After waiting patiently for 1 hour we got up and left. No one approached us to ask why we were leaving. This was our first visit to Big Mamas and will not be returning.”

“We took a 3 hr tour with Anchor Charters and when we got back to the dock CPT Chris said the food here is good. He was right. There were six of us (4 adults/2 children) and there was something for everyone. The calamari was delish and we were surprised by the large portion. The blackened grouper was perfectly seasoned. The jalapeno cheese appetizers were super tasty as well. Everything was delicious and the waitress was excellent. Will be back!”

The rice jambalaya was very dry. Shrimp was sweet..not as in good..I do not advise you to go unless you are there to see them cook fresh ingredients.. I've ordered before a couple of times but it is a hit or miss....I love their chicken livers and gizzards so I'm giving it 5 stars..Ask them for the times they make their chicken.”

Chatted with the owner several times - super nice guy and obviously cares about his business, he is right there side by side working with his employees - this is what GREAT business ownership looks like! “I am a platinum IHG member who stays at this hotel at least once every year. I love everything about this place and it is the only hotel in PCB where I'll ever stay. On some visits, we never leave the hotel because everything you could ever need is right there. My only complaint about my 9/2023 stay is the way we were treated by a member of the hotel staff on our last night. We were walking through the parking lot on our way back from dinner. One member of our party happened to exhale vape smoke in the hotel parking lot. That prompted one of the hotel staff to become very rude and order us to the smoking area. He was so rude that we chose to simply walk past him and not even acknowledge that he was talking to us. I do understand that the hotel is completely smoke free but that staff member could obviously tell from our wristbands that we were hotel guests and could have been a little friendlier toward us. Because I did not want to ruin the last night of our vacation, I chose to let this event slide. However, if another staff member of this hotel is ever rude towards me or any other members of my party during future stays, I will immediately report them to hotel management. After all, my visits help to pay the salaries of the staff members and if I am not treated respectfully, I can find another hotel to support.”

We met the bartender Jamie, who was so kind patient and very helpful with every need. We had to enjoy our meal. We are so very thankful to have met her for the first time and we feel she is very genuine in all that she does. “Alice’s was highly recommend by a local. I had grilled grouper and it was excellent! Best fish dinner I’ve had in a long time. Father-in-law had fried shrimp, also excellent! For desert I had bread pudding with a bourbon sauce, also excellent! I’ll definitely be back again!”

Ah, McDonald’s — the land of golden fries, drive-thru dreams, and late-night cravings. You’ve been there for me at 2 a.m. after a road trip, during toddler tantrums, and on days when cooking feels like an extreme sport. Consistency is key, and you deliver: salty fries, burgers that hit the nostalgia button, and those little Coke cups that somehow taste better than all other Cokes in the world.
BUT — and it’s a sesame seed-covered but — my gluten-free self is out here in the corner munching on hash browns and apple slices like it’s a kindergarten snack. Throw me a (bun-less) bone! A gluten-free burger bun? A nugget made of dreams and rice flour? I’m not asking for filet mignon. Just let me join the party.
Still, four stars for always being there, for being affordable, and for letting me eat fries with zero judgment. I’ll keep coming back... just with my own sad Tupperware sometimes. 😅”
