Delish... Real NY fried rice NOT yellow rice. Love all there foods. Shrimp rolls are better then Egg Rolls. Soups are delish.. real chow mein.. if you ask for something special they make it. Always hot and fresh.“

“I am from Chicago and in 25 years have not found any good Chinese or Cantonese food, throughout any part of Florida, that I've been to, from east to west and North to south. This truly is great food and what I was used to in Chicago. The atmosphere is nothing fancy and I like it that way. It is traditional and not ultra modern, and clean.“

“The best Chinese food we've yet to find in Sarasota. We tried shrimp egg foo Yung and shrimp with vegetables. Both had very fresh ingredients and lots of shrimp! Dine in does not include plates - food is served in take out containers. Just a few tables for those who want to dine there. No atmosphere, but delicious nonetheless.“

“Interestingly inconsistent. Ive ordered the same thing, a chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce combo on many occasions. There's been times I've just thrown it in the garbage, but whoever was cooking Saturday May 31st made a fantastic chicken & garlic sauce combo. That guy should teach whoever makes the main stuff on slow days, because that guys food was 100x better. Still got to give it a 4 anyways. Nice people and all that stuff.“

“We picked up takeout from bamboo Garden - under new ownership and it shows! The food is delicious - all your fav NY style Chinese favorites! Be sure to have their Shrimp Egg Rolls and Chinese Donuts! The Mongolian Beef has a great taste.....yummm the BEST! We found the food very fresh and well made. . I highly recommend this place. Great portion sizes and great quality and attention to detail.“

“I just moved here from NJ/NY. My whole life I've been warned the Chinese food and pizza in Florida is trash. Completely untrue as far as Chinese goes. The Wonton soup and boneless ribs are amongst the best ive ever had. Everything else is NY quality, if that is still a compliment.“

“Quite serviceable. Not gourmet sit down fine dining, and tables are basically used by folks waiting for their orders, but excellent for what it is, a strip mall take out joint.

The spice dishes are generally set for an American palate, so I could see someone who has a need for heat being disappointed. (I don't, and I don't know what happens if you ask for it spicy.) Unlike the spice, they do not hold back on the sugar, if it comes with a sweet-ish sauce, it will definitely be quite sweet - i.e. bourbon chicken, even Gen. Tso's is more sweet than hot.

The shop next door is a cigar bar, so for me, it's just as well it's take out. I don't smell it inside, but the sidewalk air is sometimes tainted and on those days I'm happy to let my nose reset on the drive home. And I do drive by a couple other places to get here.

I don't understand the criticism of the egg rolls in some reviews. They may not be outstanding hand rolled gems, and I feel pretty certain they are from the same supplier that services most (all?) of the similar take out places locally, but they are well executed, always fried to order hot, and really rise above with a dab of the hot mustard (not the insipid packets, but the little cups of the "good stuff" - not on menu, just ask).“

“Over 29 years going there and favorites are pork low main and hot and sour soup. Lunch is served now in a smaller round container which is a mistake. Pork, ,noodles, and veggies are packed on top of the rice and this sucks up the excellant sauce. Rice should be on the side of the rest with extra sauce in between. It used to be that way years ago and should go back to that even with less food packed in. The best Chinese food we know in Venice!!!!“

“Love the food and the amazing service. The older gentleman that owns the place runs a tight ship. He’s always courteous and delivers good value for the money. Plus, they are one of the few Chinese restaurants in town that offers a poo poo platter. If you’re looking for a charming environment to eat in, this is not the place. This is more for people that are looking for quality Chinese food that’s either takeout or delivery.“

“This is the chinese restaurant you should eat at. The food and portions are excellent , as well as the remarkable customer service. The first time I went here a few weeks ago I ordered lomein with a special request of extra spicy(which was great) and then a week or so later accidentally ordered chow mein, and the woman behind the counter recognized my extra spicy request and called, waited and made sure i had ordered the right dish... So kind. I also cannot stress enough that the servings are huge. Thank you guys and everyone give this place a try.🙂“

“I don’t typically make food reviews, but I will say this is worth it. The food here is phenomenal. When I finished eating,I was completely stuffed and hardly made a dent in my food. I have at least three meals worth of food left over and I got everything for around $18. The service is relatively fast. I only waited about 10 minutes, which is good because I don’t really have time on my lunch break. 10/10 service and I will definitely be back.“

I’ve also had the fried chicken wings before & those were amazing too! The only thing I will say is that the crab Rangoons are okay, they are tiny. Still giving them 9/10, thank you!“

“We ordered by phone for pick up tonight. The wait was longer than anticipated but it’s Christmas and honestly I was just grateful to find a place that was open. The staff, especially the girl managing the counter/register, was so friendly and maintained calm composure throughout the chaos of so many orders. The food was delicious!!!“

“I had a large carryout order for a staff party and ordered 48 hours in advance. I spoke with the manager by phone due to a language barrier and was able to have my large order with special requests translated to the cooks. I did pay a deposit which was deducted from final payment. All the food was ready on time, staff were helpful and they helped put all the food in the vehicle. The food was Fantastic and Fresh!!! I recommend them for carry-out any time!“
