“Let me start off by saying I’m from NY. I’ve been looking for a solid BEC since moving here 4 years ago. I was craving a breakfast sandwich this morning and went on a deep search in the area for one. I came across Mr.Special and figured it was worth the 9 minute drive. Had I not googled it, I doubt it would have ever stood out driving by, as it’s a non descript building. I went inside and was met by a busy but super friendly owner. He knew everyone’s name, order and made sure everyone felt seen. I waited a few minutes for my order, which wasn’t long considering how many orders they had in the 5 or so minutes I was inside. I got my food and immediately opened it in the car and was surprised by the massive sandwich I got on fresh Cuban bread. I took a bite and immediately gave it a food dance of approval. Everything was super fresh and flavors were on point! I’d post a pic but I was too hungry and enjoyed the sandwich too much to remember lol. I’ll for sure be back!“

“May 8, 2025 My husband and I live in Haines City and yesterday we were at Clearwater Beach and when we left we were looking for somewhere to eat and we found this restaurant. We recommend it 100%. A spacious, clean place, the service was excellent and the food delicious. Tony, the owner and his wife served us with that warmth that Puerto Ricans offer.
