Such a nice little place! Each time we have visited it has been just fabulous! The food and the waitstaff are superb!! Reanne is absolutely precious! We would steal her away for our own restaurant if we could. The food is always delicious! Hope the owner knows how lucky he is with the staff here. We will continue to return from the other side of bridge for food and drink. Just FYI, we have noticed that the constant bending to go under the bar is awkward for staff the last 3 times we have visited.”

“Our family tried Captain’s Table for the first time this evening and it was one of the best meals we have had in Panama City! Absolutely the best crab claws we’ve had anywhere, the crab and artichoke dip was amazing, and the peel and eat shrimp were huge and sweet. The service was wonderful and our server was so friendly. We talked with the owner and learned a bit about the history of the restaurant and building. It was also one of the shortest wait times we had for the entire week we have been here. 100% will be back! (Oh, and the key lime pie is SOOOOOOO GOOD!)”

Meanwhile over the next 30 minutes several customers arrived and were served drinks and meals. Our server returned a couple of times with excuses why our food wasn't ready. After waiting patiently for 1 hour we got up and left. No one approached us to ask why we were leaving. This was our first visit to Big Mamas and will not be returning.”

The rice jambalaya was very dry. Shrimp was sweet..not as in good..I do not advise you to go unless you are there to see them cook fresh ingredients.. I've ordered before a couple of times but it is a hit or miss....I love their chicken livers and gizzards so I'm giving it 5 stars..Ask them for the times they make their chicken.”

“I am a platinum IHG member who stays at this hotel at least once every year. I love everything about this place and it is the only hotel in PCB where I'll ever stay. On some visits, we never leave the hotel because everything you could ever need is right there. My only complaint about my 9/2023 stay is the way we were treated by a member of the hotel staff on our last night. We were walking through the parking lot on our way back from dinner. One member of our party happened to exhale vape smoke in the hotel parking lot. That prompted one of the hotel staff to become very rude and order us to the smoking area. He was so rude that we chose to simply walk past him and not even acknowledge that he was talking to us. I do understand that the hotel is completely smoke free but that staff member could obviously tell from our wristbands that we were hotel guests and could have been a little friendlier toward us. Because I did not want to ruin the last night of our vacation, I chose to let this event slide. However, if another staff member of this hotel is ever rude towards me or any other members of my party during future stays, I will immediately report them to hotel management. After all, my visits help to pay the salaries of the staff members and if I am not treated respectfully, I can find another hotel to support.”
