“Went here because my friend said it was a piano bar. They had a piano, but someone was doing live music with a guitar. We didn't eat but had a couple of drinks. The place looked very tourist trap like, but I was surprised, and the bartender made me a dirty Gin martini that was better than I have had at fancy bars. I had a great experience there and would definitely recommend it.“

“Great food. We started with a spectacular wine recommendation from our server Michael and the had a tasty house made bread with an olive-oil vinaigrette for dipping. Excellent starter. This is my 4th trip in 5 years. Michael is and will be our server as long as he works at this place. His recommendations are always the best. My companion and I shared the appetizer Duck Confit that was served with roasted Brussel Sprouts in a homemade Cranberry - Pomegranate sauce that was truly delicious. The Duck was cooked perfectly with a crisp skin and silky meat. Next we had the Steak & Lamb for the main course. The Cast Iron Beef Filet served with Garlic Mashed Tatters and was absolutely delicious. Medium Rare - Rare cooked perfectly with a warm red center. The Lamb Rack too was also cooked to perfection with a warm red center served with Couscous and greens that's one of the best meals i've had in years Bijoux may be the best restaurant in Destin ! This has been an annual trip for now for years..“

Outdoor tables, coveted in the spring weather. Absolutely fabulous elevated food options, attentive and friendly service willing to provide recommendations and accomodations. Our reservation was at 6p (in April) which was perfectly timed to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. Destin may be a tourist hellscape, but this location is a secluded, quiet, hidden gem.“

“I ordered online and paid for it through their website. It was very seamless and easy to order. When I got there, it was easy to pick up the food. I got the food to go and surprisingly the food was delicious, well packed, and fresh. I got the shrimp tacos and they were well seasoned. I appreciate it that the shrimp of adequate size, not little mini shrimp. I love all the fresh flavors in the taco. I would definitely come back again. Service was so easy. The atmosphere looked really cute to sit inside or out. Parking was easy.“

“I don't know how it took me so long to go to this awesome wine bar right by the Commons in Destin. I've seen it forever and just went there for the first time this evening with two friends/colleagues. The service was excellent and when I learned that it is run by a family that really made sense. Everyone was so friendly. The charcuterie board we ordered was delicious and full of flavorful cheese, fruit, meats, and a variety of items I've actually never even tried before. Everything was delicious. Their happy hour was great and I will definitely be back.“

“Overall from adult entrees to children's menu everyone of the group of 18 was very happy. Numerous positive comments from Outstanding, excellent, fantastic and it was wonderful. I had the Cajun Reddish with Shrimp which was excellent, my wife enjoyed the Stuffed Shrimp Parmesan, both dinners included baked potato and house salad. Other main courses were Coconut Shrips and Seafood gumbo, Clam Chowder and the House salad with Grilled Mahi Mahi, Fried Shrimp dinner with fried Oakra, House salad.Sone of the kids meaks were Shrimp and fries, Cheese burger and fries, and Chicken strips with fries. Service was excellent and handled by three waiters with Cherry overall.“

There is an employee there named Way. He is of Asian ethnicity. Absolutely amazing service from Way. Mind you I showed up about 5:15 and I had to head and then come back up before she was closed and it was impossible. But everyone needs to check her out! Why hasn’t someone thought of it before?All of the fresh fish options were top tier. Tuna was a spectacular coloring and sushi rolls went down smoothly. We got the Crab and Artichoke Dip to share for the table, which was a hit. The Grouper Tacos were tasty, albeit could have had more seasoning. The Oysters Rockefeller were a pretty good deal as well. The Seaweed Salad came in a large portion. We had a big group and our servers managed to give us our food promptly and with a smile.The directions to getting up to the restaurant could be improved though. You can park in the hotel parking lot, and go through the lobby to the stairs to the 2nd level, and walk all the way towards the front of the building.The restaurant has a patio attached to the hotel with lovely views of the sunset (across the street) on the beach. Also has a bar across the road on the actual beach.Parking: Park past the lobby in the lot beside the hotel. Had a couple spots open when we got there around 6pm. It was more off-season though, so it may be busier in the summer.Walk up through the lobby to the second floor to get to the restaurant entrance. Not sure if there is an elevator, but with so many floors at the hotel, there should definitely be one.“

My daughter had the Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. Both were creamy and tasted great! It is a little more expensive than some places, but it's definitely worth it for what you get! “Just finished eating a mid morning breakfast here with a few relatives. Had the Biscuits and Gravy with Scrambled Eggs, subbed out the Sausage Patties with Bacon. Everything was reported to be delicious by everybody, highlight of the meal were probably the bodacious cheese grits, they were excellent and I normally don’t like grits to boot.Only drawback was the service, we started out at about 75% capacity drawing down to 50% capacity as the morning rush died down but we still had to flag down a couple of waiters when it came to getting refills.Loved the decor.“

“This is a bar located in Hotel Effie lobby on the Sandestin Golf and Resort Bar. I enjoyed my lemon drop martini and my friend had the Cabernet blend wine that was really good. The service was great and the ambiance was typical of that of a hotel lobby bar. Pretty busy and even though we came at 9pm on a Sunday, it was kind of noisy. Still, I would absolutely recommend it“
