“Burnin Barber-Que catered my daughter’s graduation party and to say that the food was spectacular is an understatement!! Their BBQ and sides were/ are the best that I have had in YEARS!!!!! I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely be returning when I come back to Tampa!!“

“Food is fantastic every time. My husband and I discovered them little gem a few years ago, and frequently eat there.. The fried chicken , greens, Mac n chz, are my favorite.. my husband loves the pork chops.. desserts are amazing as well.. this is the only place we consider for soul food. My husband jokes that it’s almost as good as mine.. love love this place!“

“Food was so freaking good, especially their homemade sauce you don’t need ranch or blue cheese for it. The grilled corn was a 10/10 as well. I also had the banana pudding it was light and sweet enough for me not too sweet. Also the potato salad was good as well too. Great customer service at that! Very nice and made fresh and ready to eat! Highly recommend. I found this place on TikTok.“

“It was my first time eating here at Mama's Soulfood.I ordered the Oaxtail dinner with yellow rice, Collard greens and macaroni cheese.I just moved here from Miami,Florida 10 months ago..I was very dissatisfied with the Collard greens which had a distinct odor and wasn't completely cooked. Oxtails was very salty. Rice was okay and the Macaroni cheese was delicious. I was very disappointed with my experience. I grew up on soulfood from Miami. I have to say my Mama's soulfood experience was the worst.“

“Wow! What a great find! In town for the Tyler Childers concert, looking for a non chain restaurant and came across this gem on Yelp. Don't judge a book by it's cover- the food is fantastic. The lady who took our order has a great personality and helped us with menu questions.
It's no frills- but worth it.“
