“My wife and I went to Ponce Inlet, never having been before. We were greeted by Caitlyn, I hoped I spelled her name correctly, who was the most gracious server we have had in a long time. Great service, great food, great view, affordable and just a great find. Highly recommend to anyone in the area. We plan on making this place a definite stop when we're in the area. Kudos to the staff !!! ☆☆☆☆☆“

“Since I live in Ponce Inlet, I've been to Down the Hatch many times and have always found their seafood to be so fresh all the time. This time I had my sons visiting me from St. Louis, they wanted to eat at the best restaurant for seafood, and of course, we went right here and it didn't disappoint. They especially loved the shecrab soup with the sherry on the side. It was scrumptious. Their dinners were wonderful, as well as the desserts. Needless to say, we went home with plenty of leftovers. Steve, the server was great. All in all, it was a perfect night. So whether you live nearby or on vacation, make it a point to dine there.“

We dined outside to enjoy the beautiful day. The children’s playground out there seemed out of place. It took away from the esthetics of the place and the whole dining experience.“

Took my friends from out of town for the 1st time. Great choices for appetizers, had the gator nuggets and lobster bites. Both were delicious and highly recommend. I tried Hogfish for the 1st time. .The crab spinach dip with homemade chips were fantastic.Perfectly prepared and Gouda grits were so Gouda! The tropical slaw was one of the best ever. My one friend had the Jonah crabs which surprisingly were difficult to crack and meat fell apart. Recommend getting a smaller sturdy fork. The other had the stuffed flounder which was excellent. Highly recommend this place, great food. Service and ocean view to boot. Also one of the few restaurants that take reservations. My neighbors feel more restaurants should allow locals to make reservations.“

“I have patronized this location for the better of 5 years or more and overall I have had pleasant experiences and enjoyed the food. Naturally, there were times when mistakes did occur and the owner/manager always offered to correct; however, the manager/owner's habitual excuse making as a pass for incompetence (customer service) is rather insufferable!!! I was taught that you tell the establishment rather than smear but clearly Pat does NOT appreciate my efforts to give him the opportunity to hear my complaints without making me feel as if I am unreasonable to expect that my order is correct with all the accompanied condiments and not a waste of my time to have to wait longer to correct and/or forced to return to the business!“

“My wife and I had an early dinner at Boondocks in Port Orange. The drinks and food were great. The only thing better was the service. If a server passed your table, with a smile they asked how everything was and did you need anything. Best staff attitude I have seen in a long time. Cudos to the Staff and mgt. “Best.Omelette.Ever! The breakfast buffet is very good with a lot of great options, but the omelette station and the gentlemen making omelettes on 7/31/24 was hands-down the best we have ever had.
This restaurant is located inside the Daytona Beach Hilton on N. Atlantic Ave.

Parking: The Hilton has their own parking area however you do have to pay for parking. The other option is valet.“

“We went to Caribbean Jacks while on vacation, and were not disappointed. The food was wonderful, and the service was fantastic. This is not the reason for the review however. When we contacted the restaurant about a possible lost credit card, Chris and the rest of his staff went above and beyond by locating the card, then personally mailing it to our home. Now that’s service!“

“Abel was AMAZING. My fiancé Anela didn’t realize the beans and fries came inside her burrito and was a little disappointed because she’s not a fan of soggy fries. We honestly never send food back, but Abel handled it so well. He immediately took it back, had a fresh burrito made for her, and was so pleasant about the whole thing.

On top of that, we ordered a small guac and accidentally got the large guac salad — he fixed that right away too and brought us exactly what we wanted without making it awkward at all.

We’ve tried several of the delicious dishes and have been impressed and pleased with them. The Spring Rolls are a must with their yummy peanut sauce. The Com Ga Toi is truly scrumptious, as well as the Pho Tai Nam, mouth watering!!! We’ve been full to the gills from the sizable portions, so we haven’t tried dessert yet, but the options look tasty. “I love this place. It can be hit or miss at times. I've had the gizzards, the wings and the fish with shrimp. The food is good although it's not highly seasoned. The flavor comes from the lemon pepper that they sprinkle on top. With that being said, sometimes the food is sprinkled well and sometimes it's not. Be sure to ask for lemon pepper on the meat and the fries. Sometimes the fries can be a little under done and not drained well which makes them soggyy. The service is exceptional and my food has never been cold. Also, the lunch specials are worth the price. My biggest complaint is that there has been a bad smell inside of the restaurant on a few occasions. It smell like they have issues with the pipes. I hate this for them. I hope they can get that situation taken care because it gives a bad impression. Overall, I give this establishment 4 stars.“

“Asian Sauce Box is my favorite Chinese restaurant in town and an I’m Chinese Jamaican! Yes it’s a little pricey, but the food is so good, it’s really worth it! No other Chinese restaurant in town even comes close in my honest opinion. In fact I just told a friend about it and both her husband and her will be going there for dinner sometime next week, I think, with us. She’s never been there, but she’s going with both my husband and I soon.“
