“The service here is really great and all of the sushi is delicious. However, I find the pricing of single pieces of nigiri and sashimi to be way over priced for the quality. For example, one piece of salmon nigiri is $7 and one piece of o toro tuna is $15. No where else in Miami are prices that high except for fine dining. Down the road at katana you can get two pieces of better quality sashimi for less than the price of one piece here. So if coming I recommend sticking to their rolls instead of ordering their sashimi or nigiri.“

“When we walked up the door was locked but the staff quickly came and unlocked it. I’m not sure if it’s locked for safety or if they just opened? The inside is clean and quiet. We ordered hummus and chicken tikka masala. The price was a bit outrageous once we saw it was $19.99 for 6 pieces of chicken. The hummus was delicious.“

I had salmon all around, and it was the freshest I've had by far... you can visit after the beach or on a fancy date it is just so versatile definitely will visit again. “We stumbled in here for lunch, exploring the neighborhood. At first, I thought the menu for lunch was too small perhaps with too many ingredients for each dish. Clearly my mistake. This kitchen really knows how to combine ingredients for incredible flavor and balance. It’s clear that the chef has put a lot of thought into each of these dishes, without them being fussy or overly wrought. The sweet potato bowl was an explosion of flavors and incredibly satisfying. Even though we were full, I insisted on trying both desserts. The house made vanilla ice cream with rum was one of the best vanillas I’ve ever had and their take on the Pavlova, well, I would come back just for that. Maria provided knowledgeable and attentive service and the overall vibe of the place will bring us back for dinner soon, bravo, Flora..“

“Nice atmosphere m, staff was great, and food was delicious. The mimosa was as big as my head.. lol However, it was $19. I wish there would have been a smaller size option as I have a very small stomach due to weight loss surgery. With the $19 mimosa I also got a coffee, eggs with cheese and bacon with a bagel to go for my friend. With tip the bill was $60. Now I realize I’m in South Beach, but I think that is a little excessive for breakfast. Lunch and dinner I understand.“

“I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job!
