“Tropix is still going strong. The DJ has evolved, the music was very good and the crowd was having a great time. Surprisingly my friends said the food was not good. But you can't really expect much in the middle of the night, I think they got some wings. Overall what I came for, I got, which was good music and a good atmosphere.“

much more than a server), you are in for a phenomenal experience. We ordered the burrata and steak tartar as appetizers. For our meal, we had the scallops, Parmesan Sole, truffle Mac n cheese and crab fried rice. Every single thing was amazing. The Parmesan sole and Mac n cheese though may have been 2 of the best things I’ve ever tasted. We were truly blown away. “Turns out that afternoon tea is no longer offered at this Fourth Seasons. We opted for the brunch experience at the hotel's restaurant Evelyn's, which features Mediterranean food. It was quite nice. But the impressive part of the visit was the response to our tea time disappointment. From the table staff to the tea guru to the management, they went above and beyond to make up for the oversight (in not removing tea from an option on the open table site). We enjoyed the food and the teas and the treats and have nothing but very good things to say about the people working at the hotel. Might merit a staycation in the future!“

“The two owners that work here are AMAZING. I love the atmosphere here and is a true hidden Gem in Las Olas. The hookahs here are brilliant and the menu items are perfect. Definitely recommend for a nice hang out spot and a bite to eat. If you're looking for a place to hang out that isn't overly crowded this is definitely the place for you! They have plenty of games to keep you entertained. Also if you're looking for a place for nice conversations this is the place for you too. A nice breath of fresh air from the craziness of downtown. When we first arrived, it was pretty chill—about 6–8 people in the spot—but it didn’t stay that way for long. The vibe picked up quick!

I’m fairly new to cigars, so I went with a starter cigar (pre-cut), and it was actually really smooth—I finished the whole thing 😮‍💨

I paired it with a Crown Apple 🍏 and Red Bull (original), and for someone who’s not really a drinker, I have to say—it was smooth and well mixed.

The staff was friendly and very attentive. As soon as we got settled, the place started filling up, which says a lot about the spot.

Even with the crowd, the smoke didn’t bother me at all, and we had a great time. Definitely a grown and sophisticated vibe.

“I had an amazing meal at Mange Lakay and Lounge, and I can’t recommend this place enough! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. Every bite tasted like authentic home-cooked Haitian cuisine.

I ordered the Haitian diri blan (white rice) with sos pwa (black bean sauce) and boulet (fried meatballs), and it was absolutely delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked, the black bean sauce was rich and full of flavor, and the boulet were seasoned beautifully with a crispy outside and juicy inside. Everything tasted fresh and comforting — true Haitian flavors done right.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, very clean, and spacious. It’s big enough to host events, which makes it a great spot for gatherings, celebrations, or just enjoying a great meal.

I also want to give a special shoutout to my cashier Gelda. She is always sweet, kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Her great customer service makes the experience even better every time I visit.

If you’re looking for authentic Haitian food, a clean and welcoming atmosphere, and amazing service, Mange Lakay and Lounge is definitely the place to go. I’ll absolutely be back!“

“We absolutely love leafy!!!!! My girlfriend and I drive 40 minutes some days just to eat here because the food is the most delicious and consistent. The staff is also very sweet, it’s always a pleasure to be able to eat their delicious food. Couldn’t recommend this place more. “Fabulous long weekend staying at The Diplomat Beach Resort. Our King Corner Oceanfront Suite was spacious with a beautiful oceanfront view. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating to all requests as well as our early arrival. The Hotel Bar was a lovely place to grab late night drinks after dinner, both Eddie & Michael made fantastic cocktails and provided perfect service- give those gentleman a raise!! Gotta love bartenders that feel like friends by the end of the night. Definitely reserve a beach cabana for the day it is well worth the money and Andrew was incredibly attentive checking on us throughout the entire time. It puts you right up front with another ocean view, a super comfy daybed with sun protection, umbrella, table and 2 lounge chairs. The beach servers were also fantastic & quick to bring anything we ordered. The watermelon margarita is delish as well as the ceviche. This is definitely now our go to place when we travel to Ft. Lauderdale area!“
