“I was in the area and decided to check out this Starbucks location. The location was very hard to go through, and Google Maps could not pinpoint the entrance into the building. When I made it inside, the employees did not greet anyone coming in, although this was largely due to a manager talking to all of them while customers were waiting. This conversation distracted some of the employees from noticing customers were there. When the employees got my order, they were friendly and made it very quickly. The refresher I ordered was good, and so was the cake pop. The stick on the cake pop had some cake mix on it, so i wiped it off.The one major complaint I have is that this Starbucks has no indoor seating and lacks some ambiance. The wooden decoration was a little homey, but it was a little awkward standing around to wait for my drink. In other locations, there would be a couch or some sort of seating area to lounge at. Overall, I had a decent experience and may come back.“
“Great experience! Stopped by for the second time traveling back to Ft. Myers. Super friendly owner and extremely welcoming vibe. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try kava/ kratom or seasoned. Drinks are excellent! Will definitely be back again.“
“Has anyone seen the scene from "The Chronicles of Narnia" where the kids eat Turkish delight? Tons of Turkish delight options! Baklava's not greasy herePistachio pie: Quite similar to baklava. Saw it selling well, so gave it a shot. Heavy on the fats but not greasy, and not overly sweet either.Pistachio kadayif: Stringy kadayif with a hint of oiliness, not very sweetTurkish delight, or lokum!Ferrero Rocher: Wasn't expecting much, but glad I tried it. If you're into Ferrero Rocher, this one's worth a shot. A soft blend of cream and Ferrero flavorPistachio cream: With all their pistachio options, I prefer them roasted for a hint of sweetness, maybe with a touch of salt to enhance it. This one's just right in terms of texture—not too soft, not too hardPomegranate: Tastes like fruit-flavored candy with sour pomegranate seeds on the outside. A bit firmer than the first twoRose petal: Similar to the pomegranate, but with half the fruitiness and less acidity. The dry rose petals on the outside are crispy, with pistachios inside, similar firmness to the pomegranateLotus: Doubled the sweetness, but not sickeningly sweet. Not exactly sure what it's made of, still has pistachio bits insideEspresso: True to its name. I'm a fan of coffee-flavored stuff, so this one's okay by meOverall, not as sweet as I imagined (but I have a sweet tooth, so take that with a grain of salt). Their nougat sells well too. They have a website with free shipping over $79, and prices for a pound are around $19“
“I had one of the best Cuban sandwiches ever here! The sizes of their iced coffees are much bigger than what I expected which was a pleasant surprise. The lights are dim and the music was at a perfect volume so I didn’t get over stimulated. The decor was also very nice and they had stuff for sale as well. I definitely will come back after classes sometimes. The man who served us was very kind and patient with us since it was our first time! He answered any questions we had too.“
“AMAZING!! truly the best macrons I have ever tasted. We ordered 6 and after tasting one had to go back and buy 6 more!! The texture was like nothing I have tasted before. Guy took the time to share his journey from Paris, France to Wesley Chapel. Bringing his amazing pastry talent to Florida is a true exceptional asset to the area. They would certainly make great gifts and I highly recommend the tiramasu, champagne & chocolate flavors. Will certainly be back.“
“Our family went to this bakery during our family vacation August 2023. My husband researched this location months before to try out hand on some local/historical cuisine. When we arrived the staff were welcoming and helped us decide our food choice. We all had sandwiches which tasted amazing on the homemade bread baked fresh daily. The desserts were delightful. I had the guava cheese turnover style dessert that brought me back to my summers visiting family in Barbados. If you’re ever in Ybor City, please check them out! Food is good, people tan bueno y el comida es deliciosa.“
“First time @ Love coffee shop, and we will definitely be back!! The customer service was amazing. Both barista at the front had wonderful smiles, and wanted to make our experience amazing ,the atmosphere was wonderful. Don’t forget to shop at the merchandise selection.!!Vegetarian options: Although we just had coffee, their sandwich and salad selections look amazing for our next visit“
“I’ve had espresso in the best specialty coffee shops all over the the world. Seattle. Madrid. Paris. Tel aviv. This little roaster in a church (!) is at the top level. Their Brazil beans are simply perfect.Don’t let location or the pics fool you. This is world class roaster. If you’re in the Tampa area get out of your way to go there. They are outside the city. Absolutely a must go.If you like Starbucks coffee this review isn’t for you.“
“My family orders from here most Sundays. Great fresh bread every day and a neighborhood staple. They have been around 100+ years and still family owned. Order ahead to avoid the wait. This place stays busy but it is worth the wait every time!Vegetarian options: Made to order. They have a veggie sandwich.“
“Vibes 10/10. Service 10/10. Food, boba, tea all 10/10. Get the mango smoothie with lychee jelly - I promise it’ll be your new boba spot. Not sickeningly sweet, just right, tastes super fresh. Last time I got the pumpkin soup which I believe is seasonal - it was like a warm hug to my belly. You really can’t go wrong with their teas, feel free to ask for recommendations, and you can add honey! :)“
“We've been 5 or 6 times so far. Have gotten to know the owner and staff. I can say without reservation that this is a great place if you want to have some fun and let your creative side go wild! The selection of bisque objects to paint is excellent. My husband and I have been working on a set set of tableware for our house. We've also painted some gnomes and other figures. The coffee and tea bar is a really nice addition to the space. We've had a number of different coffee and tea drinks and all were delicious. Cindy and her staff are the best! They are super friendly and helpful. Also I would like to address some of the negative reviews. First, this place gets busy! There are lots of parties (birthday, team building, etc. Plan ahead and make a reservation. Although walkins are welcome, if you risk going without a reservation, don't be upset with the business, if there isn't space for you when you arrive. As far as the staff goes, they work their butts off Every time I've gone, the place has been packed. Kids all over the place, sometimes running around the studio (why are adults who brng the children not supervising them) and the staff somehow manages to keep smiling amid all the chaos. Pro tip, meet the staff, learn their names, be friendly and kind to them and you will receive that in return in abundance. The vibe, the staff, the selection, and the space make this place a must visit.“
“This is one of the best in Tampa, you can expect a clean environment, amazing service, and always friendly positive people. The food tastes clean and healthy, they use fresh ingredients and you can tell that they really care for their customers.I would recommend this place to everyone!“
“First timer here: Have had this place in mind to come check it out & finally did! Love how when sugar is adjustable & really taste non-artificial. Love it! Had their avocado yogurt with lychee popping pearls & 10/10 delicious. Cup is super cute & looks like reusable material.Atmosphere is nice. A good place to kick in a few hours of study time or a good place to socialize while enjoying their drink & snack selections.Price wise is on the higher end but for the quality of it, it's worth it for a "ever so often" treat. Will need to come back for their matcha drinks!“
“I like this place it's amazing for all the essentials, nana's make me wish I was a local unfortunately I'm out here for work but I think I'll be going there everyday until my departure haha everything was amazing I went with the seafood tray. The crabs were fresh and a good sized cluster , shrimps and potatoes were delicious this review won't do justice the corn was the best corn I've ever put in my mouth. Definitely going back after work again haha “
“I love this place! I always try to go at least once a week to get a waffle or shake! Never have had bad service! If you want to support a family owned business, this is the one to pick!Kid-friendliness: Have games for kids to play with at the tables to keep kiddos happy“
“From the authentically rolled organic cigars to the sweet coffee, this is our absolute favorite place to visit whenever we’re in Florida. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and personable, and the coffee is so good that we shell out the $10 shipping to get it all the way in San Diego. Definitely worth a visit and a shipping fee.“
“Always perfectly made, and very friendly staff. I was a little intimidated at first having no clue what I was getting or how to "order" it. It's literally just choosing a flavor and sweetness level. I like really sweet so I always go with 75% sweetness. I recommend the blueberry with blueberry boba (the tapioca pearls). There's also a display at the counter that shows all of them true to size and look.“
“Went here after school per reccomendation of my classmates. I had no idea what I wanted and the girl up front was super patient and helped me find something I would like. Ended up with a strawberry black tea with strawberry and blueberry popping boba. OMFG it was so good.“
“Look for the Manatee sign in front of the building and that is Pete's. Cute place to get coffee and a bagel! It was clean, friendly employees with good service (hard to find these days), not overpriced compared to so other Tampa coffee establishments. Street parking was available which was nice. We sat outside at one of the small tables on the deck, they also had a few picnic benches for larger groups. Clean spacious restrooms were a plus!“
“I have been meaning to try this cute little place for months and today I finally have and I can say it was SO worth the wait. I ordered a cold brew (vanilla with oatmilk) with a ham, egg, & cheese croissant and it honestly blew my mind. The ladies at the counter were so helpful and welcoming, and the atmosphere is so relaxing whether you want to study, read a book, or just sit outside and enjoy the weather. Definitely will be coming here again! Cutest little hidden gem :)“
“I love this place!! Everything here fascinates me and if it is when they are making the delicious smell it makes you want to try all their sweets. It is always clean, both the guys and the owners know what they are doing and their service is 10+.“
“Nice little boba restaurant in Brandon. Interior may not be as nice as other boba places in town but I’m not complaining. The staff are friendly and welcoming, ensuring a pleasant experience with each visit. I'm definitely looking forward to returning and sampling more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommended.Parking: Lots of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible.“
“Had a good bacon, egg and cheese bagel in the morning. The coffee is strong and there’s ice coffee too on the counter. They have a big selection of bagels and they make their own flavored cream cheeses (jalapeno, honey almond, green onion, strawberry and more). The price is right, forget the big breakfast places, support small businesses. We will be back.“
“as a boba fanatic who's tried MANY places and in different states, this remains one of my go to spots for boba. very polite and friendly staff every single time I've come here, but the boba and variety is OUTSTANDING. you can also sign up with your number to get points towards a free drink, I strongly recommend this place if you're a boba lover or new to it!“
“Absolute gem of a place that my best friend introduced to me while visiting her and this particular location will be my go-to coffee shop when Im there!!!Wonderfully friendly staff with great recommendations on the best coffee and food combos, super cute and chill lounge area thats perfect for studying or working or just catching up with friends.Cant wait for my next trip to see my bestie so we can swing in and grab another delicious coffee ❤️“
“The chicken roti was absolutely delicious. Well seasoned, tender and a large serving. My husband has the curry goat and was extremely satisfied. The restaurant is clean and welcoming and the owner is so friendly!I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“The food is delicious!! Some of the best crepes I've ever had! The waiter was super nice and the food came quickly. Their restaurant is very cute, and I would come here again!Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere was very kid friendly! The waiter was very nice.“
“While exploring the Apple Store at Brandon Mall, we stumbled upon The Blind Tiger Cafe and couldn't resist the allure of a good cup of coffee. The cafe exuded a pleasant ambiance, with patrons immersed in the joy of their coffee experiences. After perusing the menu, we opted for the Flat White Almond Coffee and the Iced Matcha Latte. The service was prompt, and soon our to-go coffee orders were in hand. My partner savored the Hot Flat White Almond Coffee, expressing delight with every sip. She described it as amazing and delicious, thoroughly enjoying the warmth of the well-crafted coffee. On the other hand, I indulged in the Iced Matcha Latte, a refreshing and delicious treat. The matcha-flavored coffee was a delightful companion for our exploration. Our visit to The Blind Tiger Cafe was nothing short of amazing, and we left with a newfound appreciation for the artistry of their coffee offerings. It's a gem for coffee enthusiasts, and we highly recommend their delightful concoctions.“
“I went here with my girlfriend the other day and I got the brown sugar coffee milk tea while my girlfriend got the brown sugar milk tea. The prices here are relatively decent ($7ish for a large) and the place is run by a very nice couple. I will definitely be coming back!“
“If you're looking for a fun place to grab a cup of coffee in Tampa, you have to check out Blind Tiger! One of my favorites to grab is the Dirty Thaiger, which is iced espresso, Thai tea, and sweetened condensed milk. It's bright orange and super instagrammable, and also tastes really good. I also enjoy the Cafe Bombom. The inside of the cafe is always decorated with fun decor such as dressed up skeletons! They also have chess and some boardgames.“
“I live down the road and this is my go-to coffee shop! Everything is so good- the coffee, food, pastry and everyone is so kind. I do wish more people worked here, everytime I come in it’s very busy and only one person working who is always hustling to keep up!“
“Excellent service, food and coffee. In comparison to the Starbucks on 56th street, this Starbucks maintains the standard of excellence. No matter how rushed, they are always friendly, they acknowledge you and has never messed up a cup of coffee. The food is always fresh and when you ask them to warm it up, it's actually hot, as opposed to the one on 56th street, I have had to ask them to "re-warm" it each time. This is all to say that although they are busy, they treat you kindly and give you what you actually ordered. I have been going to Starbucks for years and this location always has a good cup of coffee and the food is always on point. The morning crew is spectacular. They should take a trip down the street and go train the ones on 56th and Bertha. I ordered from Bertha this morning, it was so bad I had to throw it away. No need for a re-make.. it's always bad, diluted coffee and stale food. I digress... this Starbucks and it's crew is FABULOUS!“
“Great Coffee! The Artist Corner was very interesting. The food was sub par. I got the breakfast wrap. The wrap itself was good, the eggs were warm but lacking flavor and the ham and cheese were cold. My husband got breakfast sandwich on a croissant (no bagels anymore) and said it was okay.“
“I would need to write a novel in order to explain all of the things I love about this place. For starters, it is always very clean. The setup is conducive to productive work and easy thinking. The staff is always very friendly. I accidentally spilled my drink one time and the manager, Serena, was so nice and chill about it. They have the best kava and Kratom in the state of Florida. Most places go crazy with the potentiators when brewing, resulting in a spicy, bitter nasty drink. However grassroots keeps it simple, and their Kratom actually tastes delicious. The quality is also top notch. They harvest the best beans, leaves and kava root.“
“I decided to check out this place after seeing it many times in the plaza. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere when I walked in. I was also surprised by the extensive and affordable menu that offered a gym/student discount as well. Service was great as well as I tried a free sample before purchasing and was told about the rewards program as well. I will definitely be returning!“
“It was rather slow, it's Memorial Day so not unexpected. I docked a star tho because they didn't have a few things I wanted but it's ok what I did have as really good. I got the funnel cake and made my own with cheesecake, strawberries and caramel. It was just one guy there but he was very friendly and accommodating. So I'd say he did good for being alone from what I saw. It looks like they make have little events occasionally and I also noticed they rent the space out. Nevertheless, I'd come back for my sweet fix. The mango lemonade was perfect for me, not too sweet and not too tart but just right! It was very refreshing.“
“Great cafe with plenty of seating and plugs inside Hotel Haya in Ybor City. It's a good place to get some work done and they have a good amount of menu items include Cafe con Leche and espresso pours. It's nothing too fancy on the coffee list, but solid line-up. They have some baked goods for-sale too. Seating is really spread out so you can have your own space and since it's near the Hotel Lobby, Wi-Fi quality is good as well. I like visiting and try to visit if I'm in the area.“
“This is a cute little açaí and coffee shop! They have a good selection of bowls and smoothies, and their coffee is very good as well. It has a lot of seating, WiFi, outlets, and a good vibe to hang out and get some work done. Friendly and efficient staff made my experience all the better.“
“Never disappointed by the ice cream, and they maintain the old school style play area. Fresh paint and hardware. It'd be nice if vagrants didn't linger around property and smoking wasn't permitted where people are trying to enjoy the patio with kids.Kid-friendliness: They maintain some super old school playground equipment. Fun when kids are laughing, playing and being kids.“
