“Red Fish Grill on Captiva was a solid lunch spot for us, especially hanging out at the pool bar. The serving portions were large and generous, making it great value for a relaxed midday meal. Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, which fit the laid-back island vibe perfectly. The pool bar setting made lunch feel extra casual and enjoyable—easy, breezy, and exactly what you want while on Captiva. Not quite perfect, but definitely a place we’d happily return to.“

“After a long day of driving, this place was exactly what we needed. The ambiance is relaxing and welcoming, with all staff smiling. Jody, our server, was attentive and pleasant. I had the Caesar salad with seared tuna, and it was superb (photo). My wife had the "small" shrimp and grits, and it was tasty as well as a generous portion. We shared the mango key lime pie, which was delicious. Sometimes you just get lucky; tonight was one of those times.“

“It is one of the few places open, from what we saw driving around. The island is sadly still dealing with the aftermath of the hurricanes. \nWe loved RC Otter's! \nMy husband and I came for a late breakfast - we were sat immediately, they had live music which was great and the ambiance is a laid back-island vibe. Service was friendly...albeit a bit slow but we weren't in a rush by any means. The French toast was some of the best I've ever had. Super fresh and so yummy - husband loved it also. He had the eggs and ham which he loved as well. Easy parking in their parking lot onsite also. Note...you won't find much parking in the area. We would absolutely love to come back on our next trip.“

“Visited Mainely for the first time today, and we were so impressed! The conch fritters were small but delicious. I took a chance and ordered the hot lobster roll. Best lobster roll I've had in my life! Being from Massachusetts, I've tried my share, and they are always overpriced and underwhelming. This was reasonably priced and loaded with big chunks of lobster. My sons got the fish and chips and the grouper fingers. Fish and chips wasn't the traditional puffy New England breading, but my son still liked it. Hubby got a Po Boy full of huge shrimp on a big toasted hoagie. The fries were outstanding, and there was actually vinegar on the table (iykyk)! The only negative was that the air conditioning did not seem to be working and the oil in the air burned our eyes a little. Overall, this little no-frills-just-great-food spot is highly recommended and this New England girl will be back to try the scallops and fried clam strips! p.s. I would love to see clam cakes on the menu!“

“Not only did he come to my home and was extremely professional, but made it a wonderful event!! I have had steaks from here to California up to Canada and back down here to Florida… nobody makes a stake like this man!! he does a reverse sear and everything has done to perfection along with the sides. “Restaurant setting gets a 5, food gets a 3, which equals a 4 overall. Really nice marina setting in Bokelia. The venue is small but has a nice vibe, views, and service. The food was another story. Two of us had grouper sandwiches, and two of us had grouper platters (no bun). The sandwiches were (reportedly) OK, but the platters were not. The grouper in the platters was like small dried-out dollar pancakes. It's very disappointing for a restaurant chain that has been a mainstay in the area for many years. The operation on McGregor is not like this one. (food-wise).“

“Stayed at South Seas and visited this place for dinner with my family. I had the bolognese pasta and it was delicious. The staff was attentive and very welcoming. Our waitress was Latravia and she was one of the best waitresses we've had in a long time!“
