“Have lived in Parrish for 10 years, and this has ALWAYS been my family's to-go spot for great food to eat together!! Food is always hot, delicious, and perfectly portioned. We always get 2 large general tso's chickens, 1 small sweet and sour chicken, 1 large fried rice, 1 large white rice, crab rangoons, and 1 large mixed vegetables. ALWAYS consistent, always enjoyable. Most requested dinner place by far in our family!! 🩷🩷“

“We tried Rice Bowl for the first time last night and it was all delicious. I had intended to get sushi but ordered the Chicken Udon and was so glad I did. The noodles and veggies were in a delicious broth, not in a heavy sauce. We also ordered the fried gyoza app which was delicious, and the kids meal was shrimp with fried rice which she said was amazing- and a generous portion for a kid. We will be coming back regularly- love a good sit-down Asian restaurant with a lot of options!“

“Me, my husband Joe and our kids love this place. We get Chinese here all the time. They are the best in the area! Good portions, good rice, good lo mien. Kids love the sesame chicken! The crab ragoons and wonton soup is also great. If you live in Ruskin and snuggle to find good Chinese. Look no further. 10/10 Would recommend.“

“I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a few years now, and let me tell you nothing else in the area compares. I’ve tried a few others, but I always end up right back here. “We were very impressed with this restaurant’s takeout service! Prices were great, portions were huge, staff were friendly, and the restaurant was clean. We had their general tso’s chicken & general tso’s bean curd (tofu) with vegetable fried rice, crab rangoon, egg rolls, and spring rolls. The food was fresh & the ingredients were high quality. The appetizers were crispy, the fried rice was full of fresh vegetables, and the entrees had just the right amount of sauce.

We especially appreciated how well they packaged our takeout. They had even hand-cut small ventilation holes in the takeout boxes so steam could escape, keeping the food from getting soggy. It’s such a small detail, but it showed the level of care they put into their customer service.“

“Typical no frills chinese take out experience. The service was kind and it was quick. The food itself is a touch above the standard take out quality you experience around these parts. Lot of reminded me of back up North especially the fried rice. The general tso was crispy and had those sweet sugary crisped edges I love in this dish, the eggrolls were crispy and not oily (the shrimp eggroll was a touch on the salty side)...My family was happy and we would return.“

The staff is professional. They are quick. They say 10-15 minutes and I got it in 6. I highly recommend them if you can get out to Lakewood Ranch.“

“I was visiting from out of town and stumbled across this place. I was hoping for a sit down dinner but this is not really an eat in restaurant. Took the meal back to my room to find it leaking in the bag. It was a mess.

General Tso’s was spicy but flavor was good. Chunks of chicken were too big and needed more than just a fork which is all I was offered.

“I really enjoyed a meal from Panda Express, and everything was fresh, hot, and flavorful. I got the fried rice and teriyaki chicken bowl, My server Sebastian was so nice and accommodating he even poured some extra teriyaki juice on my rice(soooo good 😋). The Teriyaki Chicken was juicy and tender. The Cream Cheese Rangoons were golden, crunchy, and creamy on the inside,an excellent addition to my meal. I’ll definitely be back!“

“I’ve been coming to Yummy Tokyo for years, and I’ve always enjoyed the food here. I honestly don’t understand some of the negative reviews because my experiences have been very different.

The food has always been fresh, portions are good, and the staff has been friendly. I especially enjoy their steak, hibachi, and sushi. No restaurant is perfect every single time, but based on my years of coming here, I think the recent negative reviews don’t fairly represent the restaurant.

I just wanted to share my experience and support the owners because I know how hard they work. If you haven’t tried Yummy Tokyo before, I’d recommend giving them a chance and judging for yourself. Definitely 5 stars from me!“
