The attentiveness of the bartenders & the quality of the food complement each other nicely , Destiny & Gabriella especially . “Wanted a memorable Anniversary dinner and we definitely got it at Maxine's on Shine. It is nestled in a residential neighborhood so parking during peak times can be a bit tricky. We did make a reservation and arrived shortly after they opened at 5pm. Our immediate feel was that we were entering a speakeasy. Cool decorations,intimate yet casual indoor/outdoor seating, private dining area in rear and plenty of staff. Tables and bar were starting to fill up for their happy hour. Mia our server made her introduction and took great care of us throughout. They had a three course magical special along with regular dinner menu. We started with libations then onto a caprese salad appetizer. Our entrees were Maxines Chicken and Pasta and Beef Lasagna (a recipe taken from the former Italian restaurant that occupied the same space).
Both were delicious! We passed on dessert but one of the owners (Mr. Maxine) cane to our table and personally toasted us with a limerick and champagne. We truly welcome the opportunity to return with or without an occasion. Enjoy!“

“We had an amazing time at Keg Social Orlando celebrating a birthday! We enjoyed bowling, axe throwing, and the arcade, which provided hours of fun. The venue offers something for everyone, regardless of age—our group ranged from 11 to 41 years old, and everyone had a blast. “Ordered Bolay for lunch through the app and was so excited to find a free Bol coupon in my rewards! Ordering was super simple and straightforward and the ready time was super fast, under 15 minutes! Since this was during the workday, I needed to be able to get there and back with my food quickly to fit into my 30 minute lunch break! I was visiting family in Orlando and my sisters said they were dying to try this place.

It looked liked one of those uppity places with bad service.

I was wrong, this place is so chill. The staff were so friendly. My sisters and I switched tables three times and the they were cool with it.

Our waitress has either friend the whole or just know customers very well because she ordered for all of us and everyone was happy with their order.

My only complaint was that my sister only let me eat a little of her soup!😂

If you are thinking of trying this place please do! You won’t be disappointed. Unless you go with someone that doesn’t like to share.“

“The two times I went to BurgerFi on my trip to Florida was an amazing experience! It was the best burger place ever! The service was amazing and very friendly! I got the yes chef burger, and those caramelized onions were the best coming off an eight hour flight and eat. Their sauce was delicious. Best sauce I’ve ever had. I then got the Oreo shake and I must say that was the best Oreo shake I’ve ever had; nice and creamy with Oreos and sprinkles was very good. Definitely 100 out of 10 would recommend. burgerFi needs to expand all over the US!“

“The BEST! If you are looking for the best of everything in a dining experience, look no further then Marlow's Tavern. A true gem! When you walk in, it's too a sparkling clean dining area, with a coziness that envelopes you in comfort with deep colors, and the a/c is just right, the background music is just right, and the hostess finds you a nice corner that accommodates a mobility scooter and the other 3 in your family are comfortably seated in a wrap around booth. The table is not attached to the floor so that even larger members of your party, can be comfortable. Our waiter, Mario was top notch right from the start, explaining to us how the restaurant is a cut above a typical restaurant by making everything from scratch the food and the drinks (even the drink juices and mixers are all made fresh in house) We wanted a tropical drink that was not in the menu, they made us exactly what we were looking for! Then the chef came out to personally greet us and welcome us even providing us with a surprise that made us feel like VIP's. Our waiter described a few of his own favorite dishes. And answered our questions and advised us on the menu to meet our specific tastes along the way. Then came the food!!! We ordered a crab dip with buttered saltines, shrimp and grits, a lump crab salad, prime rib french dip, and asparagus fries. We LOVED every single bite(and ate every single bite, stopping just short of licking the plates) The BEST of everything, each forkful a delight and the best we have ever had! I mean the best crab dip. The best shrimp and grits( 2 members of our party mentioned that they were going to share, it was plated perfectly on two plates, with more shrimp on 1/2 the order then we had ever seen on a full order! The shrimp were succulent, firm, tasty and cooked to perfection.) The prime rib was cooked exactly as it should be and so tender it just melted in your mouth. Asparagus fries we almost fought over, a nice twist on one of our favorite veggies. The food was so good we even had to get 2 desserts to go(we were to full to eat more but it was so good!) that we wanted to try the desserts. As we were leaving, some live music started playing. Our only regret is this was only a quick stop for us before heading out on a cruise. We would have loved to be able to try everything on the menu, it was a difficult decision to decide on just one appetizer and one entree. Go and ENJOY THE BEST!!!“

“The Stubborn Mule was the perfect spot to grab dinner before the Megan Moroney concert at the Kia Center with my family. Even with the restaurant packed full of fellow concertgoers, everything ran smoothly.

The service was fantastic, and our server, Kyle, truly made the experience. He was friendly, attentive, and absolutely hilarious—a great host who kept the atmosphere fun while making sure we had everything we needed. Despite the busy pre-concert crowd, our food and drinks arrived surprisingly quickly.

The cocktails were excellent, and the food was even better. The flatbreads and handhelds were all delicious, making it hard to pick a favorite.

One nice added touch was that the restaurant had country music playing throughout the evening, with plenty of Megan Moroney songs mixed in. It really got everyone in the mood for the concert and added to the experience as several tables sang along.

If you're headed to an event at the Kia Center, I recommend making The Stubborn Mule part of your evening. Great food, outstanding service, a fun atmosphere, and the perfect way to kick off a night downtown!“
