“First time trying this spot since moving to the Oldsmar area and most certainly will be back. Some of the better Chinese take out I've had in quite some time. House Lo mein came STUFFED, seasoned, fresh. Egg rolls fresh and crispy. Would recommend trying to anyone.“

“I really love the food here. It’s the closest Chinese food that I have found that is almost similar to the Chinese food in Philadelphia, which is where I am from. I have tried a lot of other Chinese food restaurants out here, and this happens to be the best one yet. I have only ordered deliveries from this restaurant. I have not sat in an ate there. So I do not know what the service or the atmosphere is like. I can say they always deliver on time, and the food is always hot and Delicious. This place is my go to Chinese restaurant. My family and I Order from here often. If you’re a Chinese food lover, like I am, you should definitely give this place a chance. They’re General Tso chicken, Beef lo mein, and their pork fried rice is one of many amazing dishes along with many others. I’m not really a big fan of their fried scallops though. Vegetarian options: They make a lot of dishes where only vegetables are included, and the food still taste absolutely delicious, for example, their vegetable lo mein, vegetable fried rice, and vegetable egg rolls etc. are fire! The food is absolutely delicious even if you’re a vegetarian or not.“

“If the air conditioners not working, you should tell people before you sit them down. I shouldn't have to say it's hot in here and then you tell me. Server was okay. I think she forgot about us every once in awhile. Place was not loaded with people. Food was really good. In fact, it was probably better than in the past.“

“We were a party of 6 and everything was perfect the service, ambience, and food with the exception of the crab Rangoon We order crab Rangoon practically every Chinese restaurant we go to but this one was fishy tasting. “Listen, I came into Pei Wei at Westshore a simple, hungry human being — and I left a changed man. A man who now dreams in spicy, glorious visions of Kung Pao Chicken.

First bite? Fireworks. Not the Fourth of July kind — more like the “your mouth is now throwing a full-on rave and forgot to tell your brain” kind. I don’t know what ancient sorcery the chef back there is practicing, but that Kung Pao Chicken hit harder than my Wi-Fi bill after a Netflix binge.

The chicken was tender like it had been serenaded for hours before it ever saw a wok. The sauce? A perfect storm of heat, sweet, and “oh dear God, someone hold me.” The peanuts added a crunch so satisfying, I’m pretty sure I made audible noises that scared a family two tables over.

Service was fast and friendly, like they could sense I was teetering on the edge of starvation and culinary enlightenment at the same time. They handed me my meal with a smile that said, “We know what’s about to happen to you. And we approve.”

If you don’t like spicy food, that’s fine — order it anyway and become a better person. Personal growth tastes like Kung Pao Chicken, and I have no regrets.

“We come to this Chinese restaurant 2-3 times a month. Solid wonton soup, chicken and rice, fried rice, honey chicken, sweet and sour chicken, lo Mein, vegetable lo Mein, egg rolls, spring rolls, spare ribs. These have all consistently been good.“

“This place isn't much to look at and the inside looks like a package store, but the food is excellent and many different choices. The staff is great,I'm disabled and they really take care of me. Try it once, you'll be back.

“First time trying this little restaurant on Gunn Highway - very pleasantly surprised. The food is very tasty and we will be returning.

Vegetarian options: I ordered the mixed vegetables and they were very tasty and a good variety. Lots of broccoli, snow peas, onions, mushrooms, carrots not the usual baby corn and celery. I asked for a bit of heat to the dish and they were happy to comply.

Parking: Easy to park, just pulled up in front of the restaurant. Very easy access.“

“Right off Bat, I like their online ordering. 2. They don't try to Gouge the Customer for 2-6$ tips. China One, tries to Gouge you $15.00s in tip , fees and charges. You get one dish and it's over $30.00s.. I 100% endorse this company. They don't try to rip you off like China one... The food is great here, and they always give us lots of extras. “Had a rough day yesterday and we were too overwhelmed to cook. I don’t usually like eating out because I’m a pretty good cook myself. I’m often disappointed with eating out. Evening finding an okay Chinese place is hard, but my go to was closed on Monday. I read Happy China was a popular pick on Door Dash so we tried it. THIS WAS THE BEST TAKE OUT CHINESE I HAVE EVER HAD. We ordered entrees and apps and everything we have was made with love, warm, packaged well, and a nice portion. I am an egg foo Yung snob. The gravy, to me, is the essence of it. China tastes taken me back to living up north again. (No offense to my southern brethren)
But, the gravy should be a rich, dark brown, just as I get here. Not some off yellow color, as I've seen many times.
My wife got the orange chicken. She stated the best she's ever had. You can actually taste the pieces of orange peel!!! The vegetable fried rice was rich and vibrant with fresh vegetables....even after my hour long travel to spring hill. I ordered the szechuan (?) chicken with hot and sour soup, white rice and egg roll. best soup, the egg roll was crisp, hot and delicious, entree was ample and yummy. . “Good authentic Chinese food. Portions are sufficient for 2 people or leftovers. Family owned and operated. Been going here for take-out about a year and always had a good experience. Food is cooked when ordered so it is always fresh and hot. The steamed dumplings are worth trying. Dining room is a little old and dated but the food makes up for it and is affordable.“
