“First time trying this spot since moving to the Oldsmar area and most certainly will be back. Some of the better Chinese take out I've had in quite some time. House Lo mein came STUFFED, seasoned, fresh. Egg rolls fresh and crispy. Would recommend trying to anyone.“

Evening finding an okay Chinese place is hard, but my go to was closed on Monday. I read Happy China was a popular pick on Door Dash so we tried it. THIS WAS THE BEST TAKE OUT CHINESE I HAVE EVER HAD. We ordered entrees and apps and everything we have was made with love, warm, packaged well, and a nice portion. “What a welcome surprise—out doing errands and decided to try some local Chinese food. Some of the best Hot & Sour Soup and very tasty Steamed Dumplings. Usually we do take out and New Bamboo is an excellent choice for that. I especially like the shrimp dishes . They are big and taste fresh.The portions are large and it is prepared traditionally. “First time trying this little restaurant on Gunn Highway - very pleasantly surprised. The food is very tasty and we will be returning.

Vegetarian options: I ordered the mixed vegetables and they were very tasty and a good variety. Lots of broccoli, snow peas, onions, mushrooms, carrots not the usual baby corn and celery. I asked for a bit of heat to the dish and they were happy to comply.

“I have eaten at Kang's Garden infrequently (maybe a couple times each year) since 2021. The previous owner had great food and used to give both soup and an egg roll with a combination meal. Unfortunately, this deal no longer exists, however the new staff is always friendly, professional, and prepares the food promptly. Admittedly, the food was a bit salty/oily for my taste, but was pretty good overall in terms of flavor. The general space inside is fairly similar to other Chinese takeout places. They dont skimp on portions, but thy could give you at least 3 bags of noodles for a quart of soup, 1 bag doesn't cut it. As for the inside, they have a few tables, but it can be so much more. I am an egg foo Yung snob. The gravy, to me, is the essence of it. China tastes taken me back to living up north again. (No offense to my southern brethren)
But, the gravy should be a rich, dark brown, just as I get here. Not some off yellow color, as I've seen many times.
My wife got the orange chicken. She stated the best she's ever had. You can actually taste the pieces of orange peel!!! The vegetable fried rice was rich and vibrant with fresh vegetables....even after my hour long travel to spring hill. Thank you, my friends at China taste...I obviously have forgotten my culinary gem in south tampa. Yes, it is that!!! I will be back, often!!!“

“Just got our first delivery from here. Solid take out that came in less than 45 minutes on a Friday night at 7pm. We eat our fair share of a Chinese food and this was different in good ways. General Tso's chicken be has was fresh and not overly breaded. The steamed dumplings were light & flavorful... Not that thick, doughy stuff were used to. House special soup seemed like it was just made. Fresh veggies, wonton that were light like the dumplings, not even remotely overly salty like most we've had. This will definitely be our rainy, movie night go to place!“

“The inside looks like your typical Chinese restaurant. The food was pretty good. I must say my mother and I enjoyed it. We went in for a quick bite after I got a haircut. The general TSO chicken is really good. The wonton soup is delicious, and the pork egg rolls are OK. The Workers are super nice, and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and they seem to be doing a pretty good business. There was a lot of people coming in for takeout. I would definitely order from there again. Their prices are definitely good and even though it was 3:08 PM. They allowed me to order off the lunch menu which ends at 3 o’clock, that was super nice of them.
