“Was at the mall shopping and was in the mood for a smoothie. I had already tried another place at the other food court so I decided to give this place a try. The lady behind the counter was polite and patient as I tried to make my decision. The smoothie came out good and I enjoyed it. Like most places though, I still feel like the portion/cup sizes could be bigger; especially when they end up having extra left over in the blender that most likely just gets tossed out. It's a food court spot so there's not much to say about the ambiance.“

“If you want a no frills, simple, exceptionally well priced, and good spot for breakfast or lunch then THIS IS FOR YOU!
I’ve had enough paying $25 for two scrambled eggs on avocado toast. The family and I stumbled into this place (actually had to search for it because it’s in what looked like a closed office building) and we are happy we did. The place is kind of like a time capsule from the decor to the wait staff and the prices.
Reason for the 4 stars is that some of the stuff that doesn’t get much attention seemed a bit dirty, like the blinds.“

“We landed early afternoon & headed straight to Café Bastille-Fort Lauderdale in Fort Lauderdale for brunch. I'd heard rave reviews about this spot & it exceeded expectations. We kicked off with a passionfruit margarita & a bacon bloody mary, both bursting with flavor. For our meal, we opted to share the truffle croque madame with a side salad & breakfast potatoes. The toast was wonderfully light & fluffy, & the potatoes had the perfect crunch. We couldn't leave without getting a NY pistachio croissant. The entire experience was enchanting. “This was my first time at this cafe and the employee at the front explained that they opened in November. The atmosphere was pleasant (there were a few tables that needed to be cleared of plates and trash, but otherwise, cute decor). I ordered the toasted coffee with marshmallow - delicious! They explained they are thinking of changing the toasted marshmallow foam on top to a cold foam for a thinner consistency (agreed). I ordered the El Carne crepe and the meat was a little tough, but very savory. I liked the vegetables and the thicker crepe it was served in. Service was EXCELLENT. All in all, a great cafe to try out and support as they build this new business.“

“My daughter wanted macaroons on her bday cake. We've tried a few places in the area, but this place had the best variety! I got 12 different flavors and they still had some flavors we didn't try this time. They were beautiful and tasted great! I went right when they opened on a Thursday, very polite. “It doesn’t get much better than Taste of the City. I have been coming here for many years. The food and I had about everything is always hot, fresh and delicious. The owner Debra is one of the nicest and most genuine people you can ever meet. I can eat anywhere from the Hard Rock, Ft. Lauderdale to Miami Beach but I prefer to come here. I have been very lucky this have this great restaurant within walking distance. The waitress is always friendly and keeps everything moving smoothly. Your drink is never empty. I only wish they were open for dinner. But then again Debra and the stuff need the time to rest. And we should or at least I should. Take Debra to dinner for having such a wonderful place. And really this is the place where everyone knows your name.“

“I don't usually write reviews, however, this place is so good that I had to shout them out. The food not only taste fresh, but it is so fairly priced it's incredible. After my first visit in, I have been greeted by first name every single time. The breakfast burrito is amazing, the pitas are all so great, the portions are plenty, everything is just great. My only advice, when going for lunch, try to order online because they can get super busy and lunch takes a bit longer to come out, but that is because everyone keeps coming back for more!
