“The quality of food is high, for that I recommend it. The reason I wouldn’t go back is that the staff just did not care we were there at all. Still waiting for them to ask how everything is… we came through last year and had a totally different experience staff was super friendly and engaged even though the place was packed. We caught them at turnover and they couldn’t care less. We talked about hitting craft as a high point for our one night in Miami before cruising… and now we won’t bother going back to Bayside.“

Careful on the parking, I almost got towed because I parked on the wrong side of the restaurant. Its very confusing snd could happen to anyone. Good thing I was paying attention.

The onion soup was not great, and thats a shame as the rest of thenplace was good. The empanadas delicious, breads so good. But that soup was a complete waste. Id go back, but just focus on tapas style items and bakes goods. Id skip the real food based on my soup experience.“

“My husband found this little gem and we went for brunch on our first day in Coral Gables. We struck gold! Not only was our server, Monica, a treat but so was the food. We went with two of her recommendations. The il piu italiano avo toast and mega mushroom omelette…so good!! I went back the next morning because I really wanted to try the don’t be a (lemon) tart French toast…another hit. And my server, Rashad, was another gem! “There most likely will be a wait and you should definitely wait it out. The average is about 40mins around 10am on a Saturday.

The staff was wonderful and you get to SEE bread being freshly baked every second.

We went for it with fruit & yogurt, eggs Florentine, and baguette. We couldn’t finish it all but that baguette was LIFE. So delicious and perfectly warm and toasted!

“We absolutely love coming to Novela Cafe, and a big part of that is Helen. She always greets us with a warm, welcoming smile, is incredibly attentive, and never misses the chance to stop by and make sure everything is perfect. She makes every visit feel special and is one of the reasons we keep coming back.

Breakfast here is always a treat. The avocado toast is fresh and delicious, and the American breakfast is the perfect combination of sweet and savory—crispy bacon, fluffy pancakes, eggs cooked just the way you like them, and crispy hash browns. The coffee is consistently excellent too. You can tell that every barista takes pride in what they do because every cup is made with care and tastes amazing.

Whether you choose to sit outside or inside, the atmosphere is inviting and relaxing. The greenery creates such a pleasant space, and it’s a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal or get some work done on your laptop.

We rarely become regulars at the same places, but Novela Cafe has definitely become one of our favorite spots. Great food, wonderful coffee, and exceptional service make it easy to recommend.“

“We had such a great lunch at La Boulangerie! Joleidy was incredibly kind and attentive from the moment we sat down. She made sure we had the Miami Spice menus right away, walked us through everything, and checked to see if we had any questions.

The food was phenomenal, especially the tuna tartare. It was seriously out of this world, and I would come back for that alone! The Miami Spice menu was also an amazing value. You get a LOT of food for the price, and everything we ordered was delicious.

We brought our dog with us and loved that they’re dog-friendly, too. It’s such a cute, relaxed spot for lunch with great food, great service, and a really nice atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!“

“I just moved back into Coconut Grove and this is going to be my daily stop. Not only is the place cozy and beautiful,
filled with fantastic wines, gourmet foods, original local artwork and even cute clothes, but the food was delicious. I had a melted mozzarella and tomato sandwich on ciabatta bread and it was divine. I also had a homemade flan that would make my Cuban grandmother, proud.
