“This was my first time visiting Rose Cafe & Restaurant, which recently expanded and rebranded with a full bar and dinner service, officially opening the new concept in October 2025. The space is absolutely beautiful ~ roses everywhere, elegant decor, and very Instagrammable from the moment you walk in. One thing that stood out, however, was a very strong scent sprayed in the hallway upon entry. My friend, who is sensitive to strong smells, felt sick afterward. It didn’t linger heavily at the table, but for anyone sensitive to fragrance, this could definitely be an issue. As for the food, our Eggs Benedict initially came out overcooked, but our server Jonathan A. handled it perfectly. He immediately took it back, asked the chef to remake it, and the second round was spot on. Great recovery and attentive service on his part. I ordered a hazelnut cappuccino, not realizing that cinnamon lettering would be added on top. I personally don’t tolerate cinnamon, so I removed the foam and didn’t say anything, but this might be something for management to consider ~ asking guests beforehand would be appreciated. Overall, the service was good, valet is offered upon arrival, and the ambiance is lovely. While it didn’t completely blow my mind, it’s still a beautiful spot with solid service. All things considered, I’d honestly give it 4 stars and would return, especially for the atmosphere.“

“Met a friend at Novela Cafe Social to catch up and it was the perfect spot. We had a cappuccino, a matcha latte, and a breakfast focaccia— all fresh, well made, and really enjoyable.

Staff were friendly, specially the lady that runs the food to the tables.

Relaxed, clean Wynwood vibe that makes you want to stay and chat. Great coffee, good food, and an easy place to spend time with friends.“

“If you want a no frills, simple, exceptionally well priced, and good spot for breakfast or lunch then THIS IS FOR YOU!
I’ve had enough paying $25 for two scrambled eggs on avocado toast. The family and I stumbled into this place (actually had to search for it because it’s in what looked like a closed office building) and we are happy we did. The place is kind of like a time capsule from the decor to the wait staff and the prices.
Reason for the 4 stars is that some of the stuff that doesn’t get much attention seemed a bit dirty, like the blinds.“

“MUST VISIT!!!! Our flight was delayed so we hung out here for a few hours and let me tell you it’s phenomenal! Sylvia is a sweetheart and the best way to describe the food and atmosphere is healing. It felt like I was eating my grandmothers soup and the Cuban was authentically perfect. As a chef myself they I rate many gold stars for this place. This may have been the best part of the trip !“

“My daughter wanted macaroons on her bday cake. We've tried a few places in the area, but this place had the best variety! I got 12 different flavors and they still had some flavors we didn't try this time. They were beautiful and tasted great! I went right when they opened on a Thursday, very polite. “If you are going in the months of January and February be prepared to wait for a table. It is worth the wait...and while you wait...it's worthwhile to take a walk and see the graffiti on the walls of Winwood. It is amazing art and worth walking around to see. Zak the Baker has the most super freakin' breads and dishes...PERIOD! Make sure to take home some bread with you...the olive zattar is Delish! Parking is street parking...would not advise you to bring kids unless they are well fed before going...worth the wait“

“I went earlier today to get a coffee and got amazing customer service by Genesis, I told her I liked my coffee not to dark and on the sweeter side and she gave me exactly what I asked for, she was super sweet and very kind, I’ll definitely be coming back and will be recommending with friends and family. 😊“

“My brother has been raving about this place for years. Today my family and I finally went (don’t know what took us so long). Everything was AMAZING! The staff, the ambiance and of course the food. It’s a family owned restaurant that takes amazing pride in what they do and what they are putting out.
My son ordered a Mango Juice that came out like a smoothie, of course he only gave each of us 1 sip because it was that good.
We ordered 2 empanadas; the spinach and ham and cheese, both were out of this world. My son had a pizza that was served with fresh melted cheese and a thin crust. My mom ordered a chicken wrap that she is still talking about; the fresh veggies, toasted wrap and delicious fresh chicken. I had the chicken Milanese and my father had the steak Milanese. Both came on a delicious bread with fresh lettuce and tomato. The sandwiches are massive and definitely can be shared or saved for dinner, which we did. The chef came out, at my mom’s request so she can thank him and give him a hug. He was so appreciative and kind. We will be going back to show love to this family owned business not only for their delicious food, but for their warm hospitality and heart! Everyone needs to RUN here!!!!“

“I loved this place. I normally pick up orders from here as a delivery driver but I decided to get a bite today(1/2826) and maaaaaannnnnn it was the bomb. Everything(grits, eggs, and hash browns)taste so well put together plus the salmon croquets taste like my mom made it. I will definitely recommend this, which i have already done, to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot. I almost forgot the tea of the day which was amazing too but like when I was eating the food I forgot I had the drink then to. A definite must try.“

“European Café is a charming little spot inside a gas station — perfect for waiting while your car gets washed. I’ve been using this car wash for many years since I’m local to the neighborhood, and it’s always been a convenient stop.

Unfortunately, my last visit was disappointing. The price jumped from $35 to $50, and the quality of the wash didn’t match the increase. It also took about an hour and a half to get my car back, even though I mentioned I had an urgent appointment.

It makes me sad to say this, as the person who runs the car wash has been a friend for years, but the prices have become unreasonable for the service provided. There’s another car wash just a few blocks away that still charges $35 and does a great job.“
