“Was at the mall shopping and was in the mood for a smoothie. I had already tried another place at the other food court so I decided to give this place a try. The lady behind the counter was polite and patient as I tried to make my decision. The smoothie came out good and I enjoyed it. Like most places though, I still feel like the portion/cup sizes could be bigger; especially when they end up having extra left over in the blender that most likely just gets tossed out. It's a food court spot so there's not much to say about the ambiance.“

“Seriously and hands down my personal favorite empanada's in Fort Lauderdale!! The crust is perfectly flaky but yet chewy, they dont skimp on the filling and oh my the seasoning in the filling is DELICIOUS. Not to mention their home made Chimichuri sauce to pair with the empanadas too.

It is a little difficult to find, its tucked in the building but when you find it trust me you'll be going back. Parking is complementary at the valet if youre going here!

I’ve had enough paying $25 for two scrambled eggs on avocado toast. The family and I stumbled into this place (actually had to search for it because it’s in what looked like a closed office building) and we are happy we did. The place is kind of like a time capsule from the decor to the wait staff and the prices.
Reason for the 4 stars is that some of the stuff that doesn’t get much attention seemed a bit dirty, like the blinds.“

“We landed early afternoon & headed straight to Café Bastille-Fort Lauderdale in Fort Lauderdale for brunch. I'd heard rave reviews about this spot & it exceeded expectations. We kicked off with a passionfruit margarita & a bacon bloody mary, both bursting with flavor. For our meal, we opted to share the truffle croque madame with a side salad & breakfast potatoes. The toast was wonderfully light & fluffy, & the potatoes had the perfect crunch. We couldn't leave without getting a NY pistachio croissant. The entire experience was enchanting. “It doesn’t get much better than Taste of the City. I have been coming here for many years. The food and I had about everything is always hot, fresh and delicious. The owner Debra is one of the nicest and most genuine people you can ever meet. I can eat anywhere from the Hard Rock, Ft. Lauderdale to Miami Beach but I prefer to come here. I have been very lucky this have this great restaurant within walking distance. The waitress is always friendly and keeps everything moving smoothly. Your drink is never empty. I only wish they were open for dinner. But then again Debra and the stuff need the time to rest. And we should or at least I should. Take Debra to dinner for having such a wonderful place. And really this is the place where everyone knows your name.“

I have since then been 3 times & every food experience is better than the last. With sky rocket high prices everywhere downtown it's nice to get an amazing quality meal that doesn't cost a minimum of $20. I've had their French toast with fresh blue berries and strawberries, their chicken rice bowl that was absolutely delicious & their turkey sandwich on rye bread. Food is fresh and the staff is super friendly. I will continue coming here. THANK YOU!!!!“
