If you’re looking for authentic, absolutely delicious Trinidadian food in Plantation, FL, Ali’s Roti Shop is where it’s at!
My husband and I just had the most incredible meal here, and I’m still thinking about it.

The Roti- Oh my goodness, the sass roti! Hot, soft, and fluffy - exactly how it should be. You can tell they make it fresh and with care. It’s the perfect vehicle for all those amazing accompaniments.

The Doubles were perfection! The bara had that ideal soft texture with just the right thickness - not too thick, not too thin. The channa? Spot-on consistency. And don’t even get me started on the sauces - they had every sauce you could want, and each one was perfectly balanced.

The Food - I went with the fried aloo and tomato choka, and WOW. My husband got the bhagi and baigan choka, and we were both in heaven. Everything was seasoned beautifully and tasted so authentic and homemade.

The Drinks - We paired our meal with a Shandy Sorrel and a Banana Solo, which were the perfect complement to the food. So refreshing!

Customer Service- 100%! The staff was friendly, helpful, and clearly take pride in what they do.

“One of my favorite Carribean Restaurants. I have been eating there for years. They make all favorites: Bouillon, Tassot Cabrit (fried Goat meat); Tassot Codinn(fried Turkey), griot (fried Pork). “I love this restaurant. The food is soooo good. For all the people complaining about the language barrier then GO TO POPEYES!! I swear American’s are so ignorant and have no class. It’s a Haitian restaurant. You want our food so bad but have the nerves to complain about our language. Gain some class. “This spot is hands-down one of my favorites for Jamaican food in all of North America. The portions are big, just how we like it down here, and everything we tried was packed with flavor. I have had nothing but exceptional service whenever I'm there, and believe me I have been there since they opened. Even family visiting from Trinidad the first place we visit is there. “My husband and I eat at this Haitian restaurant whenever we’re in town visiting family, and they never disappoint. The food is always fresh, well-seasoned, and full of real Haitian flavor. From the fried turkey to the rice and beans and the sides, you can tell everything is cooked with care and love, not just thrown together.

What really keeps us coming back is the way they treat us. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and respectful. They make sure we’re comfortable, check on us, and treat us like regulars every single time, even when it’s busy. The service matches the quality of the food, excellent.

The atmosphere is clean, relaxed, and feels like a true Haitian home, with good vibes, good music, and good people.

“From the moment we walked in, the experience at this restaurant was amazing. The owner, Mily, greeted us with a big smile and made us feel so welcome. She was incredibly hospitable—she even offered my mom a small taste of the legume before ordering, just to make sure she liked it. That level of care and kindness really stood out. Mily also walked us through the ordering process, explaining each dish and helping us feel comfortable with our choices.

I ordered the legume white rice sauce pwa plate and the tassot with diri jon jon, and let me tell you—it was phenomenal. The flavors were amazing , and everything was cooked to perfection. The restaurant’s playlist set the perfect mood, good music and playing at just the right volume not loud. Plus, the restaurant
was spotless—tables floors, were clean.

“Listen I was so hungry after church drove by and decided to stopped by . I ordered griot and ask them to fry it soft and to add the fatty pieces. The black rice was delicious and well seasoned , the meat was tender and Savory everything was great.
The person who took my order was really nice and kind. I also got their fresh lemonade it was so good, not too sweet just right.

“Had an amazing lunch at All Star Jerk last month 🤩. I ate their Jerk Pork, Rice & Peas, Steamed Veggies and Festival. Can’t wait to back for Round 2. The restaurant itself is very comfortable and has a lot of space to sit down and enjoy your food. I had the Passion Fruit Juices. The service was fast and efficient. It did not take long to get my food. Overall this was a great place to go for lunch and I’m very happy I was able to share a meal with my loved ones here.“

“My family and I love trying new flavors from different places, so we decided to try this little place called: which is located on W. Commercial Blvd. and 441st Street in a large shopping plaza. The place is small, simple, but with an incredible flavor, WOW! We ordered a Brown Stew Chicken which had an incredible flavor, and you can't help but admire the prices😳 They don't even exist in a Chinese restaurant, no wonder there are lines of people buying their food at this place; that's why my husband and I have come to the conclusion: it's useless if the place has spectacular or extraordinary decor, if what will convince you is the flavor of their dishes. We will definitely return! Ahhh, not to mention that the service is very pleasant, the prices incredible, and the food sufficient and delicious. Why aren't these places as well-known? For their humble decor? Don't be fooled by the decor of the establishment or the dishes, focus on the flavor, which is what really counts.“
