We sat in the Alice in Wonderland room which we all loved! “My husband works in Gulf Gate, just a few storefronts down from Clever Cup, and we have been getting coffee from here since they have opened. I can honestly say that I have NEVER had a bad experience and the coffee and baked goods are always delicious! The baristas are amazing and although we probably shouldn't have favorites, I simply adore Veronika and Karissa. The two of them are always ready with a smile, a cheerful, 'Good Morning!' and even if I've had an icky start to my day, the two of them are always able to brighten my mood and I wind up walking out with delicious coffee and a smile. “What a wonderful restaurant. I have traveled extensively in France and found this hidden jewel in my backyard. The food is not only exceptional, but also true to French cuisine. You have to try the croissants and baguettes which are freshly prepared daily. The crepes and sandwiches are superb as well as the desser pastries. I strong recommend this restaurant. It is definitely worth the drive.“

“Absolutely the BEST ice cream around. As a family we drive an hour nearly every week to eat Jake's ice cream...YES, it's that good! Incredibly kind owner and staff as well, this place is a must visit if in the Sarasota area (and beyond!) Once you've tasted Jake's ice cream it's hard to ever eat anything else, he's raising the standards for homemade ice cream with every flavor - although we all have our favorites we've never tried one we didn't like!! (My personal favorite is Salty Turtle)“

“Beverages are good like all Starbucks. Food is okay and a little better than McDonald's. Counter service is friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean, both the men's and the women's according to what my wife experienced. I had some kind of fruit drink but not a smoothie. It tasted similar to a Crystal Light drink and was $4.95. Since we had access to a clean bathroom and spent about $10 for 2 beverages, I was satisfied.“

“I like the vibration at Whole Foods. Everyone is polite, they seem to be happy working there and there’s a wonderful selection. I particularly like the produce department and the seafood although I will admit it’s a little pricey. But you can get good deals. I also like their Large prepared food section, and bakery. I feel privileged to have this store so close to me and to have this free parking right there in the Center of Sarasota. By using my Amazon prime card, I get further discounts when items are on sale. I shop there frequently.“

“Wonderful little coffee cafe! After church we stopped in for breakfast, coffee & oj by donation. Indoor tables plus lots of seating on the patio w tables. The awning is new since our last visit! (We're from out of state). Hope to be back soon!

Parking: It's located in from of the church and there's well over 50 slots. The coffee shop is at the front left corner of the building.

Wheelchair accessibility: I saw one lady in a wheelchair and another who was using a scooter so I know there was a ramp even though I didn't see it personally.“

During the pandemic and Hurricane Ian, with limited store hours, weaker morals and limited personnel, they still managed to deliver and maintain good attitudes with the customers, quick and professional service and great tasting products on the daily.
