“Tropix is still going strong. The DJ has evolved, the music was very good and the crowd was having a great time. Surprisingly my friends said the food was not good. But you can't really expect much in the middle of the night, I think they got some wings. Overall what I came for, I got, which was good music and a good atmosphere.“

“The food and restaurant was great, the service was meh, we were there for about an hour, and 20 mins was waiting for the server to come back at the end. After we finished eating, around 10 mins of waiting a manager who walked by took our empty plates and said he would send the server. 10 mins later the server finally came and we were able to get our check. Wasted 20 mins just to pay and leave.“

“Turns out that afternoon tea is no longer offered at this Fourth Seasons. We opted for the brunch experience at the hotel's restaurant Evelyn's, which features Mediterranean food. It was quite nice. But the impressive part of the visit was the response to our tea time disappointment. From the table staff to the tea guru to the management, they went above and beyond to make up for the oversight (in not removing tea from an option on the open table site). We enjoyed the food and the teas and the treats and have nothing but very good things to say about the people working at the hotel. Might merit a staycation in the future!“

“The food is terrible and a complete rip-off—definitely poor quality. Anyone giving this place 4 stars is either intoxicated or has never tasted good food. The Lo Mein is mushy, tasteless, and made me want to throw up. The fried rice is soggy, overly salty, and has no flavor. Absolutely disgusting.“

When we first arrived, it was pretty chill—about 6–8 people in the spot—but it didn’t stay that way for long. The vibe picked up quick!

I’m fairly new to cigars, so I went with a starter cigar (pre-cut), and it was actually really smooth—I finished the whole thing 😮‍💨

I paired it with a Crown Apple 🍏 and Red Bull (original), and for someone who’s not really a drinker, I have to say—it was smooth and well mixed.

The staff was friendly and very attentive. As soon as we got settled, the place started filling up, which says a lot about the spot.

Even with the crowd, the smoke didn’t bother me at all, and we had a great time. Definitely a grown and sophisticated vibe.

I’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a laid-back, upscale experience 👌🏾✨“

“The two owners that work here are AMAZING. I love the atmosphere here and is a true hidden Gem in Las Olas. The hookahs here are brilliant and the menu items are perfect. Definitely recommend for a nice hang out spot and a bite to eat. If you're looking for a place to hang out that isn't overly crowded this is definitely the place for you! “Fabulous long weekend staying at The Diplomat Beach Resort. Our King Corner Oceanfront Suite was spacious with a beautiful oceanfront view. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating to all requests as well as our early arrival. The Hotel Bar was a lovely place to grab late night drinks after dinner, both Eddie & Michael made fantastic cocktails and provided perfect service- give those gentleman a raise!! Gotta love bartenders that feel like friends by the end of the night. Definitely reserve a beach cabana for the day it is well worth the money and Andrew was incredibly attentive checking on us throughout the entire time. It puts you right up front with another ocean view, a super comfy daybed with sun protection, umbrella, table and 2 lounge chairs. The beach servers were also fantastic & quick to bring anything we ordered. The watermelon margarita is delish as well as the ceviche. This is definitely now our go to place when we travel to Ft. Lauderdale area!“
