Chips. Thankfully I survived, hence why you are able to read this now. I had seasoned broccoli, and it was adequately seasoned. I'm black and southern, so you know I know what I'm talking about ?. Anyways my brother suffered from the generous amount of mushrooms on his Philly Cheese Steak (I manifested for karma to strike him down and it was promptly answered if his extended bathroom trip is anything to go by. He's sensitive to mushrooms but that never stopped him ?). We ate our food without any further problems. My grandmother expressed her authority over alcohol by stating that no one is permitted to drink if she can't. Alas, I didn't get, as the people say, "white girl wasted". I was so full I could bust after eating all the appetizers. I have half a rack of ribs left and a broccoli and Cheese Casserole (Highly recommend btw. *Chef's Kiss*?). We sat and we discussed life, as well as plotted our evil deeds and debauchery. Just another day as usual. Point is 10/10, would recommend! Especially for casual meeting and discussions regarding villanhood and Pettiness ™ (Everyone minds their business ?)“

“Just left here and witnessed a total "karen".Maritza, the manager was covering the bartow location due to the original manager being out. Martiza and A cook were there to run the entire store. Not only was she the manager, she was the host, server, cashier, busser, and everything in-between. She was doing the absolute BEST one person with so many roles could possibly do. All was well until "karen" walked in for her togo food. Maritza nicely explained to her she was the only one doing it all and would be with her as soon as she could. She had tables to take, food to run and all the things. "Karen" didn't like that and begin to be extremely rude. Huffing and puffing and talking about how she could " have her job in 2 seconds." Even my 8 year old son couldn't believe how terrible she was being to her. Needless to say, myself and other customers were baffled and encouraged maritza she was doing great and we appreciated her eventhough "karen" was a total snot! ?Anyway, Maritza and cook were very friendly and provided excellent service! I hope they don't have to encounter that lady again! I'll definitely return! Thanks guys!“

“You can't beat this lace. It's one of our favorite restaurants. All home cooked food. Servers are extremely friendly and attentive. The atmosphere brings you back to the 60'd and 60's. Always bring friends and family from out of town to this favorite restaurant of ours.“

“I was told to come here and try the burgers. Not disappointed. Good char. Good temp on the meat as requested. Good portion size. Good value. Great staff. It's a good cross between a sports bar and a dive bar. The burgers, only thing we tried, elevated beyond expectations. I will definitely come back. The tacky bathroom (cut up old kegs for urinals) is an understandable attempt at being unique. Unfortunately that's a fail. I would recommend that they concentrate on what they do well, and neaten up the decor. This place could be awesome.“
