“Today I stopped in for some wellness shots & left with much more. First time trying the Buffalo Chickpea Salad & I ate it on my way home it looked so good-it was amazing! Then I broke into the homemade Broccoli Potato soup-yummy! Washed it all down with the watermelon Good Vibrations juice! If only we had a location in Lake Mary/Sanford, (hint hint) I would eat there multiple times per week! I just can’t say enough about this place & the owners are absolute gems!“

“We stayed in Orlando to go to universal and didn’t want to eat at the cheap chain restaurants near the hotel. This was 10 mins and completely worth it!! Wasseems service was so attentive and gave incredible recommendations of coffee and I’m genuinely saying the lotus latte is the best I’ve ever had. I doubt you can go wrong with anything on the menu, we got pirita bowl and Dubai chocolate waffle. Overall 10/0 will come back another trip❤️❤️“

Coffee options are very limited and what’s there is not great. The pastries though, YES YES YES. The guava and cheese danish was out of this world, and so was the honey apple goat cheese pastry. Would come back for pastries any time!

“An incredible hidden gem in Orlando’s Thornton park! Adorable little spot with ample inside and outside seating. We loved the bacon, egg & cheese croissant and the club sandwich (10/10 fresh baked baguette). Delicious tea selection — I enjoyed the hot green tea & my husband enjoyed the iced ginger peach tea. A delicious looking bakery case of sweet treats; we are obsessed with the fresh baked chocolate croissants. Service was friendly & speedy. Can’t wait to come back with girlfriends for salads & a bottle of mimosas for brunch next time.“

Definitely a go-to choice for a quick but delicious breakfast. I love DT Cafe💙“

“I’ve now visited New General Cafe multiple times, and it has quickly become one of my favorite gluten-free-friendly spots in Winter Park.

What makes this place stand out is that gluten-free options are thoughtfully integrated throughout the menu rather than treated as an afterthought. The staff was knowledgeable about dietary restrictions, and I felt comfortable ordering as someone who actively seeks safe gluten-free dining options.

On this visit, I had the chicken burrito with their incredible green sauce, which added the perfect amount of flavor and freshness. I’ve also previously enjoyed the breakfast burrito, which was equally impressive.

The star of the menu for me, however, is the Blueberry Coffee Cake Pancake. Beautifully presented with fresh blueberries, blueberry compote, and a coffee cake crumble topping, it was one of the most unique gluten-free breakfast items I’ve had in Central Florida.

The coffee program is equally impressive. My latte was expertly prepared and paired perfectly with the relaxed atmosphere.

Beyond the food, the cafe itself is bright, modern, and welcoming, with a clean aesthetic that makes it a great place to meet friends, work remotely, or simply enjoy a slow morning.

If you’re gluten-free, have celiac disease, or are simply looking for quality food and coffee in Winter Park, New General Cafe is absolutely worth a visit.“

“I was running late on this chilly brisk morning and knew I needed a nice warm caffeinated boost. Apparently I wasn't the only one. I had a short window of opportunity and was not disappointed by the person behind the counter magically making beverages for all. Not sure of the name but I think it's was Casey or something similar. All I know is that I will recognize that beeming smile the next time I visit. It's nice knowing that even when time won't allow a tasty warm caffeinated beverage, I've got options. Go FoxTail!!!“

“I visited this place for the first time and I had a really great time!! The guy who was at the register was extremely nice and mentioned the menu really well. I thought the flamingo decorations were so cute and in the middle there’s a little bar where you can get napkins and other condiments. I also got two slices of cheese pizza, they were warmed up and delicious!“

I told the cashier it was my first time there, she didn’t at all bother to explain to me how the menu worked, the menu is overwhelming but the point of her is to assist customers, she stocked, chatted with other employees and pressed buttons on the computer as I ordered. Customer service? Zero.

I also asked her because I noticed that they charge more with card than they do with cash, and I asked her how much more do you guys charge with card? And she answered
“it’s not a lot, like 70 cents”
and I said
“it’s a percentage per dollar, I’m looking for a percent”
The manager/owner was next to me and I asked “are you the owner?” And asked her.
The answer is 3%.

Just in case bring cash so you can pay less, and not support those corporations take charge more.

“Friendly service and buzzing breakfast spot in the Millenia area. Venton was warm and attentive with good suggestions and recommendations. Greek omelet and home fries are good - the turkey bacon wasn't very flavorful for some reason. The other waffles look amazing!“

“I was browsing for a new breakfast spot in my eyes spotted this local café wasn’t too far from me. I the menu is very simple. It’s in a very nice area. The person I was working there she was very nice. I tried the Jamaican wrap very good. Very nice spices. I also had a number one drink banana watermelon pineapple very good. I’m gonna come back to the spot and try some more to find my favorite but so far so good from my first experience“

“I went to the service center to get repairs done to my vehicle and was told that I could have breakfast @ Nissan while I’m waiting. I came to Nero’s and ordered an Energizing Egg Breakfast. It came with 2 eggs cooked your way, your choice of meat, toast and a hash brown. They have beverages as well. The Price was good and the food was hot, fresh and delicious. Service was good and the area is clean. Definitely will be my go to breakfast place when serving my vehicle.“

“The place just reopened. I've passed by several times and decided to stop by yesterday ... the owner was very welcoming as well as the lady behind the counter! I ordered 2 subs a turkey with bacon ? and a Philly cheese steak, both combo meals (soda+chips) totaling around less than $13 ! Which is impressive within itself, but both subs were excellent! Sorry, no pics. I ate them already, but if you would like a great sub without paying ridiculous prices, this is the place to go .... did I mention they also have Pizza ?
