We were in town for my daughter's graduation and wanted some shrimp egg foo young that evening, Mrs Patty Li and her husband did an outstanding job with food. Shockingly, we both have the same name, and we gave each other a warm hug! 🖤 Thank you for making the food so good to where I thought I was at home baby! “I have been coming to this China One for years. Religiously my favorite Chinese place but no more. I ordered delivery as I normally do and I'm missing an item my General Tso's chicken. I placed the order on the China One online ordering system not through Uber not through doordash. They did apologize and then told me to contact Uber or doordash I explained I got the order through their online portal. To which I was told I would need to reach out to Uber who doesn't have my order because I used the China One portal. So now part of my family doesn't get their order and they lost a long time dedicated customer. **UPDATE**The location refunded me for the delivery and the general tso's chicken.I can appreciate the effort made on behalf of the location. Ill continue ordering from here they really do have some of the best chinese food in clearwater. I will just either order through doordash or Uber from now on, or go pick it up myself. Thanks for doing what you could to make it right!“

“As someone who is very picky of their Chinese food, there are only 2 places within this area that I like. This being one of them. Their food is good and as close to the Chinese food I remember from the northeast, so their NY style is accurate. Some Chinese restaurants around here are terrible. Give them a try or go to PF Changs and support a greedy corporation instead of family owned small business.“

“I would just like to take a moment to acknowledge how great the customer service is here. I order from here often, usually through DoorDash. Well I had issues tonight with my driver, nothing the restaurant did, DoorDash drivers just weren’t so kind or accommodating. The lady I spoke to, I believe she’s the owner but I don’t recall - she went above and beyond for me. The food here is incredible and that’s coming from someone who is very picky with how Chinese food is made. Despite all the issues I had, my food came HOT and delicious as usual. If you are ever in the area, try this place. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Thank you again!“

“I lived in the Carrollwood/Citrus Park area for about 11 years and China Wok was always our go-to Chinese place. This isn't a restaurant where you would likely want to sit and eat although you can. They are best suited for take-out and delivery and they were always quite reliable and consistently good. Portions are good-sized and ingredients always fresh. China Wok was always sensitive to and delivered on special requirements- leaving out certain ingredients or adjusting recipes to meet taste or dietary needs.

The girl at the counter was very welcoming. While I was eating, I noticed several customers who only spoke Spanish coming in to order, and she patiently helped them order what they needed. “kang's garden is by far one of the best Chinese food restaurants in Tampa. I'm a New Yorker so it's very hard to find really good authentic Chinese food. Kang's garden gets a 10 out of 10. “My favorite Chinese spot. We practically go here every Friday or every other Friday. The lo mein is so delicious. It’s a perfect amount of savory. We love their crab rangoon and my husband loves their chicken wings. Even if you’re just in the mood for fried chicken, literally just go here and get the fried chicken. It’s great. “Was debating between this and Sarku Japan, but the lady handing out free samples swung me to China 88 and I’m glad she did! The chicken is delicious and very meaty. I was concerned the general Tso would be too bready, but it had plenty of meat unlike a certain panda themed Asian chain that sells fried bread with sauce and calls it orange ‘chicken’. The Mongolian chicken (the forked one in the pic lol) was very savory and the sauce had really good flavor. The spicy bourbon had a nice kick to it, but I would’ve liked it more if it was a little spicier. I got the 3 meat plate combo with sautéed veggies as well as 2 sugar biscuits for $18, which I think is a solid deal for what I got. Generous portions and the lady was really nice.
