50 Best Sushi Bars near Southwest Ranches

“I really enjoyed my to-go order from Blue Ginger.

We ordered 1 JB Roll 1 JB Tempura Roll 2 Tuna Crispy Rice and a bowl of tofu & vegetable pad Thai.

Service: The service was impeccable. The woman we spoke to on the phone to put in the order was so kind. She gave us her recommendations and she even added a side of spring rolls to our order for free! When we asked for extra sides of soy sauce, eel sauce, and spicy mayo she gave us like four of each!

Food: The food was delicious. I love trying every restaurant's version of Tuna crispy rice, and theirs was very unique. They had a whole circular bed of crispy rice, and big scoop of spicy tuna, avocado, and masago on top. It was the perfect amount of spicy and crispy.

The sushi rolls were really good too. I accidentally got my JB roll regular vs. Inside out which I normally do because the seaweed tastes too fishy and for once, this one didn't.

Ambiance: I didn't go inside because it was a to-go order and I waited in the car, but I'm sure it's really nice inside and I can't wait to go again.“

“The moment we walked in we were greeted with the most wonderful greeting by Tan. He was attentive, joyful, welcoming and showed so much excitement for our arrival just as if we were family coming to visit. Our waitress Mimi treated us just the same. Her service made us feel so comfy and welcome and she was also very attentive. When she introduced herself she even asked us for our names. Such a nice personal touch! The sushi rolls we ordered were absolutely delicious and fresh and the drinks were fantastic. The restaurant ambiance was bright, clean and spacious. And to top it off as we were walking toward the door to leave standing there was Mimi and Tan sending us off with their smiles and hugs. Tan, you are such a bright, joyful light! This was our first time here and will definitely not be the last.“

“Summer Wood Cafe a new place in town we didn’t know existed for the past year. It was clean and welcoming. We ordered Lychee Lemon Tea, Cake Cream bubble tea, and Iced Thai tea and all agreed it was a thumbs up. We also ordered Dumplings as appetizers and later the Double Dragon Tempura Roll, Summer Sky Lobster Roll and Tempura J B Roll, and Hibachi Chicken Fried Rice and all of it was delicious! Not only was the staff super friendly but they even came out with birthday music in English, Cantonese, Spanish and French and even ice cream for our son, without us even asking. “We came in for dinner and had a great experience. We ordered the Jungle and Crazy Ebi rolls, and they were both ridiculously good!

This isn't your average sushi spot—it’s a definitely a unique find with a Latin twist. I noticed most of the rolls come with cream cheese, but I prefer mine without; I asked them to accommodate and they did so without any issues. So good!“

“Great fusion food! A bit expensive, but well worth the visit!“

“Really love this place was nice. At 1st I was thinking we maybe decided on the wrong place to eat because the waitress came out to me and my friend ask would we like to have water we told her yes, we waited over 20 minutes for her to come back which she never did so we stop the waiter asking what happened to our waitress she never came back. He went to check and came back and said she wasn’t feeling well and she never advised him but he will be more than happy to help us. I really which I can remember the waiter name I just know I love his hair style but he was great, check back several times making sure we were good. But what was really disturbing to me was the waitress that disappeared on us finally showed up again helping other guest never did she come over and said she was sorry for running out on us. But it’s cool because of the waiter he changed my mind about coming back. But other than the issue our new waiter was great. Loved his hair he made the experience worth while.“
