“I had not been to Ruth Chris' in a long time. I came here on Easter Sunday to celebrate a birthday. I have to say the experience was excellent from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. We had a reservation and we were shown right in to our table that was very nicely decorated saying Happy Birthday. Out service team, Kat and partner, were outstanding. The food was outstanding. The ambience was very relaxing and our table was in the perfect spot. Yes the prices are a bit steep but the food and the service truly accounts for this. I will definitely try to come back sooner.“
“Best steakhouse in Orlando period. Been here twice and everytime it has impressed me with their amazing service knowledgeable staff that are able to converse and give amazing recommendations/ pairings. The food is second to none in the area, any of the steaks are on my death row final meal requests it’s surmounted other high end restaurants in quality presentation and price I always walk out more than pleased and excited to come back can’t say enough about this amazing establishment absolutely drive out of your way to treat yourself to this absolute blessing of a restaurant. Plenty of great vegan options as well if you swing that way ♥️“
“I had high hopes since we weren’t able to get a reservation for weeks, but after deciding to set it up for my birthday dinner I was ready! To say we were satisfied would be an understatement. The steak was perfection, the french onion soup was the best I’ve had in the world, and the chocolate cake was to die for. I didn’t get a pic of the cake because we ate it up so quick! Best bday dinner ever! We cannot wait to go back!!“
“Papa Llama, 2840 Curry Ford Road, Orlando- 4-Stars Michelin Recommended- Bib Gourmand! Peruvian immigrants, Kevin and Maria Ruiz, say they founded Papa Llama in 2016 as an experimental pop up and opened the doors of this location in August 2020. In 2022, they earned the Michelin Guide's coveted "Bib Gourmand" award for establishments that serve good food at reasonable prices so naturally, I got excited. Paulina, my server, was well prepared and knowledgeable, making for an auspicious beginning in a gorgeous environment featuring good prices for dishes that could be made to satisfy both carnivores and herbivores alike. I ordered the entire family style menu which was, according to Papa Llama, "designed to be tasted together, shared, and fought over." So much food for just over a hundred dollars. The prices may have been cheap but the taste and quality of (most) victuals valieron un Perú! A hearty Big Boy Thank You (Sulpayki!) to Kevin and Maria and the culinary dactylograms of their ancestors, on this amazing cuisine (Somaq Mihuna!). The first item on the menu was Olives--whole green Castelvetrano olives marinated in house with aji panca--which were so delectable I could eat them all day. Next, the Red + Gold Beets, a minty beet salad with honey ají amarillo vinaigrette, queso fresco, and candied pistachio, which started out smooth and creamy and ended with a pleasantly piquant bite. Papas a la Huancaína followed, a fingerling potato dish with spicy aji amarillo cream, wakatay (black mint) salsa verde, and beef chicharron, topped with a fried egg. The potatoes themselves were not the star, but the combination of flavors in the sauce were amazing, unctuous but smooth. Papa Llama carries a long list of natural wines, more wines than food items, actually. That evening, I chose the Yuzu Sake, and may I say, "Holy smokes!" How refreshing after consuming so many peppers. The rest of the dishes I would give 4.5 to 5-Stars, EXCEPT for the side of frozen Sysco French fries which almost ruined an otherwise stellar meal. There are over 300 kinds of potatoes in Peru. Over 300! Perhaps in the United States we don't have the same abundance as found in El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley) but, por favor, do not stoop to this! The Big Boy says, "Eat here. All the authentic Peruvian flavors at Papa Llama are 5-Star, but skip the fries, which are a corporate conglomerate frozen food disappointment."“
“My fiancé and I came in for a late night dinner, felt bad for coming in so late. But we were greeted kindly at the door, had a great experience with server Eli. He was time efficient and patient and very nice. Our food came out quickly and was delicious! We tried the koala drink, mostly for the cute koala ducky, it’s a really yummy cocktail for anyone that likes things on the punch-like side, fruity and sweet. Thank you Outback we’ll be back.“
“I went with family. I had the shrimp on the Barbie. The shrimp was good (8) but the bread was soggy and looked unappetizing. Presentation was nothing like the picture on the menu. I also had the French Onion Soup. The flavor was excellent but it was apparent they downsized on the cheese and croutons (or bread). The strawberry tea was excellent ??. I had 2 glasses. There were no complaints from the family. I think everyone else had steak. The waitresses took good care of us.I recommend Outback... but not the Shrimp on the Barbie.“
“About a month ago in late March, my husband and I were surprised by the warm welcome we received from Chris and Tonia as we entered the restaurant. Amber was a great waitress. The server Janice was cheerful and kind. The food was delicious and the experience was a pleasant one because the staff were all working as a team.“
“I don't know how I don't have a review for one of my Favorite Places! For almost 10 years this has been my go to for my personal "best burger". The picanha burger is so well seasoned, full of flavor and juicy. I usually get the fries as the side option. The cart has been at this location as long as any other as they were one of the first trucks at ala carte. I think the $15 price for a great burger and fries is just perfect for me. Over the years they sometimes do special dishes for holiday's or events. I was able to make the steak valentines a few years back and it was amazing.“
“I usually don’t leave reviews but this was the first time going out for dinner as a family of 5 with a 10 month old in tow…let me just say, our server George was absolutely PHENOMENAL, his attention to detail, his follow up made what could have been a very anxious evening a stroll in the park! Although George was serving multiple tables, we would have known no different by how awesome he was! Great job George!!!! ?Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!“
“My BFF came here for happy hour and our server, Kaidan (apologies for misspelling) was fantastic!!! We sat outside, weather was perfect, food was amazing and the beer was cold!! Such a perfect evening with super amazing friendly service from our server to the food expo was friendly!! Everyone was happy to help and show their appreciation! Thank you Bahama Breeze staff for making my friend and my night together extra special!!“
“I can't say enough about this restaurant. I ordered my dinner from DoorDash, and DoorDash really screwed up big time. They lied and said that Outback had canceled the order. I called out back and they said they never cancel orders and that my order was sitting there waiting for me. In spite of the fact that I did not want to have to go out of my hotel, I went to Outback and got my food. The girl there was so understanding and she gave me a piece of carrot cake for my trouble.“
“Our hostess Dawn was amazing, funny and kind. Jenna our server was attentive, an extremely efficient worker always coming to take empty dishes, made sure we were doing well with our food and her service. Bryan the owner/manager was on top of everything. The cooks were on point! The best blooming onion I've ever had there, and I've had quite a few. Truly, for someone who frequents Outback's, was a breath of fresh air coming from a long time server. 10/10, will certainly favor this Outback and staff. This place, and certainly the people, need recognition for who they are.“
“In town for vacation and ate dinner here on a Friday night at 8pm. No wait, my friend and I were seated and ordered drinks which came out right away. The restaurant is clean and the music wasn't too loud like some places. Armando was really nice and I enjoyed our experience. The Red Rock Shrimp was AMAZING, so flavorful and juicy. I got the Chocolate Stampede cake and ate it the next day, so yummy. This is one of the better restaurants in the area and I would eat here again.Kid-friendliness: Large birthday party of 10+ kids seated next to us and they were accommodating.“
“Just ate here for the first time tonight with my parents. Impeccable service. Quality food. Very nice ambiance. Loved it! We order chicken Marsala, New York strip, the grouper, scallop appetizer, Caesar salad, bruschetta and deserts. We also had the for old fashioned, a mojito and the pear martini.“
“We came in with a party of 30+ so it did take a while for our food to come out but everything still tasted amazing! Our server Marco did a fantastic job at juggling all of the request, food/drinks orders and all the different personalities while keeping a smile on his face and being completely professional! I like that even with a large party they don't charge automatic gratuity to the bill and I also appreciate how the manager was doing everything she could to ensure we still had a great dining experience even though our party was so large, I will definitely be returning!“
“Update to my previous review. Some things have changed but, unfortunately some problems remain.Texas Roadhouse is our favorite mid priced place to get steaks. While the food was good, the service was very slow considering the restaurant was half full. Salads took forever. Steaks even longer! I always order my steak blu but about half the time servers only tell the kitchen rare and I have to send it back. There have been times with excellent service unfortunately it's jusr not consistent.“
“I remember going to a Texas Roadhouse often when I was a kid, but I haven't been since I was about 11 and I'm currently 31. My wife had never been to a Texas Roadhouse ever in her life, so today when we were driving by and saw this location, we decided to try it out. I can't even describe how impressed I was with the service and food! This location was even better than the one I used to go to when I was a kid and my wife instantly loved it! We will definitely be coming back very soon and recommending this location to our friends and family!“
“This was my first time to go to Sam Snead's and it was excellent all around. I was hungry for a hamburger and they did not disappoint. I went with co-workers and found that I kept talking about the experience when I got home to my family. It was the best burger I've ever eaten. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Great place. I will definitely go back.“
“Five of us had dinner tonight. We did not get off to a good start. The salads were fine but when the steaks came, every one of them was wrong. My husband had the New York strip, and it was rare but he ordered it medium rare to medium. One daughter ordered her filet medium and it was raw. My son-in-law ordered a filet Medium rare, but he had a tendon running through it and it was rare. My other daughter ordered her filet medium well, but it was very well done. I ordered the filet Medium rare with no seasoning, but it was rare. When they took the steaks back and fixed them My daughter ended up with my filet with no seasoning, and I ended up with hers and it was overcooked. It sounds like a mess but Chris, the manager, came out and figured out what was wrong, and went in the back and remade everybody’s himself. When he brought them back, they were delicious, cooked exactly right and the potatoes were fantastic. On top of that, he brought out desserts for all of us and what started out is a bad night left all of us loving dinner and we will definitely go back. Chris is a fantastic manager and I think that’s what makes Longhorn so good. A manager can make or break a restaurant And he went above, and beyond to make sure we were all satisfied and happy.“
“The food was perfect, even according to my restauranteur parents. Best brussels sprouts EVER (seriously, just try them). Great corn. Perfect lamb chops (my mom is Greek, so she would know). Apparently the steaks were great, and reasonably priced. Since I don't eat steak, I had shrimp and BBQ chicken. I only wish I had asked for the BBQ on the side, it was a bit much. Attentive and agreeable service. Thanks Longhorn, for a fantastic family meal. We ate between 3 and 5 on a weekday, which is a great time to avoid crowds.“
“We came in and had Gabby as our server. She was an absolute delight the entire experience. She was upbeat and friendly even later on in the evening on a Saturday night. She was present and checked on us but never made us feel rushed. More places need service providers like Gabby.“
