“Back in 2019 I had Islamorada Brewery send beer to NY during the cold winter. I was finally able to visit their location in person and it was worth the wait! Super friendly staff (didn’t get the bartender’s name in the beer garden), great beer and awesome food. Can’t be beat!“

“On our 2nd visit to Island Grill, we had the spicy salmon bowl, and mahi tacos. They were both good with nice flavor combinations and ingredients. The reason this place doesn’t get 5 stars, from us, is their special menu that they have around happy hour time. We had come a couple days earlier, excited to try their tuna nachos (which we saw on like 10 other menus throughout the trip, so although theirs are the original, it’s not the only place to order them). Only to find a special happy hour menu that was confusing and charged $15 extra for us to share the nachos. Seriously? It was just two of us and we should be able to choose how we eat. A $15 surcharge is ridiculous. I think that was my first time walking out of a restaurant. We didn’t even order because I didn’t feel like they deserved our money. The only reason we ended up back there another time was because friends brought us and really wanted to go. Atmosphere is important for us and the surcharge for sharing food with my husband did not feel like a welcoming or casual atmosphere.“

“Harriette's Restaurant Bayside, Mile Marker 95.7 Key Largo, FL 33037 4 Stars Stopping for some morning chow at Harriette's Restaurant in Key Largo should be a requirement for everyone traveling down the Overseas Hwy exploring the vast beauty of the Keys. However, once again, my taste buds are ahead of my fingers and I get ahead of myself. As I entered Harriette's Restaurant, I was immediately transported back to my Grandmother's house on the Sebastian River. Not only was the outside reminiscent of a bygone era, the décor ; screamed mid-century time capsule, however, it was the scents assaulting my olfactory orifice that had me looking for my favorite chair at Grandma's table. This may be in the Keys, but I am confident that it ain't no tourist trap. Christina was my server for the meal and was exemplary in every way. She began her service with a sincere, warm Southern greeting, making all her customers feel like family. We are in Grand Ma-Ma's house, after all. I asked my new favorite second cousin twice removed on my mother's brother's babysitter's side for a stack of Pancakes, an order of their Corned Beef Hash, two eggs over medium, Sausage Biscuit, hash browns, and one more biscuit as they looked so good. While I didn't try one, If you take a peek at the pics, you can see that they have quite a panoply of muffins and are well known for them. Christina soon returned with our Southern viands, and I eagerly got to work. Have I mentioned the aromas disseminating about the place? I slapped some butter on the stack of fresh-off-the-griddle Johnny Cakes, poured some real maple syrup over the top and plopped a forkful in my mouth. The cakes were warm, fluffy and delicious. Nothing beats a flapjack right off the griddle with real maple syrup. Nothing. However, I wasn't here to enjoy sampling their delectable delights; I was on a mission to bring you raw, unadulterated food reviews. To that end, I turned my fastidious palate to the Corned Beef Hash before me. This was quite good. I don't think it was made in the back, as the cut was too uniform for most line cooks. If it was food service Hash, at least it wasn't bottom-of-the-truck stuff. It was flavorful and cooked to perfection. My eggs were cooked correctly, the hash browns were obviously made fresh to order and the sausage gravy was spot on. Finally, the biscuit was not only gigantic; it was obviously made with love and pure devotion to the obvious -- care. Is this place going to win a James Beard award? No. Is it my new favorite place for breakfast in the Keys? Maybe. I know one thing for sure: Harriette's Restaurant is an excellent breakfast for a splurge vacation to the Florida Archipelago. The Big Boy says, “Enjoy the homemade grub and if you try a muffin, please let me know!”“

“This place is phenomenal when it comes to quality and taste. The portion sizes are beyond reasonable for the price you pay. The cubano is a staple and the chicken burrito def didn't disappoint. The ahi tuna appetizer with the orange sauce was fantastic. Really fresh and delightful. The staff was so attentive and frequently checked on the table. They do have a small buffet style lunch to choose from if you are on the go. Plenty of seating but parking is limited so get there early for a spot because it's absolutely worth it. The food was delivered in a timely manner and everything was fresh and hot. The only thing that is a disappointment is we live so far away. If you are looking for a great place to eat in Key Largo, This Is It!!!“

“Doc’s Diner Key Largo 4-30-25 Stooped by for breakfast on Wednesday about 7:15 am. They were not that busy and we got a table right away. Our Waitress brought the coffee fast and we ordered our food right there. The waitress was very nice and so friendly and checked on us many times. I ordered the Country Fried Steak with Sausage Gravy, Hash Browns and 2 eggs over easy. My wife ordered 2 Eggs over easy with Toast. My dad ordered Sausage Gravy over biscuits. Our ordered came out fast and looked very good. All our food as hot and tasty. When we were done, we were full as they piled up our plates with plenty of food. I give this place a 4 out of 5 stars. When I’m in Key Largo I will not hesitate to go back here. Make sure you stop by as when we left it was full of locals. “Omg the shrimp here was amazing! Great selection of beer too. I got the shrimp basket fried in piña colada batter, which gave it an awesome coconut flavor. It came with a side of my choice, so I went with the mac n’ cheese. Definitely not healthy, but honestly such a great dinner. My husband had the shrimp and grits, which were packed with amazing flavor.

The ambiance was laid-back and chill, which was perfect after a long day. Lots of great food options too!

The servers were so sweet and attentive. You could tell they had great teamwork and were all helping each other.

“I was really impressed with how clean and beautiful the property was. It’s well staffed with kind professional people, thoughtful from water at check in to all the free activities. Games in the lobby, sunset champagne toast, easy free access to beach towels. You also never feel crowded because everything is nicely spread out.
