“We ate here 2 nights while staying on the beach this week. The hummus and flatbread along with their house salad for a starter was sooo good. The coconut shrimp was good and the coconut curry snapper was the best fish I have ever tasted and I grew up in Florida. The dish is not sweet and the flavor is amazing along with fish cooked perfect. Don’t hesitate to eat here it was our best meal when in St Pete Beach. Thanks Snappers we will be back!“

“Always enjoy this place when we come to Florida. The clam chowder is so good ! The crab cakes were flaky and delicious, the langostino lobster pasta dish is a must. Everything here is 5 stars but at a 2 star price! Server was also very kind“

“Our first time trying this casual New Orleans themed beach bar/restaurant, but will definitely be back! Food was very good, with ample portions. I had the “torpedo,” which is a hollowed-out grilled French bread loaf, filled with shrimp and scallops that have been sautéed in seasoned butter. Daughter’s grouper sandwich was great, too, again with very ample portions. Other daughter’s burger was over and above as well. Live acoustic music added to the ambience. Service was great! My only minor complaint they had no draft beer on tap, but they did have a good selection of bottled/canned beer, plus full bar.“

“First time here from out of town. Our waiter was Blake and he’s a peach! Real helpful with what’s good here, the portion sizes and chill vibe. The food sizes are amazing and the Lobster Fries are 10/10!!! Blake steered me to the Mac and cheese for a side and it was bomb!!! My daughter tried something new, which is amazing and crazy, and sadly didn’t like it. Blake allowed us to trade it out for another meal we knew she’d like.

“If I could give you a six stars, I would we were staying at the Hilton Clearwater Beach and noticed your sign. Just a block away. We love to eat locally mom and Pop stuff. This is a great location food staff. Ian was our waiter. He is a little quirky, but just what we need when traveling with small children he was engaging and again just high spirits across the board love Clearwater so glad to see you guys are 100% after the hurricane last year. God bless him great job.“

“We were disappointed Monday...... they were out of coconut shrimp, the fish special, and their normal French fries. Although we mentioned how bad the French fries were to the waitress, no substitute was offered. We also had to stop another waitress to get drink refills. I emailed the restaurant, but no response. The wharf is our go-to restaurant at St Pete Beach..... the fried shrimp and fish basket were very good, but we were surprised at the food they were out of at 6:30 at night.“

“A group of us girls came to visit Largo/Indian Rocks Beach two weeks after hurricane Milton which was right after hurricane Helene. We were worried about businesses being open after all the damage but we were really pleasantly surprised. Beach Waves had excellent food - hot, fresh, tasty and cold drinks. Sara, our bartender on a Saturday afternoon, was great! The locals are hospitable and friendly. 10/10 would highly recommend!“

“A frequent visitor to Clearwater recommended the original franchise to us. The food is the best we have had on this island! Our first day there we had grouper cheeks and a shrimp Poboy. If you have never had grouper cheeks, you definitely must try! The food was so good. The second day we went back and had the stone clause, jalapeño hush puppies, and the special garlic crab fries. The food was amazing, but the service was just as amazing. We love to sit up at the bar and Katie was with us the first day and Megan was with us the second day.. Love singing at the bar so we can chat with the locals. We’ll definitely be back at our favorite place on the island.“

“Walked in and was greeted with a friendly smile by Malcom who helped us choose the best options. I so wanted to try the gizzards but they were sold out-they must be good! We had the garlic snow crab platter and had them spice it up a bit, so buttery and flaky. We also tried the garlic shrimp platter which had plenty of large shrimp and both had delicious butter soaked potatoes and corn on the cob too. Then we had the fried catfish with seasoned fries. This is a take out only location and all the better for it. When we picked up our order we got to meet "Little Pompey" who was rang us up and thanked us for our business. Any platter you choose Snow Crab, Blue Crab, Shrimp will be worth it just ask for a little heat if you like it!“

“Tried Drift, finally! It is amazing! The restaurant is gorgeous, and the outdoor bar sets the “bar” in the Clearwater Beach market for views, drinks, vibe. The drink menu and bar has everything one could want!! We had the focaccia bread and it was incredible! That parm cream dip was unique and stands as one of the best apps I’ve ever tried in the area. The steak burger was very, very good. My wife got the buttermilk chicken sandwich, and wow wow wow. The dessert menu is on point, highly recommend getting the pistachio tiramisu and the chocolate “pot” haha.

And through it all, our server, Robby, was on point, knowledgeable, very personable, and made the experience even better! Highly recommend trying drift. When you get there, ask for Robby’s table.“
