“I came to visit my grandparents that live close by and they recommended this place to have lunch. The portions were so large that we got full and ate the leftovers for dinner. The food is flavorful and affordable, and the environment is very pleasant. I would recommend to anyone visiting the Altamonte Springs area.“

I went on a Thursday evening - so it was R&B Thursday as well as ladies night, so we got in free before 11. (not sure what the cover normally is)
The music was great; there was a DJ on site, & he played a good variety of older vs newer songs. The waitresses were friendly, and present. The vibe/atmosphere is chill, but sexy. I am 40+, but was out with 30yr olds, & we all fit in just fine. It was full of people, but not too over crowded. If possible, reserve a table.
The drinks were good. The food & drinks prices are comparable to most places I've been.
My only complaint is that I ordered the nachos because I was told that that was one of the only shareable sized things on the menu. But when I received them, they were small single serving portion....but the price hadn't changed. Additionally, they only had like 3 chips on the whole plate, & they were extremely salty.
I would not order the nachos again, but I would DEFINITELY go here if in Orlando again. Overall, they get a thumbs up from me!“

“The group of us dropped by for lunch around 1pm Saturday before going to the movies. I had the Blackened Mahi Tacos; my wife had the Coconut Shrimp Tacos. They were great, and the rest of our group enjoyed their meals as well. Their service prompt and attentive.“

“From the moment I walked in, I know it was going to be on memorial experience and I'd like to say it didn't disappoint. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service was great and the food was beyond excellent. Started off with some Piña Colada with Baileys, for appetizers queso frito con guayaba (fried cheese with guava) some chicharrón(fried pork rinds) with a crunchy skin and the rest once in your mouth was as soft as butter truly unbelievable. Main course was the Roti Kan Kan spectacular and the stuffed chicken breast with plantain wrapped in bacon both came with delicious creamy garlic sauce. This is definitely the place to go if you want a romantic atmosphere or want to impress or just to chill and have a decent dinner and a couple of drinks. Overall you will not be disappointed, this will be my new favorite place to go, definitely worth every penny. This is the first time in 20 years that I give 5 star across the board. “The Bahamian seafood chowder is a must-have. I always enjoy it & it did not disappoint. The soup was a healthier portion than I remember & I was happy it was. For my entree, I ordered coconut shrimp tacos which come with black beans & yellow rice. I have ordered this dish before & enjoyed it. This time was different. The tacos could use more flavor; it had very little sriracha aioli & it needed morel The black beans were not visible; I thought that the server had only brought rice & forgot the beans. Turns out they were buried under a mound of rice. And the beans were more concentrated than I expected. There wasn't any sauce to coat the rice. Normally, I would've asked for more aioli & more beans. But the chowder was filling enough that, after eating one of the 3 tacos I ordered, & 2 forkfuls of the rice w/ beans, I was full. I got a 2-go box with plans to doctor the shrimp tacos with a a spicy sauce I have at home. My husband ordered the salmon salad & he enjoyed it.“

“Just made it home from grabbing dinner here and the Seafood Fried Rice with the La Granja Chicken Bowl were both on our table. Pollo tropical used to be at this address and La Granja seemed to be the best place to replace them. The seafood fried rice is a 9/10 for me only because the first batch had a small piece of hair on the side yet they made a new one with no questions asked. It is a hefty plate for anyone considering it though and the bowl was rated a 7/10 because the sweet plantains were not as fresh as they could be. Random guy walked in at one point and just moved around the lobby then to the bathroom before exiting which caused an awkward environment. This location could see another visit out of us“

“Was hungry and stopped to get an arepa. I have to say it was the best arepa I had in Orlando, it was delicious and so much flavor, my arepa was customized, it had pulled pork, 2 types of cheese and avocado-what a delight. Definitely returning back and also they are open late.“
