“I drive 25 minutes , passing half a dozen other Chinese restaurants to get take out from Chef Li. Everyone is very helpful and friendly, food is made with fresh ingredients and large portions. And my order is always prepared quickly.
Best General Tso Chicken anywhere! They use large pieces of white meat chicken, lightly breaded. Parking can be a little tough on Friday and Saturday nights because they are next to Whiskey Wings so be aware. 5⭐️'s , A+“

Well I had issues tonight with my driver, nothing the restaurant did, DoorDash drivers just weren’t so kind or accommodating. The lady I spoke to, I believe she’s the owner but I don’t recall - she went above and beyond for me. The food here is incredible and that’s coming from someone who is very picky with how Chinese food is made. Despite all the issues I had, my food came HOT and delicious as usual. “New Bamboo knows Dinner Dreams are made of rice and spice! We order here regularly. Fast fresh and friendly take out or dine in! This review is overdue. The path to happiness is paved with noodles. Our latest order was devoured so fast there’s no pictures. It was my first time getting the egg foo young and it won’t be my last. It was chocked full of veggies. The tofu is always on point and the broccoli with garlic sauce has just the right spice. The homemade hot mustard is kicky and delicious. My husband usually likes the sweet and sour chicken because it’s a good portion and he likes the sweet sauce. This time we tried, doughnuts, spring rolls, sesame tofu, veggie egg foo young, broccoli with garlic sauce and chicken lo mein! We’re soy lucky to have them near!“

“I lived in the Carrollwood/Citrus Park area for about 11 years and China Wok was always our go-to Chinese place. This isn't a restaurant where you would likely want to sit and eat although you can. They are best suited for take-out and delivery and they were always quite reliable and consistently good. Portions are good-sized and ingredients always fresh. China Wok was always sensitive to and delivered on special requirements- leaving out certain ingredients or adjusting recipes to meet taste or dietary needs.

If you live in the area, I highly recommend China Wok for take out and delivery as I found it was the best Chinese restaurant in the area.“

“kang's garden is by far one of the best Chinese food restaurants in Tampa. I'm a New Yorker so it's very hard to find really good authentic Chinese food. Kang's garden gets a 10 out of 10. I normally get the bourbon chicken and my daughter gets lo mein. we've tried all of the appetizers I have to say that they are all on point! “Was debating between this and Sarku Japan, but the lady handing out free samples swung me to China 88 and I’m glad she did! The chicken is delicious and very meaty. I was concerned the general Tso would be too bready, but it had plenty of meat unlike a certain panda themed Asian chain that sells fried bread with sauce and calls it orange ‘chicken’. The Mongolian chicken (the forked one in the pic lol) was very savory and the sauce had really good flavor. The spicy bourbon had a nice kick to it, but I would’ve liked it more if it was a little spicier. I got the 3 meat plate combo with sautéed veggies as well as 2 sugar biscuits for $18, which I think is a solid deal for what I got. Generous portions and the lady was really nice. I highly recommend checking them out.“

The girl at the counter was very welcoming. While I was eating, I noticed several customers who only spoke Spanish coming in to order, and she patiently helped them order what they needed. General Tso's chicken be has was fresh and not overly breaded. The steamed dumplings were light & flavorful... Not that thick, doughy stuff were used to. House special soup seemed like it was just made. Fresh veggies, wonton that were light like the dumplings, not even remotely overly salty like most we've had.
