“The food was good but there were several items on the drive thru menu that I was told they don't sell...not that they were out of that item, but that It's not available at the drive thru....one was a can of Mountain Dew. I don't understand why this is the case?? Maybe it was a language barrier? The person was kind of rude to me until my fiancé spoke with them in Spanish. I'm not opposed to trying this place again and I will update my review if I have a better experience.“

“Great service. Luisa and the server Alejandro did great✌?. Excellent bread, butter and all plates well furnished. My girlfriend’s relatives are from Spain. She were asking to add something to her Paella and was very surprised the server and other one that was there, they didn’t know anything about “ Jerez”.., usually all people from Spain they ask for this Jerez to add it to the Paella.. it’s like the soy sauce of the Paella.., none of the servers know about this.. ..Coffee and dessert were great too. Averall, great experience, but please, next time have Jerez to add it for the Paella?.“

“Coming from Miami and Cuban cuisine being part of my upbringing, the best Cuban sandwich I’ve had in years was at Flan Factory. Let’s start by saying the frita took me back to late clubbin nights and going to Flagler for a Frita afterwards. Hands down the best! The Cuban sandwich was spot on. The Cuban fried rice was OMG delicious! Side of tostones and fried cheese was fire! Washed it down with the horchata iced coffee and topped it off with 13 flavors of flan. Yes you heard me 13 and more flavors to choose from. I couldn’t get just one.“

“Service was great, staff was friendly, and the food was good! I had the Cuban sandwich - I give it 5 stars. The bread had just enough crunch to it that it didn't tear my mouth up. It was buttery and warm! I love that it's served with lettuce, onions and pickle. It also comes with tomato but I omit that. I had a side of black beans and yellow rice as well. My husband got the Ruben, and there were a few fatty pieces of meat in it- the reason for the 4 stars. He said it was good, tasted great just didn't like the fatty pieces, he said it was a bit chewy. Overall, I recommend this restaurant. We both agreed we would come back. Our server was really sweet, and attentive.“

“Went in for a birthday party with a pretty large group. Our server was super friendly and accommodating the whole time!I ordered the basico with both types of chicken and it was kind of bland, but not bad for the price. I recommend the nachos.“

“Went in there this morning and got three Bacon egg and cheese sandwiches and a Cafe con Leche. Everything was great, the service was great and they were very fast and friendly! I can’t believe how reasonable the prices are on the menu and for the quality of the food and how it tasted what a deal! Sure beats Dennys or McDonald’s!!“

“Holy smokes the food here is insanely good. The Chicken arepa is a savory, tender and moist flavor bomb wrapped in a nicely crisped arepa. The cilantro garlic sauce is creamy, delicious and compliments the arepa well. It’s a shame that I’m just visiting the area because I’d probably stop by multiple times per week if I lived here. “Empanadas filled differently. 4pk/$25($7ea. hey, it's Armature Works). Fresh Prince: take on a Philly. Buffalo Soldier 2.0: buffalo chicken. Cheeseburger in Paradise: as advertised. Tampa Girl: a Cuban in an empanada. All delicious. Taste like they were baked or air fried. Thank God, because the insides were pretty gooey with cheese ?. Cute baking mold with the names. There's tacos, too. I hear it's another great transition from a food truck. If you're trying not to have a full meal, most of the places in AW don't help, even the smaller kiosks seemed geared to larger(and pricier) offerings. See my review of AW.“

“Cute little coffee sandwich shop. Stopped in for some afternoon coffee and found a perfect cup of coffee. My daughter got a simple Cuban coffee for quick amazing little picked me up with perfect ratio of coffee to sweetness. I enjoyed a coffee con leche try delicious, creamy milk with just the right sweetness to still taste and enjoy the coffee. I have tried coffee on leche in other coffee chains and they are terrible this is what o have been looking for and will be back! Corner little shop next to grocery spot with a small sitting area inside and sandwich options which must be good because a lot of pick up orders to go!“

“One of the best if not the best Cubans I have had here in Florida. Made fresh right in front of you. If you do not want a Cuban, there are many other Cuban delicacies waiting for you. Fresh pork dishes, fresh, chicken, dishes, empanadas, and many great side dishes You have to try the stuffed potato. There is also a small selection of beers to be had. The service is great with a very friendly crew. Best part, this food will not break the bank. Very well priced.“

“Our family went to this bakery during our family vacation August 2023. My husband researched this location months before to try out hand on some local/historical cuisine. When we arrived the staff were welcoming and helped us decide our food choice. We all had sandwiches which tasted amazing on the homemade bread baked fresh daily. The desserts were delightful. I had the guava cheese turnover style dessert that brought me back to my summers visiting family in Barbados. If you’re ever in Ybor City, please check them out! “5.99$ for a large cafe con leche that tastes like drip coffee I’d make at home, they don’t add sugar to it like most places do and don’t ask if you want any. 5/10Good Cuban- could use a little more mustard, and the pulled pork was a bit dry. Perfect crisp, perfect amount of pickles. Has potential to be top 5 ever if they added the mustard and kept their pork in liquid. 7/10Muffaletta olive spread was a bit too mild, meats and flavor of the rest of the sandwich was amazing. 7/10Guava con queso pastry was excellent 10/10- would be elevated to 12/10 if they put a sprinkle of large grain sugar on top of the lovely egg wash shine to add some more texture.“

“I have been coming here since I was a kid, back when I used to do summer camp at Circle C Ranch before it closed. Always came for lunch. They have remained well portioned, fairly priced, and delicious forever. Great breakfast, even better lunch. Being greeted with friendly faces, quick lines, and having fresh and tasty food makes it a one stop shop. Glad to have them still here as a staple of South Tampa.“

“I picked up my order from Caribbean Twist on 3/30, and I must say, they nailed catering for my recent family get-together. Everyone couldn't stop talking about how delicious the roast pig, oxtail, picadillo, black beans, and yellow rice were. The food was a hit, and I appreciate the excellent service.“

“I was on the hunt for baked empanadas and found this little gem. The selection is impressive with about a dozen varieties each of sweet and savory pastries. Everything, including the dough, is made in their shop. The classic beef empanada was delicious and I really liked the southwest chicken (even if it's a bit Americanized). Two empanadas were filling and, since they were not fried, hopefully a bit healthier. The staff were as warm, friendly, and welcoming as can be. The seating area is pretty small and they also have a little patio outside. I will definitely be back.“

“Omg we came here and I didn't know what to expect it was my first time here. Upon walking in I smelled all this delicious food which was being cooked and on the server bar with people making your plate with what you wanted. I could decide heck I wanted the entire food bar! Everything was fresh and the menu was something to behold with food that would appeal to most people. The salad bar!!! I turned and saw it after I'd ordered my food and paid! Gosh! Well I went back the next day to get food again and this the salad bar. It was fresh with all the ingredients that a salad lover would want! The place was clean with a local feel! Love it!“

“I am all about supporting small business. Great people. Smiles all around. All good except pricing. Small cuban place like this should have reasonable prices. Stopped by for a coffee, and thought why not try omellette to give the place some business. My bill came to 17.50 and with tip close to $21. Kid you not! Omellete was 10.50, asked for onions in omellete 0.75, cuban bread 1.50. First the older gentleman rang it up to $25. At my perplexed face, he punched bunch of keys again to drop it down to $17.50. :) Just saying...!!!“
