The Lo Mein is mushy, tasteless, and made me want to throw up. The fried rice is soggy, overly salty, and has no flavor. Absolutely disgusting.“

“We absolutely love leafy!!!!! My girlfriend and I drive 40 minutes some days just to eat here because the food is the most delicious and consistent. The staff is also very sweet, it’s always a pleasure to be able to eat their delicious food. Couldn’t recommend this place more. If you’re not sure what to get, try the vegan udon soup & the stir fry pho it’s our go to every time. Thank you leafy!!!“

But you can't really expect much in the middle of the night, I think they got some wings. Overall what I came for, I got, which was good music and a good atmosphere.“

The sauce is incredible, the baked beans have a hint of cinnamon (I think?) that adds the perfect touch, and the mac and cheese tastes like something your granny would make. Pure comfort food. “I had an amazing meal at Mange Lakay and Lounge, and I can’t recommend this place enough! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. Every bite tasted like authentic home-cooked Haitian cuisine.

I ordered the Haitian diri blan (white rice) with sos pwa (black bean sauce) and boulet (fried meatballs), and it was absolutely delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked, the black bean sauce was rich and full of flavor, and the boulet were seasoned beautifully with a crispy outside and juicy inside. Everything tasted fresh and comforting — true Haitian flavors done right.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, very clean, and spacious. It’s big enough to host events, which makes it a great spot for gatherings, celebrations, or just enjoying a great meal.

I also want to give a special shoutout to my cashier Gelda. She is always sweet, kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Her great customer service makes the experience even better every time I visit.

If you’re looking for authentic Haitian food, a clean and welcoming atmosphere, and amazing service, Mange Lakay and Lounge is definitely the place to go. I’ll absolutely be back!“
