“Everything was great except the dessert. We ordered the gooey butter cake and returned both. The inside tasted like gritty sand and the rum overpowered it. Nice presentation though. I think the inside wasn't warm enough to have melted it to make it gooey.“

“Stopped in for lunch and was hankering for ceviche. I had the Mixed Ceviche, Not the best ceviche I've ever had. It was certainly edible! Don't get me wrong I finished it, but maybe my American tastes aren't adjusted to traditional Peruvian recipes. Very acidic, and a couple pieces were tough.

My wife and kids had the half chicken and plantains which were really good and well priced.

“While in Sanford, I visited the Captain D’s restaurant, and the food was amazing. The person that took my order name was Carolyn and she was so helpful with helping me decide what I wanted to eat because I was so hungry, so she suggest that I get the deluxe seafood platter, I even asked if I could get my fish cooked country style and they said it was no problem, she was very polite and the food was great! I asked to speak to the manager to let her know. The manager name was Cassie and she was very sweet and thanked me for coming and let me know anytime I’m in the area I can always come by. Captain D’s Sanford for the win!!“

“We had an issue with an extra member of our party. They fixed that in 2 minutes. There were 2 minor issues with the food. They corrected it immediately. It was MIL birthday, they gave her carrot cake, her fave. Great with kids, we really had a lovely time. Get the NY strip with lobster tail and thank me later lol“
