“I was shocked and didn't know that deli mart had been sold. I purchased calallo and cod fish. The taste was excellent however the stem of the calallo was tough. This is understandable because calallo, can be picked when it is old. This is not Trelawny's Spice's fault as they bought it from a supplier. A week later I went back and bought a Stew Chicken. The dish was phenomenal. Kudos to the chef. The dish was exquisite. PLEASE SUPPORT THEM. I write honest reviews. No one pays me to write good or bad reviews.“

“A plus if you speak and understand espanol as that is the primary form of communication here. Stopped in the evening for a game of pool, they have 2 tables. Not a large place, but large enough for a small to 20ish person gathering, seemed like they just had beer, but at good prices $4 for a modelo and the service was fantastic. They treat you like family. Not a super large parking lot, so if you come at a busier time I think you might have to find on street parking.“

“The food here is very good and the servers are so kind. The only thing that I really didn't like is that they don't really check up on you until you are completed with your meal. The area is so beautiful but I think it is in a strange spot because it is in the lobby of the Marriott. The Hurricane Drink that I had was not mixed well and it had WAY too much alcohol in it and not a good mix of everything else. My husband had the burger and he said it honestly isn't anything to write home about and I ended up with the alfredo which really wasn't that bad at all. Would I recommend this place? Maybe if you were in a hurry and didn't want to leave the hotel. Otherwise it honestly is just average.“

The curry goat, oxtail, rice and peas, jerk chicken, the fish - all A1 authentic.

The menu is a bit limited and unadventurous, but the food itself is quite good and the portions are large (if you're with kids younger than teenage have them split a sandwich). Prices are reasonable, in the Hilton/Marriott range (i.e., a lot less than what we expected given the luxurious nature of the place).“

Stopped by Island Chicken Grill while passing through MIA and had such a great experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned — a real taste of the Caribbean right in the airport. What truly made my visit special was Dagnay’s amazing service. She was friendly, attentive, and went out of her way to make sure everything was just right. It’s rare to find that level of care and hospitality at an airport restaurant.“
