“Very surprised by the food quality; worth it to come here just for a meal even if you don't want to karaoke. Expected it to be standard asian fare but actually had a lot more kick and flavor, which is especially impactful for such a succinct menu.
On the karaoke side; there are two rooms nestled just a little behind the counter and dining area. They are very well sound-proofed, couldn't hear anything coming from the room next door until actually stepping outside of our own room. Rented for two hours at about $190 total for our party of 7. No reservations are allowed ahead of time/no calling in, but they accommodated us by pushing our time back when some of our party were late. We were given a big pitcher of water and cups and two mics for duets. The karaoke machine connects natively to YouTube so you can get pretty much any song/genre you have in mind. The room could accommodate about 10 people comfortably assuming you have two people standing while singing; there's a good sized platform in front of the screen for you to dance and slide across. Staff unobtrusively checked up on us a couple of times to make sure if we needed anything. One of our mics did run out of battery but they were able to swap it out in less than a minute.“

“Tropix is still going strong. The DJ has evolved, the music was very good and the crowd was having a great time. Surprisingly my friends said the food was not good. But you can't really expect much in the middle of the night, I think they got some wings. Overall what I came for, I got, which was good music and a good atmosphere.“

“I decided we would have dinner at Rick’s Steakhouse & Lounge for my husband’s birthday, and let me tell y’all… the funny part is we went through the WRONG door and walked straight into the Gentleman’s Lounge🥴😂😂
We asked the guy at the front door where Rick’s was, and he pointed us toward the other end. Since we could hear music, I asked him what was on the other side. He told us it was the Gentleman’s Lounge and actually gave us a little tour and showed us the way to Rick’s. Turns out, the Gentleman’s Lounge and Rick’s Steakhouse & Lounge are two separate spaces, literally separated by a door. So technically, we got a 2-for-1 experience 😂😂
Now, onto Rick’s! The restaurant is definitely a vibe. The dim lighting, music, TVs, and pool table make it the perfect spot for a date night or birthday dinner.
Okay, let’s talk about the FOOD! We both ordered the pork chops with peppercorn sauce and Parmesan mash. That pork chop was cooked to PERFECTION! It literally melted in your mouth, and paired with that peppercorn sauce… CHEF’S KISS! 😘🤌🏾
I let our waiter know from the beginning that it was my husband’s birthday, and after dinner, she brought out a fudge molten cake topped with ice cream and sparkles so I could sing Happy Birthday to him. 🥳🎂✨ That definitely made his night!

“The ribs here are the best I’ve had since moving to Florida — and as a real foodie, I pay close attention to detail and flavor. The sauce is incredible, the baked beans have a hint of cinnamon (I think?) that adds the perfect touch, and the mac and cheese tastes like something your granny would make. Pure comfort food. Everything feels like it’s made with love. I stopped in today and Ken gave me the best customer service I’ve ever received — and that’s coming from someone who’s worked in nearly every corner of the food industry. Friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the people are just as great. I truly enjoy this place as a whole. Everything about it feels real and from the heart.“

“This was my first time patronizing this establishment. We were immediately greeted and seated upon arrival. The daiquiri and food were AMAZING! Our server Simone was FANTASTIC! “Hands down the best post-Dolphins game spot to unwind. The cigar selection is exceptional, the drinks are top-shelf, and the food is genuinely to die for. The entire staff was phenomenal, but Fabio behind the bar was an absolute legend with his service and drink pairings. I’ll definitely be back to recharge here before facing the office again.“
“I have known the Grants since middle school. They are like Family. This a Landmark Black Business, with reasonable and competitive pricing and a well stocked array of Libation selections. They have something for every one. They are located less than one block from the Famous Swap Shop on Sunrise boulevard near MLK Blvd conviently positioned between I-95 and the Turnpike on Sunrise boulevard. After or before a day of shopping stop by Troy's and get your party started.“

“My experience at Da Cave was amazing I came down from Texas for my bday must I say the tacos were the best tacos I’ve ever eaten in life . “My husband and I were anxiously waiting for kokos to open. Superb atmosphere, very attentive waitress and great music while having dinner. The shrimp tostones and cod croquetes . Pleasant place to mingle . Large tv's to watch your favorite games. Just plain nice . There's also seating outside with tv's. I will definitely be back.“

“I had an amazing experience at BLU lounge! The atmosphere was vibrant, the music was on point, and the staff provided excellent customer service from the moment we walked in. “The food is terrible and a complete rip-off—definitely poor quality. Anyone giving this place 4 stars is either intoxicated or has never tasted good food. The Lo Mein is mushy, tasteless, and made me want to throw up. The fried rice is soggy, overly salty, and has no flavor. Absolutely disgusting.“
